Do coffee or frozen yogurt first. This gives you time for you two to get to know each other a bit first. It makes her feel much more comfortable when she does come over to your place. I usually make dinner with her and then we "watch a movie".

Double standards are no fun. We should encourage women to be more open and confident like the one in OP's post.

Thats sort of how pick up works for girls though. It's more focused on social cues than the way guys would traditionally pick up girls.

So a girl having sex with a lot of people is a bad thing?
/r/seduction03/03/13 07:11 PM

I always subscribed to the philosophy that if a girl is willing to cheat on her boyfriend with some stranger then the relationship is already ruined. I choose not to have sex out of principal but I would not have an issue with a guy if choose to go through with it. At the end of the day it's just two people making a choice. If she regrets hers in the future than perhaps she should have exercised some foresight.

I think what LightVader is saying is that looks play a factor. They aren't going to make or break you but it sure doesn't hurt a guys chances to be dressed well and be physically fit.

Great write up but as a guy who prides himself in how he dresses I feel like the clothes chunk is lacking a bit... "I wear everything on the slimmer side, and straight leg or boot cut." This for example...Never buy boot cut pants. You should almost always go for Slim/Straight or Skinnes if you have really really thin legs. Also other parts aren't specific. As always /r/malefashionadvice is a great resource for beginners. I can post some other resources if Seddit is interested.

He's probably referring to OP's scenario. Both were ready to do the dirty but the girl he was with was showing resistance because of social stigma against that sort of stuff.

The thing about telling stories over text is that you will never know how someone said something or what the body language was like. Maybe gj667cc is really attractive and so it didn't really matter. Or maybe the guy is a sly fucker and he can get away with things that are normally unconventional. Just my copper.

You're already in, rejecting is going to far. Maintaining alpha would be something more along the lines of agreeing to go on a date but deciding where, when, and what you're doing.

It would be better to go somewhere like a mall or coffee place. Also make sure your group isn't too big. You aren't going to get anything done if you have five other guys with you.

You seem really cool, want to get coffee sometime? Or invite her over to something you and some friends are doing. (So long as they're cool with it and it's appropriate to have her there) Whatever you do, make sure to be outcome independent. It's not a big deal whether or not she says yes. You are your own man.

Another tip: Get a mirror where you can see your whole body and some speakers. Now listen to hiphop/rap. The beat is usually pretty consistent and apparent so it's easy to go with it. Now watch different videos of people dancing and just copy their moves. The mirror will show you what works and what doesn't. After awhile of practice start filming yourself if you have a camera. Film gives you a much better look at what other people see when you're dancing. Also inspiration http://www.youtube.com/…

It's like anything else. Not dressing well isn't going to destroy your game just like slouching or not making eye contact will either. But they are details that add up. Take a look at MFA, you don't need to spend a lot of money to look nice. I'm a college student on a tight budget but I still get complimented on my style. Also women love a guy who knows how to dress and talk fashion. (As long as you aren't weird about it.)

Always ask in person. I've asked plenty of people out and you are much more likely to get a girl to go on a date with you if you ask in person. Also the whole not responding to the text thing ceases to be a problem.
/r/seduction26/04/12 04:26 AM
1

It depends on what kind of vibes I get from the girl. Usually I'll go up to a girl I fancy and strike up a conversation. Usually something about how she is dressed or that she seems cool. How she responds determines how direct or indirect the rest of the set is. If she smiles and seems really happy about my compliment or starts a conversation I'll go super direct and just sort of seal the deal and get her number really fast. If she seems kind of uninterested I'll start running indirect game. I'm…

I find it funny how you feel it's wrong that her boyfriend is flirting with other people yet it's okay for you two to be to flirting? You're posts speak volume of your character. Forget the girl, find someone else.

Most people who complain about being unattractive can do a lot more to make themselves look better. Exercise, dress well, get a nice hair cut, and so on and so forth. How attractive you are is sort of a starting point which you can move up or down depending on your personality.
/r/seduction20/04/12 02:05 AM
1

I can say I've had much more success opening with something like this as opposed to something like "Hey you're cute". But that's just me, I know a thing or two about fashion and girl's seem to appreciate a guy who knows how to dress.
/r/seduction19/04/12 04:42 PM

Seddit isn't about manipulation. People act like we are hypnotizing women and treating them like trash in return for sex. All this dislike for Seddit is caused by complacency. People would rather find excuses or scapegoats for their problems rather then actually trying to solve them.

Douches are just usually confident guys who know what they want. This makes for some good short term success but they're going to be miserable when they can't find anything passed the sex from a girl. The thing is douches aren't successful because they're douches it has to do more with their confidence.

If things don't work out then don't stress. It's all about improving yourself!

How would you get the girl's number in the first place? Haha
/r/seduction13/04/12 06:48 AM

I'd think it would be hypocritical for people to hate you for telling her to do what most people proudly boast about on Seddit. Have sex with as many guys as you want, just make sure they know it isn't a relationship and vice versa.
/r/seduction09/04/12 05:05 AM
3

I feel that a lot of men confuse themselves as "Not giving a fuck" when in reality all they're being is complacent. Would you date someone whose unattractive? Probably not, so why should women expect any less? Read up on how to dress and do some exercise. Become passionate about something and get cultured. Seddit can only do so much.

Same with me! I usually go because I like to dance and hang out with friends. If I see someone I fancy I'll strike up a conversation but I don't really need to get numbers to have a good time!

The girl was also drunk. Although I doubt the guy would've gotten in any serious trouble he would have lost some gentlemen points. If the girl genuinely wants to have sex with you then she'll do it another day when she's sober.

I would've joined in! There's no harm in having some fun and it's not healthy to take yourself so serious all the time. Personally I think you overreacted, the guy was just trying to have fun. Upvote for interesting question

Every time I see posts like this I wish the OP would secretly be my neighbor so we could hang out. Just talk to people! If you have a tough time talking to girls try baby steps. Compliment a random girl on something. Keep that up until you build confidence and can just start talking! Just don't let the failures keep you down. Learn and grow from your mistakes. Good job on how far you've come, just keep at it and never forget how much of a badass you are internet stranger.

Did you end up talking to her? Also approaching on the bus has always been weird for me. I get the impression that sometimes girls feel trapped on the bus when someone talks to them? I'm curious as to what Seddit's opinion on this is.

This needs more upvotes. I don't think the girl could have made it more obvious that she was into you. After being passive about it for so long she probably assumed you just weren't interested. I don't know if the OP will be able to salvage this but just learn from your mistakes.

You don't need to be good a dancing to dance. Listen for the beat and move your body and feet to it. Confidence is important, nothing looks more awkward than someone whose trying too hard and feeling uncomfortable while doing it. As for dancing itself. There are plenty of guides on youtube for different styles. I like to dance and I practice 3 or so hours a day but the most important thing I could tell anyone is have fun, go to the beat, and try not to worry about other people think of you. If y…

What you said comes off as a little dickish to me. If she wants to be friends just accept it. There are plenty of other women, and there is no point on ruining a perfectly good friendship because you want to get in her pants.
