It's still quite like that sadly. There's a surprising amount you can get away with if you can't code at all.

Obviously you know more about being a sex worker than I do. It's cool, I don't judge mate.

In the UK they do have to pay tax (normally they register as an independent masseuse or something). Pretty sure a few have been prosecuted for tax avoidance, god knows how they were caught though as it strikes me as the kind of job where it's dead easy to avoid paying tax. How's the government going to know whether some guy left you £100 in cash or not?

screenshot post hook up texts/pics and save to the cloud. I started doing this after my friend got falsely accused. No foul play at all, she was just mad he didn't want to commit. Thankfully it was proven to be 100% false (nothing happened to the girl of course) before it got to court but it really shock me up. Normally I'll send a quick text the next day saying I had fun, maybe remark on something that happened or we talked about. Only downside is you're wholly dependent on the girl replying.

It's only ever the "high status" male-dominated roles they care about. I've never seen a campaign calling for more female construction workers, plumbers or refuse collectors for example. I'm in STEM (Compsci) and there are a lot of bright women in the field. But I have noticed a much higher proportion of women, compared to men, who are just not cut out for it. As in, they just couldn't grasp the concepts required. For example, there were ~10 women on my course of which 3 were completely hopeless…

Also: do you have a credit card? Take out $200 and go fuck an escort. Boom done.

Another word that has lost all meaning. I've seen it used to mean basically anyone on the political right. Some male feminist even called Rolo Tommasi, the dating coach, an incel even though he is married with a daughter.

In which case he sounds like he's in a rut. And his bragging is just a big cope. But I don't know. People are weird man.

Some people just really like their work. I really liked the last job I had and worked overtime more or less any time that I could (and was paid well to do so). He's an engineer so presumably he likes solving problems and he gets to do that every day. Life isn't all about women, dude. Though as for his shit love life, if your friend keeps getting rejected as much as you say and he's as smart, chances are he'll wake up soon and try another approach.

You need to let it go bro, and find something else to derive value from other than approval from women.

In my much younger and more naive days, I genuinely used to believe woman were inherently kind, trusting and caring. Might have been the case in the 1950s perhaps, definitely not the case now. Truth is many women are just fucking horrible people to be completely avoided. Granted so are a lot of men but generally that's less of a surprise. Real redpill moment was when I had a brief job as a carer. Very female dominated workplace. Seeing all the bitterness, back-biting, misandry that went on was a…

Must be something you want to achieve. Think about what skills you have, think about the sort of people you admire.

What do you want to do bro? You're young as fuck, think about what you can be a master of within the next ten years or so. Find something that you like doing and that people will pay you to do. Just don't spend it all watching porn and playing video games.

Fair enough - that makes sense if you're very tied to where you need to be. Personally I've moved around a lot, normally for work and I don't see it as leaving my whole life each time. Still keep contact with the friends I've made in each place. It's not that big of a deal (to me at least).

I don't know how old you are, but are you in a position to just up and go somewhere else? Just delete all your social media and find a new job in a different city?

I get that for sure, things aren't always straight-forward unfortunately but I think sometimes keeping a sense of perspective can be very beneficial - particularly when you're young and have a clear framework for an exceptionally bright future ahead of you.

Mate you are in med school. I don't know where you're from but in the UK that's like one of the hardest, most competitive courses to get into. I know people who try for years who don't get in. If you complete it, provided you are not completely incompetent, you're basically set with a meaningful, high paying, high status job for life. So assuming you actually like the field, I would focus on getting through med school. On top of that, I agree with what /u/MrBowlfish said. Start doing very little…

As long as everything you said there is true and not a massive cope then cool, sounds like you've got a pretty solid state of mind. If that's the case then women will likely be attracted to you anyway and it's just a matter of when you want things to happen.

This is something I've had trouble with as well and I don't think you're alone. Make sure you've got shit going on in the here and now. Always. This is essential. If you do this properly you won't even have the time to think about it. Realise most people seriously do not give a fuck. Probably don't even have a vague memory. If you're still hanging around people who do bring it up, cut them off or give them shit so they don't do it again. We have a tendency to focus on negative experiences to ens…

Call me incredibly cynical but I suspect papers (The Daily Mail website is where I normally see this sort of thing) are more likely to publicise suicides involving young, attractive women as more people are likely to read it. I don't think I've ever read an article about 40 year old man ending his life, unless they were famous or died in a bizarre way.

Damn same bro. The amount of opportunities I fucked up due to stupidity and naivety. What I wouldn't give to do college again with what I know now.

She's currently finishing up college and will probably be making more than me at least for the foreseeable future. Sounds like more of a red flag to me. Recently I caught her in a lie and basically she still talks to former FWBs regularly. The fact that she even had FWBs is a red flag, but this is even bigger. Again, AFAIK it's nothing too serious as I'm all over her social media and all of her friends know about us. Now this flag is so red, it's on fire.

A lot of my friends are in LTRs and this situation is pretty familiar. I remember thinking it was really weird when it started happening. I didn't know if they actually wanted to fuck me or were just after attention. For the most part, it seemed to me like they were bored with their boyfriends and craved the attention/validation they had when they were single.

I agree this is the most likely outcome sadly. Add to that many people are living an increasingly transient lifestyle which makes it difficult to develop social networks. More people stuck living with their parents or transplanted into tiny, soulless apartments in big cities. I lived in one for over three years, didn't know a single one of my neighbours and I don't think that's uncommon. Unless you're part of a religious group, there's basically no community any more. The unexpected variable of …
