1	The beginnings from bottom ; A rant. Here's my understanding of the given subject: Purusha literally means "Person" or "Personality" while Prakriti means "nature" in Sanskrit. In the given context (Sankhya philosophy) the purusha is the controller and the Prakriti is to be controlled it's similar to molding clay where the clay being Prakriti and molder being the Purusha.
