To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated. Are you really playing the you-don't-know-me schtick? Did you learn this in debate class or something? Do you think anyone gives a shit about your internet sophistry? Do you think internets points are legitimate or something? Did you achieve anything at all by posting this utterly vapid comment? | /r/MensRights | 02/01/14 09:44 PM
To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated.Still the most successful. ;) | /r/MensRights | 02/01/14 05:02 PM
To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated.Back in the day democratic socialist still meant communist, just through "democratic" means. Anyway, if you know what democracy actually stands for and if you read some more of Orwell's writings, you'll notice that by democratic socialism he meant the sort of thing that he witnessed in Spain, which is democratic as opposed to the dictatorial "socialism" of the USSR. I would argue that the Spanish Revolution was the most succesful and genuine libertarian communist revolution in history. | /r/MensRights | 02/01/14 01:21 PM
To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated. You are an MRA. You call feminism a collectivist ideology. It's pretty obvious what you were doing there. | /r/MensRights | 02/01/14 01:18 PM

To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated. It's cute how you try to string your various forms of vulgar bigotry together under one ideological umbrella of anti-collectivism, what ever that is. You're not fooling anyone. | /r/MensRights | 02/01/14 12:04 AM
To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated.Every honest person here knows you are simply spouting ideological bullshit. Class as defined by the role one fulfills within the realm of production is the most useful, logical and consistent because it is based on the relation of production on which our entire society is predicated. Marxism is a materialist philosophy, a quality of materialism being exactly its opposition to anything idealist, or else, subjective and arbitrary. No one has ever put forth a more thorough analysis of capitalism t… | /r/MensRights | 01/01/14 11:31 PM
To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated. This is the sort of pseudo-intellectual bloviation the likes of which I have seldomly seen before. Bravo! | /r/MensRights | 01/01/14 11:18 PM
To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated. The fact that MRA's refuse to acknowledge this betrays the fact that they are just manchildren trying to hide their vulgar sexism behind an ideological facade. | /r/MensRights | 01/01/14 11:14 PM
To the socialists of men's rights. Your representation in r/socialism would be appreciated.right-wing authoritarians Haha. You know parotting talking points taken from Orwell (a communist) only makes you look like a sophomoric fool, right? | /r/MensRights | 01/01/14 11:11 PM

| -4 | Wait, this isn't right...I'm a man. In the first place I just find "men's rights" such a silly fringe issue when looking at the real problems in the world that I feel it is the type of concern specifically catered to by mostly sexists/misogynists. Secondly, if you truly want equality I don't see why there has to be a specific movement for "men's rights" if there is already a movement for gender equality by the name of feminism. I can't imagine anyone but a dishonest sexist/misogynist getting all worked up about a moveme… | /r/MensRights | 18/12/13 06:12 PM |
| -16 | Wait, this isn't right...MRA's are so civil I am convinced!!!1 I don't know why people still wonder why others get upset about reactionary misanthropes dishonestly and/or ignorantly posing as "rights activists". http://i.imgur.com/fuy1Fad.jpg | /r/MensRights | 18/12/13 09:33 AM |
Feminists at Occidental College created an online form to anonymously report rape/sexual assault. You just fill out a form and the person is called into the office on a rape charge. The "victim" never has to prove anything or reveal their identity.Chomsky hates everyone in this sub for being pedantic manchildren doe. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/13 09:20 AM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...I'm pretty sure I know what socialism is, so go ahead either way. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/13 05:58 PM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...If you abandon ideology then you abandon neoliberalism as well. Maybe in some fantasy world or in a semantic way that has no bearing on the material real world at all. I am using the correct definition. Yeah, and freedom means slavery, libertarian means pro-capitalist tyranny and anarchism and capitalism are totally compatible. I'm not saying there is some great conspiracy going on to corrupt language (although there have been very conscious attempts especially in the period right after the seco… | /r/MensRights | 12/10/13 12:45 PM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...Ideology is not something that you consciously addopt and follow. The most ideological people are those who decide on cherry picking random ideas, because that means they choose for the neoliberal baseline. If you want to get people out of the neoliberal "natural" (ideological) state of things you are going to need a plan. It is obvious that we don't agree on the definition of ideology. If you define ideology as a set of dogmatic ideas, then of course I agree with you, but I think this twisting … | /r/MensRights | 12/10/13 12:13 PM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...People aren't actually coerced somehow into thinking a certain way because they hold on to what you describe as an ideology. That's a child's understanding of how political theory and debate works. We obviously disagree on the very definition of "ideology", which is why you come to such a strange conclusion in your last sentence. The ideology I speak of emanates itself in the things that we do but do not think about and in the things we take for granted. The ideology you speak of is simply a set… | /r/MensRights | 12/10/13 12:28 AM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...Some mild form of socialism is probably the reason why your life is so cushiony today that you can whine on the internets all day like a suburban sheltered college boy. Maybe less so if you live in the USA, but then again, living conditions there are pretty shit. Anarchists and commies paid with their blood for measures that actually matter to regular folks like you such as the 8 hour work day. History is filled with martyrs who got us out of the social Darwinist hellhole of the 19th century, mo… | /r/MensRights | 12/10/13 12:12 AM

I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...Explain to me what socialism is then. | /r/MensRights | 11/10/13 11:50 PM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...Nah, the spectrum of acceptable discussion in modern politics is so restrained exactly because of neoliberal ideological hegemony. "Ideology" defined as a dogmatic set of ideas is also a product of ideology itself, and it used to have a different meaning. The shunning of what we now understand to be "ideology" is the epitome of ideology: as if taking for granted the liberal (supposedly non-ideological) point of view is not ideological in itself. | /r/MensRights | 11/10/13 10:41 AM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...This anti-theory tendency in politically illiterate liberal culture today is the epitome of ideology. Besides being a silly semantic word game, it seems to say that we should just go on internalizing false consciousness and accept capitalist hegemony as the natural state of the world while arguing about useless talking points (ideas) all day like deterministic short-sighted fools. | /r/MensRights | 11/10/13 09:58 AM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...You know nothing of political theory and you should try reading up on what socialism means before you spout bullshit on the internets. Socialism has absolutely nothing to do with big government or with making capitalist wage slavery more cushiony for the obedient masses. This stuff should be taught in high school, but of course your education is red-scared and ideological so you get taught all kinds of weird things that don't correspond with reality, history or the rest of the world. Next thing … | /r/MensRights | 11/10/13 09:52 AM
| -2 | I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...Nah, you are mostly a pathetic fool looking for cop-outs. It is obvious that if you were in any way reasonable you wouldn't dismiss a movement for what a few angry extremists say. (they don't even do anything except for post hyperbolic rants on Tumblr) That Roosevelt quote is shit, by the way, and it is not a good analogy at all. Again, you know all of this, but the whiny manchild in you doesn't allow you to be honest. | /r/MensRights | 11/10/13 09:21 AM |
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...You're just making up excuses to blame the entire feminist movement for the behaviour of young girls from Tumblr because you are a dishonest reactionary egotistical counterproductive fool who feels personally offended when someone threatens your childish fantasies about masculinity and gender roles. | /r/MensRights | 10/10/13 10:05 PM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...I AM BUTTHURT BECAUSE I AM PATHETIC ENOUGH TO BE PERSONALLY OFFENDED WHEN MALE HEGEMONY IS QUESTIONED AND I MISUNDERSTAND FEMINISM FOR SHITTY SEMANTIC REASONS AND MY SHITTY MANCHILDISH FANTASIES ABOUT MASCULINE HEROISM ARE BEING QUESTIONED SO CLASS STRUGGLE DOESNT REAL ANYMORE AND I DONT CARE ANYMORE ABOUT THE STRUCTURAL CAPITALIST GENOCIDE OF ALL LIFE ON EARTH AND PLEDGE TO DEVOTE MY OWN LIFE TO BEING A WHINY USELESS REACTIONARY WHO WILL ACCOMPLISH NOTHING OF IMPORTANCE EVER INSTEAD OF TRYING T… | /r/MensRights | 10/10/13 08:11 PM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...Wow. You know absolutely zero things about political theory. It is okay to be ignorant, but don't spin some shitty universal centrist this-is-how-I-see-it-ideology. No one gives a shit what political and historical illiterates think. | /r/MensRights | 10/10/13 07:58 PM
I am no longer a socialist because of feminism...Lol. You can not be serious. | /r/MensRights | 10/10/13 07:55 PM
