When I was in my early twenties I didnt even want to date a guy in his thirties let alone sixties. Now I'm late twenties there's still no way in hell I'd go for someone older than my dad

I don't think I have a cut off number but ideally under 10 and at least 1 previous sexual partner

I think it's a deal breaker for lots of women or at least lots of women aren't happy with it but feel like they have to pretend to be

Second 100%, I'm a big fan of everyone should fix themselves before they try to fix others/change the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 09:17 PM

Only big ones for me are being overweight or unhygienic. I'm sure there are smaller things that would put me off too but they're the only two that come to mind.

By dyed hair do you mean dyed unnatural colours like pink or blue or do you mean someone who gets highlights/covers up grey hairs dying their natural colour?

Make up and hair is less physical effort than exercise.

It sounds like you don't want to get married and that's ok, it's not for everyone and some couples commit for life without doing the whole marriage thing. I'm getting married because I love my SO, couldn't imagine being without them and see marriage and as a celebration and symbol of that. If you don't have those kinds of feelings towards it or you dont find a partner you love then it might not be for you. For some women not marrying is a deal breaker though so you should be aware of that.

How? Does it come up naturally or does someone ask?

I don’t do hook ups or casual sex, and some men treat this like I literally killed their puppy. I’m told I’ll never find a man, that it’s manipulative, that I’m withholding sex, that I’m an entitled princess/delusional/arrogant and bring nothing to the table, that I’ll only attract desperate losers, that I HAVE to do my due and sleep with a man simply to keep his attention long enough to be considered ONE of his options. Who on earth is saying this to you?! This seems nuts. I've only had sex wit…

I think it depends on his n count as well. If the two people have similar n counts, whether high or low, then they're less likely to be unhappy. If one person has slept with 2 people and the other with 20 I can understand why they wouldn't like that. But I do believe if you're pretty evenly matched then both parties can be happy regardless of how high that number is.

How can you know if a person your with considers you a potential long term partner or just a casual fling? Especially if someone lies about their partner count. Yeah I guess you have a point here. Just answering for myself, I feel like I've always known when a guy just wants to hook up, like I would avoid guys on a night out because I know they're looking to find any girl to get with and any girl will do. I wouldn't expect a relationship out of that. Where as if I meet a guy, we have chemistry, …

I don't think it is a failed relationship. I think a lot of people go into one night stands and hook ups with no intention of having a relationship and just wanting sex. I don't see an issue with not wanting a partner who has a high n count but I don't think those bodies are all failed relationships. I think people can have high n counts and go on to have happy relationships if both parties are happy with it.

Surely this can't be true? I'm not from the US so maybe your population are just way taller than mine but I find this crazy. I never known if it's an exaggeration or genuine.

Nope definitely not for me, me and my partner are the same age, both late twenties. I'd maybe go five years older than me but probably not more than that. I like being at the same stage in my life as them, it's nice to both want to go travelling, settle down, have kids at the same time. And it's fun to start earning money at the same time and go from not having much to building a whole life together and watching your holidays get fancier as you can both afford more. Also 50 is way to close to my…

Some of that stuff is hypothetically fixable, but it’s a ton of stuff that could take years before I’m maybe someone women will consider. Like I already feel like I’ve wasted my entire youth. Do I really want to wait until I’m in my 30s to have my first ever relationship? The problem with this kind of thinking is that time is going to move anyway, whether you change or not. So rather than thinking, it'll take ten years to fix all of this, it's too much work, it's better to think do I still want …

I'd say if it was one or two women then the issue isn't necessarily him as women's bodies are all different but if it's everytime then he's probably the issue.

Short-term flings from here-on-out will be the only expectation since I have no real way of trusting/vetting women for LTR material anymore without hiding my newfound wealth/lifestyle If that makes you happy then go for it but if you end up rejecting women for LTR based on negative experiences in the past when you want one, you're hurting yourself and you're not punishing any of the women who rejected you.

I feel like it's very rare to see an actual ugly person around, I'd say I mainly see average people. I don't find fat people attractive and there are loads where I live but I'm not sure if they count as ugly because there's nothing wrong with their features, it's purely the weight.

I like being with someone who's at the same stage of life as me. Its nice to share experiences together like both wanting to travel at the same time because you've both recently left uni or both feeling ready to start a family rather than having to wait for them to catch up. I think if a woman is ready to settle down she'd be less keen for a young man who was excited to be starting his twenties and have his own adventures.

I wouldn't have an issue with dating a male virgin from the perspective of being attractive to them. My only concern would be that there tends to be insecurity and a bit of jealousy on the less experienced persons behalf. It can make the relationship seem unbalanced so it would depend on the individual.

I'm a major introvert and luckily for me, I was friends with my boyfriend first. If I had to enter the dating scene and sit on the other side of a table to a stranger I would die, I can't imagine anything more stressful.

I don't really like clubs that much, I much prefer pubs and bars but when I do go it's for dancing, drinking or because my friends want to go. I've never gone to one looking for a hook up
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/21 09:46 PM

I don't think this is really a thing in the UK. I think women (not all) would be more interested in guys driving expensive cars than driving more traditionally masculine cars here

truerateme is a bit too depressing as well. It's like looking at what gets rated low there you think oh god well what am I

Yeah I think you're right. The guy I was thinking of when I said that does 10k runs most days and works out loads as well. I think he's put on a tiny bit of body fat but probably muscle as well

I don't think it's useful at all in the real world, especially if you're going off one scale like truerateme. Where I'm from, a lot of people are pretty plain/ugly/overweight so a 4 or 5 on truerateme would do pretty well here. Put that same person in Italy and they probably wouldn't. Having one internet rating system doesn't really account for those differences. And I think a lot of people outside reddit don't really use rating systems that much.

I think this is really difficult to answer because it really depends how the person carries the weight. I've got friends who would put weight on their boobs, bum and thighs first so an extra 10-25 pounds can still make them look good but others who put it straight on face, arms and tummy. Similarly I've had guy friends who've told me they've put on 10 pounds or so during covid and they don't really look that different to me.

As a woman I like my guys: My height or taller but only by a couple of inches Dark hair/eyes Not fat Musclyish but not massive roid look Relatively attractive face Think southern european kind of look

If it's average sized, a woman isn't going to turn him down based on that after him passing on looks, personality and chemistry. As for women who are purely interested in sex, additional size doesn't make that much difference. As long as it's average and not really small then technique, foreplay etc. play a way bigger role than a couple of extra inches.

I think a lot of 3 and 4 women would be guarded if they were approached by an 8 man. There's too many guys who do 'get with an ugly girl' 'get with a fat girl' bets. Even if a woman is ugly they don't want to be humiliated. I don't think attractiveness is a good predictor of how easy a girl is. I have less attractive friends who are picky and only sleep with boyfriends and really attractive friends who love sleeping with just about anything, and vice versa.

This is how you have a successful mixed friendship group. In my school there were a few mixed groups but they were so incestuous that by their mid twenties no one was really friends anymore

I don't think a male/female friendship can work out long term if you know there's the chance that you'd both hook up if single and given the chance. I think it can only work if you really really wouldn't go there. If that possibility of sex is there then the friendship will eventually end in a jealous partner or you hooking up and it getting weird, or best case scenario you start dating and become a couple

I think they do care but a lot of younger men just aren't very good at it because they've learnt everything from porn. It's not that they're being selfish, it's just that they don't have a useful model for what we like. But every partner I've had has been keen to learn what I like and how I like it, it just takes time.

I really want them to be mentally healthy people. So many of us are plagued by anxiety, depression, feelings of under accomplishment, feeling lost etc. I don't want this for my children. I want them to feel reasonably happy and content. Physical and mental health is very important. I'd like them to have a stable job that made them happy so that they could support themselves and ideally find a partner and make a family of their own. If they wanted to be child free that's up to them but I want a b…

I don't have casual sex but again not because it's degrading. I don't think I would be able to separate sex from feelings, so if I did something that to me seemed intimate and never heard from the person again it would make me sad.
