I know, and the argument that there's a secret cabal of Jews controlling everything is fucking antisemitic shit that I've heard my whole life. I just wanted him to say it. Fuckin piece of shit scumbag (not you, him)

Honestly you have to sit there and wonder, how many people think this way? Ten percent? Twenty? Thirty? Because it seems I'm seeing shit like this more and more, and I have a feeling that in the next 5 years there are going to be way more single moms with no dads in the picture, and a shit ton of "where have all the good men gone" messaging.

Exactly. I wouldn't exactly peg those folks to be mental giants

Ah yes how to tell if someone would make a good husband and father. Do they like partying, clubs, and trendy clothes. Typically very good indicators of how good a man they are. Jesus Christ this woman needs help

Anything to serve a hate fueled narrative. This group needs to be (and largely is) above that. We should all just call them out and move on.

A child by definition is unable to consent as they are not legally of sound mind

Exactly this. It's like when women say "never body shame!" Then turn around and make fun of a guy for being short, bald, etc

Wow this is absolutely brutal and I didn't even know this was a thing. Thanks for sharing your story, and I think most guys are coming to the conclusion that OLD is absolute shit. But for most men there just isn't anything else to do. It seems more and more places are "unacceptable" to approach so the options are dwindling lol. Either way so sorry that happened to you and could you report that group? I'm not on Facebook so idek how it works haha

Oh I get the short man comments a lot, but I've come to love them. I can immediately peg an asshole and that is a pretty sweet ability to have. It's like a superpower

Unsurprising the comments on a fox news article are a bunch of old fucks who think a young man being raped is "something they should enjoy" Jesus fuckin Christ when will these people just die

I'm sorry you had to deal with that but happy you have found a safe and happy community here. We are all brothers and need to look out for one another.

For three that's like arguing "well we shouldn't have abortion because women can just not have sex". Men have legally no say in the birth of their kid, which can alter their lives for the worse significantly.

I really try to be. Not to go on about my whole life story, but I have been raped and assaulted by multiple women when I was younger (many young women seem to think that because I'm shorter in stature assault is acceptable) and have really been fighting for vets as well because I served in the Navy and know how tough it can be. Anyways I am so proud of this community and getting this movement off of the ground has been a true joy to experience. Nobody was there for me but I'll be damned if that …

It isn't. It's virtue signaling social media bs so that young women can feel better about themselves for shitting all over short men irl

It absolutely was patronizing, and as a shord dude, a bit annoying. I don't want to be singled out as the "short king" among a group of men. I just want to be seen as an equal. It's demoralizing

This crap is getting out of hand. They use fake "science" to back up their claims, don't delve into causes for those bogus claims, and don't mention the peer reviewed studies that go directly against their claims.

I personally dislike it because "short" is a qualifier. It's like if I saw an overweight woman and said "yes! Fat Queen!". It's implied that you are a king in spite of you being short, and implies that being short is inherently worse, when it isn't

Also, as my username implies I live in MA, and this story has not been on the news. Like, at all

This is a joke right? If a man shot his girlfriend repeatedly in the face and body, his face would be plastered on every news site locally and all over local news. His bail would likely be that 500k number. Statistics prove that women get weaker sentences for the same crimes by significant margins. How come there's no pic of her by the way? Could it be that the press doesn't want to "defame a lovely lady". Give me a break

The fact that this is in the UK explains it all. The birthplace of the Pussy Pass

Could it possibly just be a bias you have against short men? Studies consistently show that when a tall man and short man say the same thing, the tall man's statement is perceived as masculine while the short man's statement is perceived as compensating. There's a lot of data on this that I think you should look into. A good way of seeing if you have a bias is to trade out "short" with any other descriptor and see how it sounds. Not great.

Hey man, 5'5" dude here on a good day haha, still no box of chocolates. The comradery among short men is strong. We will overcome

Oh I know some women believe that, because I (5'6") have been told "why don't you just go to the gym and grow to 6 feet, then you'd be so much more attractive" HUH

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
