So It's okay to pay half of the popultion less less because the employers (who for some reason seem to belong to the other half) "believe" they are less productive. Sounds unfair. I think women are atleast as productive as men and are hindered in their careers by the half of the population that want them to be less productive and more house wives.

I'm afraid you are right. The great mass will probably disslike this. But I think it's better than printing thousands of posters with no info.

What beliefs? That there is inequality between the genders? What actions? burning money? I think people "burn" money extremely irresponsibly all the time. Some parties like to buy posters for millions.

Their other option would be buying posters for the money, wich would only litter sweden, hardly be noticed. And: Why should the $13,000 that was used to bring up the question of wagegaps and gender inequality be used for charity. Why not the $1.000.000 the bigger parties spend on their posters or why not the money people spend on shit they don't need? I think this was …

I guess this quote is not trying to validate the paygap? Because it does not. The paygap is also there if you look at men and women doing equal work. And that women are underrepresented in occupations with high salaries, Because women have disproportionately worked in occupations with relatively low wages (e.g., teachers, nurses, secretaries, retail sales clerks) and men have disproportionately worked in occupations with comparatively high wages (e.g., executives, managers, doctors, lawyers, eng…

The two men gave the money to Schyman for this purpose. Their PR-company got lots of PR, and so did Schyman. It's just smart. That the money was given by men could serve a symbolic purpose. Now those two men lost what women loose every minute. But I think it's irrelevant. They get money from different sources as all parties do.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
