How are we sexist?

FDS just writes down a lot of standards that hot women (with self esteem) have because that’s how they’ve been treated by men in the past. Most of my friends have partners like this, it’s not a huge requirement.

Can you be more specific about what his mother does?

Intimimissi has really lovely stuff- I just bought $600 worth of stuff from there! (Bras & matching underwear, silk & lace PJ sets). They’re in Italy & France, but I think they ship to most other countries.

Straight people can miss exes is the same way bi people can, it isn’t exclusive that bi people sometimes miss something else?

For context I’m at uni studying a ‘good’ degree and I’m quite/relatively intelligent (I don’t mean to brag but I think it’s important as a contextual note), but there’s just such a difference when you date people who’ve actually been in the workforce, travelled overseas alone numerous times, live outside of home. Sometimes we make conversation about highschool experiences and it’s awkward because it was 3 years ago for me, and 13 years ago for them!

I think about leaving this sub when I hear what some men write! Obviously women can be bad, but some of the men just sound like bitter virgins with 0 experience, blaming it on the group they want to attract- not an attractive quality at alll.

As someone who’s in their very early twenties (casually) dating thirty year olds (29-32 age range) there’s such a difference in maturity and life experience I don’t think it would be every man’s ideal to date someone so young. Pure physical attractiveness isn’t everything, and even if it was it certainly doesn’t disappear at 30 unless the woman is overweight or obese/didn’t take care of their skin, doesn’t care about beauty, etc

Women can always have sex- but in reality sex doesn’t give a lot to women when you weigh up the cost/benefit analysis of STDs and pregnancy, and the pretty low likelihood of finishing. Women (most of the time) want someone they feel emotionally connected to, can have great sex with (usually only because you learn each other’s bodies), and feel secure in. That is a lot harder to find, especially if you’ve adjusted your ‘type’ to above your league from casual sex (obviously without realising).

How the hell does he expect to have a wife not work when he’s not a provider? Many men find female doctors attractive- men who are in finance, law, tech, a specialist, etc and want intellectual conversations. If I were you I would continue with medicine and find someone who values you! You sound like you’re feminine and enjoy domestic work, which is what turns a lot of guys off career women so… find someone better for you! You’ve got this :)

I think piercings/tattoos aren’t indicative of a HVW, so I wouldn’t get them, regardless of whether my partner liked them on me or not. I think men/your man are usually pretty good at judging what makes me attractive, and if that is what I see as my purpose (which i do, and so does this forum) then I would listen to him. If I want to be creative I’ll do a painting or something, not make myself less attractive through a piercing or tattoo! If you want to debate whether having tattoos/piercings ma…

I would recommend making sure to be genuinely nice/sweet at the end- walk her to her Uber or however she’s getting home, and then (kiss or no kiss) text her 10 minutes later maybe making a joke of something you said or checking whether she got home safe. When she replies, tell her you had fun and want to see her again, etc. The being ‘nice’ part is mandatory if you want to make her feel safe, secure & it feels less pushy than just wanting to go on another date.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
