Had to block it. It got old fast.

Present the situation to her as if the roles were reversed: If you had hit her to make her stop doing something, then she would be very upset with you, just as you are with her. Explain to her how hitting you isn't acceptable, and if she still isn't getting it simply state "If you do that again, we're done. That's how much it upsets me." Honestly, it sounds like this won't really get through to her. She's 20, young, and immature. Her mindset is much like that of a younger girl, and like some you…

Sorry man, but this doesn't go here. Might as well try an x-post to r/funny!

Remorse and shame are two different feelings. Shame is feeling guilt perpetuated from others; remorse is feeling guilty about one's previous actions or thoughts brought on by oneself.

I'd definitely be down! I must admit: my game is a bit rusty, and I need to get back on the horn with learning a couple tricks/techniques, but I'd definitely want to at least start a place where we can get together and go out and then learn from each other!

Oh man, Seattle Lair brings me back! Back in high school I discovered The Game, and then of course I went online to find a Seattle Lair, and low and behold there was one. I sign up for the forum, ask if anyone could "be my tutor" (I was just a junior, so day game only), and meet a couple guys through there that helped me out. Sadly though a huge argument lasted on the forums between one of the owners/admins and a lot of the community. I forgot what the initial incident was about, but it ended wi…

It is my belief (which I consider factual based on my research) that all men SHOULD be castrated. That is the exact moment where I stopped reading.

You know... I really don't want this type of content in Seddit. It's not particularly helpful to others in the way it's communicated, it seems like more a "funny" type of thing (which is alright, but I don't go to Seddit to see /r/AdviceAnimals content), and doesn't really do anything to help this subreddit. Overall, while I agree with the message, I like the way this community has stayed away from these types of posts, and I think we should continue in that trend.

Hey, it's easy to take that stance on these types of subjects, but it's another thing to try to get things to change. I suggest instead of saying what we already know (i.e. "There is no fair in life"), you try to add things to the discussion that we do not know, and can further our knowledge of things we need to know.

This is a legitimate point. I mean, even as a bigger guy who doesn't exactly put up the big numbers I use to, I get a little intimidated by the weight room if I think someone might judge me for putting up weights they they "could do no problem" (that sentence would most likely be followed by a "bro"). However, how they intended to fix this problem wasn't the right answer, and if I was a student at UO I would raise hell in order to get equal rights for men as well (an hour just for men in that ex…

I agree. I would ask for an equal hour for men as well, as it would only be fair. Not to be a dick though, I think it would simply have to be done in order to say "Hey, we get you want your own time. That's fine, have it, but we need some time too then. Just so we're equal."

Agreed. In truth, this has nothing to do with Men's Rights. Instead, it's a big /r/circlejerk over "why women are bad, go dads!" This is the type of shit that guys us a bad name, Men's Rights. This type of article doesn't further our cause; instead it inhibits people from joining us and instead leads them to believe they're right in calling us "chauvinistic, shallow, anti-women." Knock this type of shit off, Men's Rights. I get it, karma is great, but these articles don't help; they hinder. Edit…

Ah, see I thought you were attacking the original post, not the comments (don't really read much of those on this subreddit, you can understand why at times). Apologies sir.

No one said him being old was a bad thing. The post his only "calling him out about being old" because it is interesting hearing an older mans' opinion on this subject. Calm down dude. No need to get your panties in a bunch. Edit: Hey, everyone: Calm down. Look two comments below. Simple misunderstanding is all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
