Misogyny, racism, gatekeeping and hypocrisy have no place in the men's movementNo one is forcing anyone to behave a certain way. The POINT I'm making is...the feminists who fuss over it without calling out their own are throwing rocks from a glass house. The good, self aware ones have the intelligence and moral fortitude to understand they are looking at a mirror image of what some of their fellow feminists do. And will simply seek to engage with the better elements of the MHRM. | /r/MensRights | 10/11/21 11:05 PM
Misogyny, racism, gatekeeping and hypocrisy have no place in the men's movementThe feminists have been saying horrible crap for over 150 years. The first suffragettes were rather racist harpies. The second wave that finally nagged their way to being able to vote without putting ANYTHING on the line unlike men of the time were also saying toxic things. As were second to fifth wave feminists. Most of them just ignore the mess. The best feminists don't, but the toxic ones are never gatekept from being powerful anyways. It's hypocrisy | /r/MensRights | 10/11/21 06:16 PM
I feel I am being pushed out of my career because I am a white male.Inaccurate. Racist bigots carrying on the tradition of communists and marxists actually being pretty racist when they open up and show you who they really are, deliberately divide society seeking to fuel conflict aimed at sparking a revolution they think they can steer towards leading to their utopia, which is nothing more than a fantasy, pure fiction. Class conflict didn't work in many counties so they're trying other tacks simultaneously. | /r/MensRights | 01/07/21 11:49 AM
Was watching SBS and got a nice surprise when they had an educational and in depth piece on male victims of domestic abuse.it's progress, but they're still not actually justifying the feminist dogma about 'inequality against only women, never the reverse' being the core reason for domestic violence. It's just stated as 'fact' at one point in the article. And it claims MRAs attack feminist groups without admitting feminists groups absolutely attack calls for more equal services for men and research that might be as critical of women as perpetrators as other research has been of men. There's been a scuffle over Refuge… | /r/MensRights | 03/09/20 11:19 AM
Male victims of domestic violence have few places to turn or services to callThis article is dripping with condescension towards Men Rights Advocates and carefully crafted excuses for bizarre ideas feminists cling to. What even is their proof that 'gender equality' is more important that protecting all victims and addressing all perpetrators better? There's a lot of questions this article avoids exploring and the author is extremely selective in who they were willing to talk about this topic with with. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/20 10:18 AM
Is this a double standard? That's awful, I see from other posts that your friend is struggling and I hope he's got plenty of true friends to lean on now, including you of course. Especially ones who also can see this for what it was. That's rape or at least attempted rape, depending on if she actually forced to him to penetrate successfully. Certainly sexual assault then and earlier as well when she deliberately waited to try and make out with him while he was as drunk as possible. But with him denying it was rape and sex… | /r/MensRights | 27/03/20 08:08 AM
OP is considered an asshole for granting his two kids the same amount of moneyOP did say he already got them underwear and socks. This money was for other clothing. If they weren't meant to be buying new underwear that day I have to wonder about the bras and if she already has ones in good condition. | /r/MensRights | 26/08/19 06:30 AM
The Economist Cover: "Why Female Economists Are Fed Up"So the AEA changed policy to require 'civil' discussion everywhere from its members. A mandate for 'civil' discussion is often a red flag for me. These policies favor the passive aggressive insults and excessive criticism women seem more proficient in on average and often in application pushes men to go back to being gentlemen while some women fling around incredibly vicious verbal attacks. Unless the policy is strict about people throwing shade and being more subtle in their verbal abuse like s… | /r/MensRights | 27/03/19 02:41 AM
Hulu isn't letting me watch The Red PillI dunno. Try logging on with out one first to see if Hulu will let you access it. If you search for it in Hulu and it doesn't show in the results then it's still hidden. Then try a vpn to Australia or something. If you still can't, There are other sources for the video though including the link above. Please report if its blocked for you too for sure though. let's keep tabs on this maybe. With the mass censoring of certain e celebs lately I'm wary of what this act on Hulu's part might entail. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/18 11:51 PM
Guys, I hate myselfIt seems like you're at an intense emotional low. I can't really give advice on how anyone else can handle those but I know mine usually just ebb away naturally with some time and distraction. Keeping busy might help. Beyond that, you never really know for sure. I get that feeling of wanting a deeper relationship though. Be careful who you try dating and don't be too trusting at first if they start tapping into that. It could be used against you. And it's gonna take a lot of self control but don… | /r/MensRights | 13/11/18 09:23 AM
Hulu isn't letting me watch The Red PillThanks, and I think amazon prime still allows access. I'll have to check later. What concerns me is that any platform should take such an important, rare point of view video down or lock it into a hidden state. Considering some of the other stuff Hulu hosts this is hardly the most controversial or out there documentary on the platform, and I hope I'm just having an odd error or the video goes back up soon. In the meantime, if anyone else is seeing similar issues it might be good to keep tabs on … | /r/MensRights | 13/11/18 09:06 AM
