If talking to an AI sex bot, heck lets say it was fully integrated with a physical realdoll body, makes you happy... then you never truly desired a flesh and blood woman.

If you see a double standard, you wouldn't rationally determine you need to bully the fat women to fix this issue. You would rationally determine you need to build up fat men's body positivity views within male culture. You'd build men up, not tear women down. The fact they only focus on destroying women's beauty standards tells us a lot about the emotional pettiness of these men. Also FYI blue pill/mainstream men are extremely supportive of women's movements. Leftist men are dyed in the wool su…

She got criticized for two main things: one, she looks horrible now compared to her chunkier self. Her face looks distorted. She just flat out looked healthier and prettier as a chunky girl. Two, the effects on her vocal chords seem to have impacted her negatively. People that went to shows when she was fat compared to shows where she's become skinny have said they notice a distinct difference. As someone that was a day one adele stan(I was a fan of her before her big break, a friend had sent me…

I'm also pretty sure she would clarify her statements in such a way that a reasonable person would understand she doesn't mean literally "me and my friends only find 1 human male attractive at a venue and we all clamor for him" and would admit that all women have different 'types' of guys they go for and a singular venue will have multiple men that are attractive to some women at that venue.

Lol the story about that 92 year old guy leaving his wife of 50+ years for a 50 year old.

This is a very recent change in divorces, and if you dive into that 70% you find nearly 90% of the men in those relationships were contemplating divorce at that time, the wives just beat them to the punch. Turns out people in really bad marriages think about divorce long before the actually file for it.

You can want to be chased and still have a 50/50 relationship when that relationship forms more solidly. From my end on dating sites, especially if the woman is physically attractive, if she even reaches out wfirst, and then you don't reply within a few hours, she often unmatches. None of these things have anything to do with a 50/50 relationship.

Most liberals are former kids of conservative parents. It's like the old joke "Why do all these damn heterosexuals keep having gay babies?!" Liberal parents tend to have liberal kids. Conservative parents tend to (eventually) have liberal babies or grandbabies.

The retirement system was awful and completely dependent on your children's ability to take care of you as you aged. We see abandonment issues in 3rd world places that still don't have a social safety net for older generations. Even China has had elderly abuse issues due to still having a society built upon "take care of your parents/aunts/uncles/grandparents."
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 01:12 AM

Most women are having one child and stopping at that one. Even younger women, going by currently statistics, are doing this. It's fairly rare to find a childless woman in her 40s in america, SK, etc. Hence the right-wing obsession with "above replacement level."
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 01:08 AM

Adding to this, the type of women having multiple kids right now is a demographic conservatives don't want having children at all. They're usually young, POC or white, and anti-conservative.

It's also a trend that is purely socially-culturally related, so if things change we'll actually see a dip instead of increase. Things aren't set in stone and trends don't always go up.

NYC is going to depend 100% on what burrough you're in. Most people don't date outside of the locale that they are in, which is sort of ironic because people in smaller cities are more likely to be open to dating someone in a neighboring city than someone in NYC.

Nerd spaces have gone mainstream enough that these women by and large are 'normies' overall. Every Con I've been to, if you actually engage with the women there, are usually very mild mannered average types that just enjoy a certain fandom or the community as an accepting group. Yes weirdo horse girl types exist too but they don't make the majority of women at these places. Now, I would agree if we analyzed girls/women in say the 90s at these Cons. 2024? Nope, mostly normies.

Success is defined by "can maintain a romantic relationship with another person for more than 3 years." Before an adult human dies between 60-90, they will have multiple LTRs under their experience. Bullshit and you sound like a radfemme that have helped seed the destruction of every wave of feminism that attempted to do something grand. Feminism helps men and women. It's primarily goals(4th and 5th wavers) are beneficial to men as well as women.

Feminism is at its core about egalitarianism becoming the norm within society. It isn't female liberation exclusively. Egalitarianism helps non-elite men just as much as it helps elite-women.

and talk about normal things like you would with your friends, then you're gonna be perceived as a platonic friend. That's not what happens though. Women that are interested in dating you romantically will have that seed in the back of their mind. After some period of time of getting to know them, if you make a move when she's receptive to it, you'll form a romantic relationship.

Yea, right as if it's easy for some autist to constantly make friends. If they live in a metropolitan city area, this is true though. Autistic people are capable of having a multitude of interests, and often become highly respected within those circles due to their autistic nature bringing out positive qualities that most cultures view as good.

There is no functional difference. If you train a woman to build a nuclear bomb, she will be able to do so. If you train a man to build a nuclear bomb, he will be able to do so. Replace 'nuclear fissionable weapon' with whatever topic au jure that you think is the current hardest thing to do for a human.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 09:51 PM

Exactly. The subtle differences between everyone on earth through every single axis is a combo of hormones, genetics, sociology, history, legal, moral, environmental, and religious vectors. Yet the human species is more alike than dissimilar to each other. If I take a woman and man from every single culture on earth and ask them deep probing questions, you're going to see incredible overlap in desires and needs.

It is not taboo at any company, including fortune 500 companies, to consensually start friendship groups at work and almost all hobby groups and you find a partner eventually within that group. There are a tiny handful of companies where it's heavily frowned upon and we shouldn't be judging things based on those small amount of companies.

Right now men, specifically right wing men are the ones losing their minds over a silly meme. Human beings are more dangerous than bears, tigers, elephants, hippos, snakes, and any other creatures on land. The only time humans may be on equal footing or in a worse position would be against hungry sharks without a boat.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:46 PM

You clearly don't understand how most people interact with each other nor how they think about learnable skills. You can certainly stake out the position that the mainstream is wrong, that humans are genetically or some other reason locked into not increasing their abilities to interact with the world, but in doing so you need to acknowledge most of us don't believe in such 'fate' for people.

To maintain a friendship with someone, and I mean deep friendship not just acquaintance in similar circles kind of thing, you have to take steps to actively pursue that state of being. You do have to work hard on friendships.

Doesn't have to be 1 for 1 equal, just something equitable. Men aren't physically reeling from the labor but they're still having to take care of a pooping, vomiting, crying infant that is up at all sorts of weird ass hours compared to what most people are used to.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 10:30 PM

Men absolutely should legally get similar time off with their children. Federally speaking it should be law. The problem is, even in places that allow for this we see men squandering their time off and not spending it with the children at the crux of why they're getting the time off. It's really fucked up but a lot of men still have shitty conservative, self-centered ideas about themselves over their kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:14 PM

Because that's not what people are doing. They aren't thinking "I'm naked 5 feet from a bear or man suddenly alone". In a vacuum, would you rather be in a place of vulnerability with a wild animal or a thinking human? Most logical people know humans are the top of all food chains on earth. We are the alpha predator. Another human is infinitely more dangerous, morally and pragmatically, than a creature of the wild.

Who the fuck is going into the woods, or treats this silly question scenario without any weapons or tactics? If a bear is twenty feet from you, you still have multiple avenues to get the bear to retreat or kill it if it won't retreat.

The question posits: All things being equal, can you survive against a man or a bear? Bears are easily outmaneuvered, out paced, killed with traps and weapons, scared away, etc. If it's a nice man vs starving bear, women would be fine with the man. If it's a nice trained bear and evil guy, everyone should be choosing the nice bear.

I'm a man and I answered bear. 100% of people are answering the question honestly when you get past the absurdist comedy of the question. No I wouldn't snap my fingers to replace it with a man OR a woman. Humans are inherently more dangerous than other creatures in the terrestrial world. Only when we start talking about sea creatures does the table turn, and that's only if someone doesn't have access to boat. You're in a statistical anomaly situation. Most women now a days in their 30s are happy being single as long as she has some good girl friends to keep her company. If it's "wrong" for someone significantly older to date a college aged person due to their lack of maturity and life experience, are you also against allowing 18 year olds to; vote, join the military, join the entertainment industry, own property, take out bank loans, sign long term contracts, etc? The people that "settle" are mostly very happy and on the road to 20+ year relationships with a rollercoaster of shared happiness and shared sadness like all relationships have. Some of those that settle now will divorce and remarry into a happier relationship. A very small amount will divorce and be unhappy until they die. People that don't "settle" end up moving from short term fling to short term fling until they die. Their happiness depends on their outlook on life, but statistically speakin…

The reason for most of those is almost always the fact those same women have obligations towards children and society sees that as a worthwhile thing for those women. Men that are sole caregivers have very similar rates of incarceration and bail and sentencing. If you look at those same stats and only include single women with no kids, the numbers almost exactly match the similar male population.

If you live in a major metropolitan area, you go out regularly with mixed groups of single people(or married people with single friends), and you're somewhat put together you're gonna find someone. If you don't meet this criteria, then learn how to take steps to obtain it. 94% of humans on earth manage to do this with at least 1 partner in their lifetime, with the majority doing it with multiple partners. They're delusional and think that their personal thoughts are the same thoughts other men have. Yes Mr. RedPill wants a tradwife and 3 kids by age 25. Most men however don't want that. They may want 1-2 kids, and that's only if they're in a very stable LTR.

Lol thats not even how bonobos work. A few ape species do work on a more alpha male dominated way, but we've also learned that loner beta chimps also frequently mate successfully with females within a troop. Something like 30-40% with genetic testing we've done.

Men don't own women in any tribes we've came into contact with. Even the North Senegalese Island people follow a pretty normal familial structure from what little we've been able to see from drones and limited contact with them.

Do you not live near colleges? I'm in a college town and the bars are hopping every night, especially weekends and holidays. Drove downtown last night to go to a Memorial Day party and things were wall-to-wall traffic wise. We have nerdy bars, LGBT bars, frat/sorority type bars, old people bars, etc. and even the old people bars are very busy throughout the week.

The lesbian divorce rate goes significantly down if you don't include the lesbians that got married right as their state or federally allowed for it. A bunch of lesbians got impulsively married(yes this was dumb) and it inflated the divorce stats. A lesbian getting married in 2024 will likely stay with her partner for 20+ years.

Complete truth in one simple sentence. Although FDS are still less delusional than TRP guys, not by a whole lot but still noticeable that the preferences the FDS mods pushed were somewhat reasonable for a partner. TRP's "virgin submissive" trope is utterly ridiculous for a modern liberal woman.

You're a crazy person. Circumcision is definitionally the term to use in this context. Your obsession over the phrase 'genital mutilation' is showing your incredible weirdness. That's coming from someone that would ban globally through the UN resolutions being able to cut any body part off a child or adult without their permission or permission of a reasonable medical professional.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 09:28 PM

90% of marriages are within 1-9 year gaps. 95% are within 15 years. Now, this is technically marriage stats and not 'dating' stats, which would likely skew these numbers a bit more since dating someone is a lower threshold than marrying.

Blue pill men that are neurotic in a way like this get vast amount of treatment in their 20s and 30s, fixing much of their problems. Then they're much more likely to date and actually form a good relationship with someone.

Every single person on earth has red flags, because we're all imperfect people. The ultimate goal to finding long term partners is if you can put up with their bullshit, and they put up with yours, without driving you or them crazy. If you can do that, you'll have a long successful relationship.

The right answer is a city, because there are more semi-rural/semi-urban areas within a city to find the type of partner you ultimately desire. There's also just flat out more selection. You're going to find someone in a city of 100,000+ single women, compared to a small town of 20 single women.

We're talking globally, so using "in the west" is dumb in this context. Working hours have no correlations for fertility. The main two things that affect fertility are overall lifestyle desires and basic economic decisions that people make when they have or decide to have kids. Also impulsivity/lack of BC, but we're trying to get away from those births as a global maturing society.

I'm a man and I'm absolutely going to put any human as more dangerous, male or female, than an animal all things considered equal. Animals can only live through their instinctual(and for some mammals, learned) experiences. Humans are on another plane of intelligence and decision making. The most dangerous thing in the world is a man, the second is a woman, and the third+ are whatever apex animal predator in that environment you're in. We're doubling down on reality. It's more funny-sad that y'all can't understand the logic behind choosing a bear or any animal over another human, including another woman. Humans are scary. Animals generally aren't. Animals harming you is based on instinct. Humans harming you is based on their lack of moral care for a fellow human. Animals can be out fought, out thought. Other humans have a much higher ability of circumventing any planning you do around protecting yourself from them.

Women generally rely on very minor physical(compared to other things) things like slapping, pinching, and throwing things. None of these are healthy for a relationship to continue, but the difference is stark. A midget with a micropenis is probably gonna die alone, that one didn't doesn't change that. Most midgets with micropeens end up marrying other midgets who accept them and their micropeens. Now you can fantasize that the women in those relationships then have to get sexual satisfaction from toys/other men with larger penises, but ultimately what the public sees and what those couples report on surveys is a mostly happy marriage. Most midgets don't die alone.

Man-hating women is an extremely new phenomenon that is a tiny fraction of global women's thoughts on men. Women-hating males is several thousand years old as an ideology. Women have more power today than at any other point in our entire last 6000 years of human history. They currently have a tiny fraction of overall power in the world. We don't truly know what a near 50/50 global power sharing society would look like, because we've never had it beyond the very small(tribal) scale.

See my post below. Testosterone does effect self control from the limited testing we've been able to observe over the past couple of decades. Hetero men, FTMS, cis women with high T all exhibit a documented loss of self control in many aspects of their lives, including sexual relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 07:25 PM
6

Libido and sex drive, along with self control, do work like that. Men tend to have less self control due to the way testosterone affects our moods and thoughts. FTMs see this increase when they go on a sufficiently high T script. FTMs, like most hetero men, will fuck anyone and everyone when they're gassed up and not thinking straight.

You can look at satisfaction rates between lesbians, bi women, and hetero women. Lesbians show the largest positive rates per encounter, then bi women, then hetero women. It makes perfect sense if you're familiar with younger lesbian communities, and some older lesbian communities that are still sexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 07:21 PM

The reason why is because a significant amount of women are increasingly more hornier than in the past, presumingly less due to biology but due to socialization and culture promoting sexual wellbeing for women and men. We know tribal societies are rife with lots of teen and adult sex(sometimes with each other group.) It's a normal part of many cultures in our recent past. Prudish cultures are actually not the norm historically speaking.

Imagine a sub where you debate optimal investing strategies. Stocks? Options? Crypto? But half the members of the sub are broke/homeless/unemployed. Those do exist, there's literally subreddits for frugal investment strategies and get quick rich schemes and side hustles.

Women are underrepresented in college First college in the world is regarded at 1088. From 1088 until roughly 1980s for enrollment, and 2000s for graduation women have historically made up a tiny fraction of overall college attendants. It will take hundreds of years of current enrollment to equal the amount of men that were privileged to get higher education degrees and the positive downwind generational affects from that.

This person does not exist in the world in 2024. Even right wing christo-fascist douchebags or left wing anarcho-communists can find a niche heterosexual group that want to date them. Even the worst personality dude that looks handsome can get a date if he honestly tries hard enough in a market with enough available single women. No, women on here say "I personally don't find X number of men attractive to me to date, but I can objectively acknowledge they are attractive people." Women tend to develop a certain 'type' or small group of 'types' they like and ignore the rest of men. The reasons why seem to be based on the fact every girl from the puberty on are constantly getting hit on by ALL types of men, and that tends to jade women's experiences towards attraction. Ironically the same thing happens when attractive men g…

I would hypothesize that bisexual women probably find about 40-50% of women attractive, but only ~20% of men. If you hung out in bi-spaces you'd find this much higher for male attractiveness. Bi folks tend to have a much wider range of attractors than heteros.

Yes they can because the proportional threat of violence is asymmetric, ethically women have more leeway with stereotyping on this specific issue due to the statistical logic of it. As a man, yes. Very low standards, and if desperate, no standards. For ever cracked out, crazy fucking woman there's at least 3 men that have recently(within the past year) fucked her or tried to fuck her. Women, thankfully, don't seem to emulate this behavior. Of course some blackpill/redpillers will actually say this is a negative towards women as a group that they tend to be at least slightly pickier than men. As if that's a bad thing! Lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 08:31 PM

The testes stuff is a bit silly in the scheme of things. Humans have a higher brain function that allows us to plan as many or as a few sexual encounters we want. Primates have to rely on instincts ingrained in their brains, and cannot deviate from that(that we know of.) The size of our testes don't have much to do with anything, in modern terms. Only our ability to keep producing sperm or precum which have sperm in it, which the average male can do quite a lot of.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 11:07 PM

The above poster has set up a no-win scenario in this conversation you're trying to have with them, I suggest pulling the ripcord. Women absolutely can be fooled into believing X kid is Y daddy or even X mommy, when in fact its a totally different daddy or mommy. Of course a woman cannot rationally believe the baby that came out of her isn't hers, at least until we get into some kind of weird future stealth surrogacy thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 10:50 PM

I think sometimes, these men are thinking “if I were a woman, this is what I’d do!” but they are not women, they have a male sex drive. Women have more opportunity to cheat but less desire to do so. More importantly our life experiences heavily dictate our actions and feelings. If a "man" grew up as a woman, he'd have a completely different outlook on every aspect of "his" life. Also we know exactly what high T women do: they act like high T men to a certain extent.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 10:34 PM

since most men don't want to waste time and resources and shoulder extra stress and responsibility for someone else's kids. This doesn't seem to be true when looking at the skyrocketing step-parent demographic. Most "betabux" dudes have 1-2 kids and are joining up with a woman with 1-2 kids.

They only reveal that societies on earth develop through a very complex osmosis a social standard for positive and negative qualifiers for dating. Most men and women stick to those social standards, and some minority of men and women reject those ideals. How large these two groups are depend on how liberal/progressive that society is.

Post your data then, mine is easily googlable. Gen Z men have very small friend circles. Millenials are a little better but its not a huge increase. Gen Alpha have large circles but we don't know if they'll maintain those in adulthood or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 12:54 PM

How many people were raised by young parents who didn't know what they were doing and turned out perfectly fine? Many, many people. None. The people raised by parents that neglected them emotionally, mentally, and physically are all broken ass adults that never truly get their lives completely on straight. What those broken adults sometimes do is wait till their 30s, learn many parenting skills that their parents didn't learn, and then have kids that do get raised into healthier homes.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 11:00 AM

Many of these people have full time career jobs and they still would not be a good responsible parent. Your only claim, which is a sad one for society, is that "it doesn't matter if you're a good or bad parent, just be a parent anyway." That's the mentality that has created the lower class crisis of unwanted and neglected children.

No they don't, statistically you just named two of the worse male (in western countries) groups with very small friendship circles. /r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 10:38 AM

No it's genuinely because modern women have other outlets for the emotional, mental, and physical things we need from other human beings. Modern men have become exclusionary and off-putting to even other men. Men's friend groups have shrunk to literally 0-2 good close friends, and often it's just a coworker that you're super chummy with but never emotionally open up to. Women's friend groups are most often 5+ people deep, and include both males and females in that grouping.

A man can speak for men as a group if he has statistical analysis with a quality dataset on his side. Which we basically do have(with the caveat that yes we need more GLOBAL statistics on these things, right now the stats are very White Anglo-Saxon Protestant-heavy.) Men are way more picky about that sort of thing than is being given credit. Yes men in…

Society is telling both men and women that you are a superstar, you're the main character, you should have it all. It is more likely that men are lying when they say they were blindsided. Every divorce I've been able to witness in real time, every single family member knew about where the arguments and fighting were leading up to. The average decision to finally file for divorce is like 3+ years, with multiple long conversations between then and that decision day. The average woman and man would have discussed the issue with friends, family, and even an attorney or two multiple times over the course of months/years. I'm sure there are a very small percentage of truly oblivious men that do get somewhat blindsided by a woman deciding to divorce, but it's such an unique event that we really shouldn't dwell on it.

Women gamers are about 40% of the overall gaming market. The types of games women gravitate to are admittedly different than males, but this is also slowly changing as emerging popular titles like Fortnite grab the interest of women. More women like dancing then men. One of the complaints from women is the lack of male dancers needed for the hobby. Almost all cultures men like dancing just as much as women. If you were to sit 5 generations of women. And ask each of them what they valued in their men and their husbands. They values will be very different, therefore their values will be different Not really. Women in the 70s were looking for the same things women in 2020s are looking for. The details of what they're looking for have absolutely changed, but the overarching plot points aren't. Women still are looking for a mate that makes them feel desirable, feel 'whole', and compliments them in statu…

If 78% of women are competing for 20% then we would never, ever see anyone having LTRs/marriages from Tinder/bumble/OKC/match.com/etc. Yet we have tens to hundreds of thousands of examples of these over the years. I've been in multiple LTRs from online dating and I'm not a 'chad'. The majority of women doing the online dating thing are looking for another regular dude to fall in love with, not some super man of looks and importance.

Disclaimer I think CustodyXChange is a decent site and have used it in debates before, but it's not perfect and we need to acknowledge that. In reality there should be a federal law or organization that has access to all the data from all public or privately available and make the most comprehensive study on this issue once and for all. The following criteria is pretty terrible. For our research, we looked at the most populous county in each state. If we were unable to confirm the schedule for t…

You cannot be financially ruined by divorce, literally impossible. Even a business owner that didn't have their business set up as a LLC is going to maintain their successful business and pay off their wife via court-backed payment programs instead of a lump sum. IF child support is too high they can demonstrate that easily with their expense reports and income reports, petition the court to lower it and 99% of the time the court will do so if it seems reasonable to do so. The court wants the fa…

Ultimately we need more global studies on all of these factors. That goes for pretty much every topic though, not just dating and human interpersonal relationships. Also, the bias in the family courts is clearly a thing, its just not reflected very well in statistics, partly because the people studying it are biased and didn't wanna pay much attention to the fact that most lawyers advice men to simply not fight for custody exactly because how biased it is. No, most divorce and custody lawyers do…

Parental legal authority does include where the child resides and when. It's not just "the father needs to be included in any major decisions pertaining to the child." Dads that want to physically spend time with their kids are able to do so, with few legal exceptions(my above post goes over those exceptions.) A dad with a weak case still needs to present that case to the judge and opposing counsel. If he fails his children at this step, again what kind of dad are we really talking about. Your j…

The lesbian divorce thing also ignores ages and time of marriage for those couples. Many lesbians rushed to get married when it was legalized that had no damn business getting married. Those women are divorced now, but are likely in much healthier second marriages / relationships. how unacceptable is it for me to laugh at something It depends on the unique subculture you're in. Example: My friends and I are into dark humor, so pretty much anything goes. My family would negatively judge me if I made a holocaust joke, so I don't make those kinds of jokes around them. Some women are gonna be into XYZ humor and others will be into ABC humor. You should just be yourself and associate romantically with women that like your natural humor.

The best way to explain it is: think of your parents, brother/sister, or grandparent you love. Imagine they started becoming a complete fucking bum. Would your love change for them? For some/most women, it wouldn't change. For most men, it would change and more specifically how the men react to that bum family member would greatly change.

Feminists by definition aren't rude to anyone, they're empathetic to all groups. Even rad femmes that might have severe issues with certain aspects of certain groups(cis males) are still far more empathetic and sympathetic to male issues than any other random ideological group. I don't think you know any actual feminists and are only associating women or white women with feminism. Sadly lots of women don't actively practice any form of modern feminism.

If there are predators and murderers out there, no women should be having one night stands or going to a man's place or any risky behavior. Yes. Same goes for men that put them in places with other dangerous men. In an ideal world where people genuinely know and 'obey' the risks to many activities in our material reality, a lot of behaviors and activities we regularly do would cease to exist. We'd have a lot less deaths and injuries due to this cultural change.

Women absolutely care about personality, status, etc. far more than they care about just pure looks when looking for a very long term mate. This is where we also take the word of experiences of divorcees and the public records that do get filed, and see if it matches up. Hint: It does. Women, by and large on average, are worse off for several years after a divorce. If that woman eventually remarries, she usually marries someone less successful.

We delay eating for hours to days at a time if we choose to. Animals cannot do this. We fuck when we choose to, even if we have intense desires to do so, animals cannot do this. We choose to fight or not fight even if we're very angry with someone, animals cannot do this. We can delay pooping and peeing, and locationally pick better locations to do so than just wherever we are at that moment, animals cannot do this. Humans truly are exceptional compared to all other mammals and creatures we've e…

Again people that don't know much about Japanese culture trying to explain it in western ways that don't fit their actual on the ground beliefs. The Pew figure showing Shinto followers at 3 percent of the population is, however, disputed by scholars of Japanese culture who say that an estimated 80 percent (if not more) practice Shintoism in their daily lives alongside Buddhism and sometimes even Christianity. They attribute the low number to the fact that many do not perceive Shinto as fitting i…

Marriage wise, most wives cheat on their husbands. Husbands in Japanese culture(although this is slowly changing) are also encouraged to "cheat" except its not really even considered cheating in an american-sense of that word. Men and women both are allowed to have side pieces.

Because by statistics we know of, humans break the biological paradigm of every single thing that other animals seemingly cannot break. Humans have developed brains that allow for such complex abilities that no other creature can get close to it. We have broken almost every biological need except the very basics, and we're working slowly on breaking those.

Acting professional isn't masking up. We're talking about people vastly changing who they are, what they say, what they do based on solely the other person they're interacting with. Millenials grew up with the mentality I'm talking about. Gen Z grew up with that mentality, maybe even more than we did. Gen Alpha is growing up in similar environment. "Being real / authentic" is super fucking important to at least 3 generations of people.

Traditionally yes, many cultures older males in the village / commune would do a lot of that work for the group. Its only when we get into some agricultural societies where we see a schism and men stop doing many of those things. Even still, men still did certain child rearing and house hold maintenance tasks depending on the culture.

People often still have emotional impacts even when it may be irrational to have them. This is borne out in some divorce statistics we have been able to survey. I think the average 'How long did the #1 problem fester for?" is like multi-years long issues. Money issues especially. The bluepill is simply what works within that era of dating. What worked in the 1950s, 1970s, 1990s, 2010s all have similarities when you analyze the core of what dating was within those eras. The only major thing that's changed is that non-conservative women expect men to be more in tuned with their "feminine" coded traits. Men that refuse this, narrow their dating pool by a lot. Hence TRP men bitching and complaining while being as misogynistic as they can be.

As someone that is 6'3, no they don't. Women are consistent across global cultures about what they're attracted to, with some cultures putting things higher or lower on the list of attractive qualities, but none put height as a 'must' as a group. Individual women of course may have such a dumb preference but they're a small minority of people in the dating scene, and frankly they often don't date for long.

I believe the thrust of the 80/20 rhetoric is that 20% of men are having 80% of the sex or sleeping with 80% of women, if one guy sleeps with 20 women then those 20 women go on to find a virgin man in their 30s to impregnate them, who is seeing "sexual success"? Sexuality in human beings, due to our higher brain functions being able to bend or break many 'biological' imperatives, is roughly a choice brought upon by your upbringing and culture. If we had a super gay culture, the vast majority of people in that culture would be actively gay. It would be the 'norm'. That doesn't mean that we should try to make gay people straight. There's nothing inherently wrong with being gay. If there was a pill to take and it made you 100% hetero, it would be unethical…

If women start approaching a lot more, they'll approach all types of guys. Same with men, that often approach all types of women. The cultural shift will be opening women up to feeling confident to go "Hey you seem cool... lets hang." Something many women don't have that ability to do right now.

First we need to establish the group we're talking about are the minority. Sub 25% minority. Perhaps even sub 10%, depending on which country and how we define the terms we're using. I think when you ask Gen Z men "Would you rather put in the time and effort to get a girlfriend, laying out you need to do XYZ, or spend time on your hobbies?" lots of men are genuinely choosing the hobbies. There's a generational change in men as well as women, that they're seeking pleasure and comfort in 'things' …

I'm biased in this regard and think that men generally take better care of kids if they're in love with their mother. Yeah I think this is a "you" experience thing. My experiences are that men that grow up taking care of their siblings or cousins make for the most attentive dads, and some percentage of guys have a lightbulb moment some point after birth and kindergarten. In general people want cops to do their jobs and prevent crime or quickly solve crimes that happen. Even #abolishthepolice types of people agree with these basic tenets of policing, but disagree with finer details inherent within.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 09:00 PM

It's not really that shitty of a job overall. The main issue with beatcops is that you see the worst day of everyone's life, you don't see the happier moments in people's lives. This can leave you cynical and uncaring. One thing the better police departments do in non-USA countries is make sure to keep cops rotating from those positions to more fruitful positions, and providing good therapy and supervisory tools for cops to stay in the mindset of "We serve the People."

I honestly think every kid needs to have multiple sleepovers a month to see how other parents act around each other(so if you have abusive parents you can see the signs faster), interact with and learn to share with kids in your peer group, explore sexuality and platonic body stuff, etc. Also kids that have sleepovers learn Santa/jesus isn't real a lot faster and that's a net positive for society.

Poly people are much more often using multiple protection layers than monog people. We have limited surveys on this and that's what we've been able to discover so far. Jealousy is fixed by having an open communication around what can and does happen in these extra relationships. Jealousy is not some kind of binary thing in most people. Financial reasons is still the #1 reason for divorce as well. Poly groups usually(but not always) have a much larger ability to increase their income exponentially. Two people work, one person goes to school(trade or college) for higher paying career. They finish that schooling and get high paying job, then another person goes to school for a trade or college, etc. By the time they're 35-40, they can juggle multiple kids, multiple careers, and still afford luxury goods.

Most people are happy with monogamy. Statistically this isn't true. The average global person male or female will have 3 LTRs by the time they die in their 70s, and not due to death of their partner. Acceptable modern poly relationships would be a huge breakthrough for global dating and marriage culture. It would allow everyone to join up into a larger, more powerful economic and lovin…

Humans are extremely malleable on their attractions and interests. The reason gay conversion therapy doesn't work is because there's nothing inherently wrong with being gay. If a person truly believes there is a problem with it, they can suppress those feelings. You have to develop an aversion to it though, and that takes desire to change to do so.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 04:08 PM

The courts would have to figure out how to handle it legally though. Courts already have a handle on it. Whomever signs the documentation for fatherhood is legally on the line for that child. If no one signs, then it falls on the man(biological or not) that is in that child's life as a father-figure. If no man is in that child's life in that context, then it falls to the biological father.

They should go to mainstream psychologists, sociologists, sex therapists(for those with sexual hangups like obsessing about N counts and screaming about hypergamy "Every woman will cheat!"), to people in already happy relationships, to people that are currently dating and can help someone navigate how the dating pool dynamics change from decade to decade. Listen to successful blue pill and purple pill folks. Or hell, listen to successful red pill people. Most of the world are conservatives that …

Based on statistics, dating does lead to marriage(or very long cohabitation) even in western nations. Leftist couples report pretty high happiness ratings, although yes less than hyper traditionalist ones that frankly I believe are either naive or brainwashed into thinking they're truly happy. Statistically they're having 1.5 kids. Yes it would be nicer if this stat was more in the 2-3 kid range than just 1 or 2 kid range it currently is in.

The "men here have autism to a VERY high degree" thing is my only answer for how prevalent this is. Also the fact Fresh & Fit / Whatever type podcasts will act like these women are 100% serious and thus the male viewer trusts the podcast hosts without using their own critical thinking skills to go "Wait this is definitely fucking silly..."

People aren't the same. Just switching a word completely changes meanings, intents, and other cultural aspects of a thing. People can have modern respected preferences and they can have archaic ones that are judged rightfully for being some sort of -ism. You're free to disagree, and we're free to insist on our understanding of how things are in the world and reality.

First step would be to stop believing that women are hypergamous at all. Second thing would be to realize there is no such thing as a "hook up" culture. People hooking up are also still looking for LTRs should the right person appear. Nothing morally wrong with hooking up. If anything it teaches you to vet better for that LTR as you have a multitude of positive and negative experiences to better judge others by.

This seems to me to be the position that lonely men are in online. People will tell them they’re evil misogynist rapists – as the articles above did – no matter what. In what is apparently shocking news to a lot of people, this makes them hurt and angry. If you're taking psychoanalysis you should also know this can make people the opposite as well. They can be more empathetic and understanding. They can liberalize instead of becoming more traditionalist. They can be more open and honest than clo…

I will say this, poly-minded people won't change their behavior at all around their primary partner. So in theory if you're monog but dating a poly person, if they did start sleeping with someone, you probably wouldn't notice from that aspect. It's a mentality thing of how you treat people, and truly poly people have the ability to maintain or even strengthen love of more than 1 person at a time.

The labia thing is a macho thing partially and a r/badwomensanatomy/ thing. Some men literally believed a slutty woman would have larger labia or vagina opening "hotdog down a hallway." Why something is at the top of the list of things people care about is immaterial to the fact they do in fact care about it. Unless your argument is that women never overlook flaws, you can certainly have this conversation without mentioning looks. Women, and men, as large groups do not reject anyone based on one single factor above any others.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/24 12:08 PM

Both. I've had crushes on girls before. Although I would say this goes away with adulthood/maturity? I don't think I've crushed after anyone, even girlfriends, since 18ish years old. I treat a crush as an irrational infatuation with someone.

I agree with many of your points, but you're missing the greater point that should be mentioned: Men can't get away with being autistic because OTHER MEN are extremely negatively judgy towards those guys. Of both groups, there is a sizable amount of women and a tiny fraction of men that are cool with autistic-acting men. Most men and some/large chunk of women are hateful towards autistic people and behaviors.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 01:03 AM

There's also an increase in younger people using this kind of thinking. While I don't mind it when leftists do it, because in general they're correct about their overall point even if I don't like their rhetoric of how they're getting there, I definitely mind it when its a bunch of angry young men that want to take that anger out on society.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 12:48 AM

Women with PCOS usually have an abnormally high sex drive. Go gay and date a FTM dude and have a stupid amount of sex. Women that work out regularly usually have more T or more "usable" body T and are hornier. Women that read lots of smut/erotica or watch tv shows/movies that get them in that mindset are highly sexual. They may still want you to initiate, but once you do, saddle up cowboy.

Also car insurance rates being higher for men ect. You just destroyed the insurance industry in one simple trick. Insurance premiums are based on a complexish formula for risk assessment. Men sadly are riskier drivers. Multiple factors for why men are, but ultimately it's very reasonable to adopt this understanding. Thus, men should be charged more due to this statistical variance.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 12:24 AM

TO be fair there is an additional problem of buy-in with these vehicles. IF every car on the road was say, a Tesla, then the autonomous features would be so fucking amazing that 99% of wrecks and hitting pedestrians would be eliminated over night. Which would cripple the insurance industry(in theory.) I do agree with you that fully fledged sex bots are a long way off. However lonely desperate people will suffice with tech that's quickly being created.

Men in the past didn't have 24/7 access to pictures and videos of surgically enhanced bodies doing depraved stuff. They absolutely did. Men supporting each others mental health, physical health, and actually working towards meeting women interested in them is what I'm talking about. When men start dating women they learn really fast what women like and don't like. Women don't like a man who is a burden. Women love vulnerable men but don't like incompetent men. We know this is false. Some women do like those types of guys, and some hate those types.

Not sure what you mean, exactly. Most women do indeed want exactly that. When we say women control the dating market, we mean that women monopolise both the romantic and sexual relationship and can set any standard for them they want and men have to either accept it, or not date At any time a man can refuse any of these things, and the woman is completely shut down. The sickest, most downtrodden, most abused people don't kill themselves, almost never get help for their issues long term, and live awful lives outside in quiet desperation.

The outliers, are by definition and statistical analysis, rare as we know they are. Very few people in the world are doing absolutely horrible. Most people in most countries are mostly doing good-to-great. This is based on happiness ratings, criminality ratings, moral questionaaires, etc.

The statistics back this up. Most people have multiple very long term relationships that are happy and fruitful/productive for that part of their life. When you ask people even after a single year "why are you with current partner" almost always the first 5 reasons are much more personality/values based than just purely looks based. Looks get you in the door, personality/values keeps you there.

Don't act like men, especially young men, aren't suffering from porn addiction. This is 100% a separate issue. Most people don't suffer from porn addiction, and use porn the way it is intended to be used: watch to enjoy a fantasy to jerk off to and reach climax and then go on with the rest of your day being a productive adult/teen. Don't act like young girls are being coerced/groomed into doing sex work through social media. Lmao women have been doing sex work for roughly 6000 years that we're a…

Secular morality that we've so far theorized to be true and developed axioms or rules for, sex work is absolutely moral. The complex reasoning revolves around the fact that we are primates that enjoy sex, we enjoy being desired for sex, and we enjoy the benefits of sex work(money/time spent/quality of life/etc). Safe, sane, consensual being a backbone to this. Removing any of those three concepts we can reach an immoral stance on an experience a sex worker is having.

Why is she even dating me? She likes you more than other guys at that moment. I have to be perfect; one mistake and she’s gone. Ok from this and previous question, you're showing some limited signs at having attachment disorders. No one is perfect and your partner understands this. She might be my one and only chance ever. If you're not talking about dating experiences in the last 2 years, it's outdated information. No you're not. People are still human and societal expectations to date have not shifted dramatically in 2 years without anyone noticing this or documenting it. n. Women are a lot less open to talking or meeting men irl and especially at bars and clubs. Literally zero data says this. Women and men that do the bar crawl thing are as open as they ever were to meeting people that interest them. Outside of…

Yeah this is pretty normal for Thanksgiving in my family, and my family isn't even a big football fan type family. After dinner most of the guys go to the living room and watch football and talk about whatever, women clean up and talk about whatever. After clean up everyone moves about the house or outside if the weather is nice and form little cliques to talk amongst themselves.

Not a single society on earth, including actual matriarchal societies in Nepal and a few other small enclaves, do women have 100% of the power. In some societies on earth men have legal and practical 75%+ of the power. In western societies historically men had most of the power, however egalitarian policies enacted by men have created much more power sharing. Still, women do not in any way shape or form have the hold on 100% of anything in society.

Also there's a type of conservative father that says shit like this dad. Liberal and progressive dads don't act this way. They support the idea of having a healthy happy boyfriend. When my cousins were little and would talk about girlfriend or boyfriends, my family encouraged them and put out positive language around it. We'd reinforce "your boyfriend that treats you well." while naming off positive traits and behaviors.

Women love sex. They just don't put the same kinds of emphasis on its perpetual attainment as often as men do. However, it does seem higher testosterone plays a significant part in this "uneasy" horniness that most men, most/all FTMS, and some women go through. Men with low libido tend to be in the same 'league' as women with normal or lower libido themselves. And if you have a dick u/Ainsleygz will wanna blow it.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 09:59 PM

This is a genuine problem, but its also partially self created. Guys will swipe on everything and will message everyone. Imagine women didn't get 1000x the amount of messages as men do. Its hard as a man to sweep someone off their feet on the first date. We've been backed into a corner to a certain extent by the way first/second dates are "supposed" to work as a meta sense of it. Sweeping someone you know very well vs random person you don't know well its a huge crap shoot. At the same time, this could also positively change male and female sexuality expression. Women may collectively realize they need to change their behavior to attract human male mates. Men may also realize they need to tone down their hyper sexuality.

As pink pill leaning person, it doesn't bother me at all that someone might be happier with an android rather than a flesh and blood woman, no one else is hurt by that decision at all. What if someone with a crystal ball can look to the future of this society and see it crumble from within due to this single major change in how we form relationships? I think ignoring potential issues with lonelier men obsessing over robotic women(or children for pedos, or animals for bestality proponents) is goi…

Most women make less than their partners , this is a statistical fact that will not budge for a very long time. Most women also don't make "pretty damn good wages". Nothing in the outlook says this will change within our life times, probably not even gen alpha's lifetime.

As an average-looking man I’m finding most divorced moms are even more picky with who they have sex with or date with their limited free time. Just like in our 20s, I think most men will only get to choose between an LTR or nothing. This may be on you, or your dating market specifically. I'm in the South and divorced women were eager beavers for no strings sex, if they had physical chemistry with you. They are also looking for Mr Right too, but that doesn't mean she wants to rope her fuckbuddy i…

More specifically the lower your standards are, the more likely you'll find a compatible person within that grouping of people you know as well as friends-of-friends that people absolutely still introduce people to nowadays. Yes a little bit less statistically than say the 70s, but still a solid 20%+ chunk of people find a partner through another person.

People have a problem overall with excess. Male sexuality is, at times, all about going to extremes. To over indulge. To give into base desires over more higher brain desires. Of course such things will be looked at negatively by a global society that still relies on the crutch of religion and puritan behavior to some degree.

More specifically, younger women have less issues than older women. The idea that "oh he's bi, he'll cheat" is less prevalent in the younger generations. Heck, almost half of younger people are some flavor of LGBT and high 80% are cool with LGBT people/concepts/nonheteronormativity. We're gonna see these "women hate bi men" things drop like flies.

This is pretty accurate in terms of what we know from anthropological records. Patriarchal societies did warfare better and formed alliances better than matriarchal and alternative societies. They took over and subjugated non-patriarchal societies. One interesting aim that I wish schools would spend more time on are non-patriarchal societies that still exist today, and how they evolved independently as possible from other societies.

OP you'll never get everyone to agree with anything like this, especially in the modern time frame. It would heavily depend on the actual scenario we're discussing. Sometimes friendzone is a good thing, sometimes it isn't. In cases where it isn't a good thing, you gotta shoot your shot at a time that your friend is at her most open to it. To know when to time it, you gotta know who she is inside and out and what motivates her.

It's kind of like those "here are three things you want, choose two" scenarios. Good, fast, cheap. You can't have all three just due to the way humans work. I think 'settling' for men and women means making a hard choice of what you truly deeply want, and when you find someone that has those things, you swoop in and snatch them up. You deal with the qualities they don't have. No perfect person exists and ultimately we all "settle" to some degree.

Men can see the subtle signs that another man may be an total loser, and I think women can do it for other women as well. Cross-sex heteros, we have a bit of blinders on when dealing with the opposite sex and we miss obvious red flags. Which further gives us a clear winner for people that have extensive friend groups that can help them navigate pitfalls in the local dating scene.

Do men actually believe that women are actively seeking out potential partners who are bad people? Let’s remove the concept of friend zone. If you are a male friend then you never had a chance anyway. Some women do. My Mom has since my Dad's premature death. In some dating markets you might have trouble on the apps, since most women on the apps usually have at least a 2 year degree or have lucked into white-collar jobs and want a white-collar guy. Most markets though aren't that way and you'll do fine with any long term career.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 11:11 AM

Is horny an universal concept or a concept that could vary meaning between people? It seems to me modern women think about sexual scenarios constantly throughout the day. The same way men do, but much more elaborate. Men tend to get satiated with masturbation or sex. Women tend to want more orgasms and more sexual exploration, they very rarely get 'full' from it. Modern women are, in general, hornier than men.

I think history and tribal studies prove that this most likely is the case, especially with anyone with higher than average testosterone. Rubbing penises/clitorises feels good. Traditionalist parents give birth to future progressives. By and large most liberals are born in to conservative families, arguably that's why when they're teens and adults they switch from right wingism to some flavor of leftism. We extremely rarely see the opposite happen, and when it does happen that liberal-to-rightist is most likely a center-right moderate than hardcore traditionalist. No one is looking for the complementary person to share their life anymore. You missed the glaring complementary person to share things with: Social media friends. We(sub 40 year olds) get far more fulfillment from sharing on social media than they do sharing with a potential wife/husband. Women especially get their fulfillment from their friend groups, and the ones that require physical intimacy occasionally have FWBs that knock that itch out for them on the regular to keep them 'sane.'

Exactly right. When I was on the dating apps, including tinder, I spent a reasonable amount of time per week talking to random women until agreeing on some number of dates. Of those dates, most turned into some sort of fwb or medium term relationship(1+ year.) There are some genuine issues with dating apps, especially the monetization issue where its in the app-makers best interest to keep you perpetually unhappy, since happy people find a partner and never use the app again.
