First off, I'm not exactly great at this myself so take what I say with a pinch of salt You need to work on yourself first before your going to have fun.. yes, getting rejected is de-moralising and can feel like a kick in the balls but if you are in a good state of mind and are comfortable with yourself then the kick in the balls is not even half as bad

Next time just go and think to yourself that she's lucky to be having the date/whatever with you. That way there's no disappointment and at least you get a day shopping etc out of it if she's a no show

You can plan so that if the person don't show up then you turn your day into a shopping trip or maybe even a nice walk around a busy city centre.
