How do you all feel about this post? c/ : educating.misogynists via IGWell, they certainly don't have the flair that The Tinmen have for getting their point across. | /r/MensRights | 20/02/23 11:26 AM
How do I quickly record video that can not be deleted, if I am in danger? If you're on android you can add a file called ".nomedia" to any folder to stop its contents showing up to other apps. If you add it to the folder your camera stores it files to none of them will show up in your gallery or any other apps. Alternately you could stream it privately to a YouTube account so it's stored externally. That option might work the best as YouTube is available on all devices. | /r/MensRights | 09/02/23 11:32 PM

AskMen post asking why a certain female mod is locking and deleting posts gets locked.I always thought it was Lather, Rinse and Repeat in that order. | 3 | Gender double standards in NHS coverage of cosmetic surgeryI remember when I started losing my hair at 21 it sent me into a deep depression for years. Totally ruined my confidence and body image which I can honestly say never returned for me. I went to my doctor pleading for a prescription to finestaride or some other hair loss treatment that wasn't over-the-counter. She just flat out refused and told me to just get a haircut instead. It wasn't based on any of the medical risks of the medication, her decision was totally based on that she didn't see it … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/10/21 01:38 PM
I met a girl on a night out, in an alley way, crying because her friends left her alone. We get to talking and she sticks with me, calms down. I ask her out for a few drinks 2 weeks later, we meet up. she ends up getting so rocked, drunk. and is in tears again over, literally Nothing...God, its seriously stuff like this that keeps me documenting almost every interaction I have with people and specifically not wanting to be alone with anyone bar my partner and parents anymore. Really scary stuff. | /r/MensRights | 19/08/21 01:02 PM

Men’s higher suicide rates not linked to their unwillingness to seek help but to obstacles in healthcare accessI don't mean to take away from your sentiment because you're absolutely right, but Robin Williams didn't kill himself due to depression but because of his struggles with Lewy Body Dementia. | /r/MensRights | 30/05/21 03:16 PM
Men’s higher suicide rates not linked to their unwillingness to seek help but to obstacles in healthcare accessThat's actually it. I've had female friends say the same thing. Maybe in more uncouth ways, though. But the consensus I've honestly found is that when men discuss their problems with women its seen as a burden to the woman and that men have basically no right to talk to them about any problems. I've had former female friends make awful comments about me behind my back whenever I spoke to them about any of my issues. Or, alternatively, my issues just become gossip fodder that I'll then hear back … | /r/MensRights | 30/05/21 03:13 PM
If I'm perfectly honest this feels pointless...Many grains of sand make a desert, many drops of water form an ocean. Its not about one massive change all at once, it's about the little things and the small day-to-day things you can do to change public perception. Personally, whenever talking to people, if a statistic/fact/perception comes up that I know is false, I just point that out. If I know it off hand, will tell them the actual correct information. Otherwise, I'll encourage them to look it up or if the situation allows, I'll look it up… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 22/04/21 11:11 AM
AN update on the reddit admins being fine with abuse directed at men.Oh unapologetically pro-IRA, which is funny as they usually know little to do with the troubles, or any Irish history for that matter. They're also incredibly loose with the links with Scotland/Wales and consider them to be interchangeable with Ireland, which is funny when factoring in Irish/British relations throughout history. I've seen so many Plastic Paddies be like "Fight the occupation we fighting paddies will never surrender to da Brits or be slaves" Like, calm down there Eugene. You're f… | /r/MensRights | 07/04/21 10:57 PM
AN update on the reddit admins being fine with abuse directed at men.I'm in a few FB groups that are full of plastic paddies and their behaviour is despicable. They embody, encourage and perpetuate every single stereotype that Ireland as a society has tried to throw off for decades while holding a very tenuous link to Ireland. I'd nearly say the more tenuous link to Irish ancestory the more aggressive and ignorant the person and their incorrect Irish-culture based beliefs The amount of arguments I've foolishly gotten into with these people who can't seem to get o… | /r/MensRights | 07/04/21 10:17 PM
AN update on the reddit admins being fine with abuse directed at men.Hello fellow Irish person. I too hate Plastic Paddies. Someone has Irish heritage? Sweet. Good for them. But no, its not a crutch or an excuse for bad behaviour. | /r/MensRights | 07/04/21 04:57 PM
| -6 | AN update on the reddit admins being fine with abuse directed at men.Irish people have no claim to their own heritage because there's more Plastic Paddies out there than actual Irish people? Yeah, you can get t'fuck with that one, lad. | /r/MensRights | 07/04/21 04:53 PM |
| -25 | AN update on the reddit admins being fine with abuse directed at men.The Irish were never slaves. We were indentured servants, sure, but not slaves. We as a nation are actually very tired of people trying to use our history and culture as an arguing point and as an example in discussions when it's just flat out not true. There's honestly dozens of accredited books and research debunking this myth and as an Irish person I respectfully ask you to not perpetuate this false narrative. | /r/MensRights | 07/04/21 01:58 PM |

TIL that in 2013, "Internet sleuths" wrongly accused Pablo Vergara of the mysterious death of Elisa Lam. He became a victim of doxing, cyber-bullying, and cancel culture. | 3 | Imagine looking through someone fucking phone without permissionThe same people who will make it their mission to proclaim that sex work is real work and that porn is normal are the same people who will have a problem with it when their significant other or loved one exercises those opinions. For the record I do think that porn is normal and (some) sex work is work, but its not my life's mission to proclaim it from the rooftops like the eternally offended. | /r/PussyPass | 05/02/21 01:51 AM
'Men are being belittled, slagged-off and being told that they are useless': Male victims of domestic abuseAs an Irishman, I will say that I'm quite proud that my countries latest TV/radio/print campaign for domestic abuse victims features male victims. It's nice to see that, at least to the public, my country is trying to do something to make people aware that 40% of DV victims are male and often suffer in silence. https://youtu.be/Min3O_D_wM4 Also, same goes for sexual harassment. Male victims are also highlighted in the latest campaign. https://youtu.be/KolxydttsWI The majority of the campaigns fo… | /r/MensRights | 30/01/21 09:03 PM

Another example of how the “body positivity” movement never was and never will be for menHonestly, this is the decision every man needs to make. Its important to care about these issues, but don't let it get in the way of actually improving yourself. After years of walking around being angry at everyone and everything and holding on to so much stress it got to the point where it was affecting me physically so much that I had to stop and made a choice like you did. Good for you man. | /r/MensRights | 29/08/20 12:24 PM
1 Japanese school girl gets raped by men from the navy who're shore leave which results in the navy going Crraazzyy. Nine Afghan school boys raped by a Afghan national & a few of his buddies on US Marine base, and the Marine chain of command shrugs their shoulders.I have. Same goes for violent video games. In a nutshell: something something tools of patriarchy, something something male fantasy, something something normalises rape culture etc. | /r/MensRights | 15/04/20 03:49 PM

International Men's Day is Nov 19.60% female I can only imagine. I think the point isn't so much that one side has more than the other but that 40% while less than half is still a significant number and is generally ignored or dismissed. | /r/MensRights | 12/11/18 05:27 PM
