Think outside the box. I always had a few hundred $ in receivables but still got out of sharing my company

My ex wanted like back pay for years of marriage and all kinds of crazy shit. Once I told she could 100% of the company things turned as she new I wasn’t an ATM machine

Tell her half of 0 is still 0. The company produces her alimony and support so it stays with you 100%. It has no value without you. Tell her you will just open a new one after the divorce and she will be left with a company with no revenue stream. That’s how I stopped that conversation real fast.

Does she contribute to the company or are you the only real worker?

My ex wanted half of my consulting LLC. She wasn’t legally on it. I told her she could have 100% of it as it would be worth nothing without me running it and I could go start another company with a new name and all my clients would move to that. If the company is about your business, it has no value to her.

I stay together for the kids for far too long. It was a huge mistake. Just be clear with her that she initiated it and her lifestyle will probably change. You may want to Google the gray rock and that is how you deal with people like this.

She needs to realize that the lifestyle you provided her with no longer exists. That is a tough pill.

Yes it does. The new world is much different . The kids exist but they are not the same

Go to the gym. Volunteer somewhere and make new friends. The old world goes away. It takes years to be normal

Never agree to anything less than 50/50 shared legal and physical custody. You will regret it

Just requests for more money. She can’t live within her means. Ignore
/r/Divorce_Men30/01/23 10:16 PM

Ignore. I no longer take phone calls or texts from my ex. She can only email me which keeps her in line as she knows I can use those emails in court

My first lawyer told me to take a bad deal. I told him to take a hike, and got better counsel

MA courts are a nightmare. Since you were married a long time she can make a case for alimony. Probably better off to look for new counsel and not let them drive the bus. Tell her to take a deal like $1k a month or you will fight in court forever and you have the means to do it and she doesn’t

That’s what happened to me. All good until the lawyers show up

Mine was a stay at home at her choice not mine. After 20 years she asked me to pay her back salary for those years. Chicks are nuts. Tell her to get a job

Sounds perfect. My youngest is about to goto college and my ex will have nothing left so she can be miserable by herself. She tried to alienate and the kids caught on that I was not the problem . Hope she’s miserable forever. Be strong brother

Mine did. All messed up as she weaponized them to get back at me . Pure evil

Her behavior sounds narcissistic and there is no cure for that. Take care of your kids and stay as far away from your ex as possible. Once they exhibit the symptoms, there’s no going back.

So true. She hates to see me happy for sure. I even mess with her alimony payments for fun and send her cryptic emails with bible passages because she claims to be a good catholic

My ex was a narcissist and my mental health wasn’t good. I had to get out. She turned my kids against me and is all about the money. 3 years later in a healthy relationship and my kids are slowly coming back around. My ex with hopefully be miserable forever

Don’t settled. Start taking him 50/50 now and push for 50/50 legal and physical. Guys give in too easy. I did. Don’t give her an inch

Mine is an alienating narcissist and took it out on the kids. There is only one thing to do with a narcissist - silence

The kids should be fine. Focus on co-parenting with calmness. I recommend therapy for you and the kids. I was anti-therapy my whole life, now i recommend it.
