I think it’s a choice for everyone. Men could have plenty of sex while they’re single, they may have to do more to get it but, it’s not impossible. No one is forcing sexlessness upon men, they just aren’t exploring their options.

And you don’t think that the whole “two kinds of singles” rule applies to women as well? People forget that women are busy doing other things and aren’t always worried about getting laid or having sex. I don’t think casual sex is appealing to most women due to the fact that men tend not to care about our pleasure. Heck, even in relationships the woman’s pleasure is not as valued.

Your first point makes the most sense - Some men claim to want “wifey material” but, they are not always mature enough to actually respect a woman who is more submissive. I don’t like to play games even though most people my age do. When a guys actions don’t align with what they’re saying, I bring it up and if I know they’re lying or they get combative I simply end it.

This is why I like to talk about hobbies and joy. While the man I’m talking to may not care about trees, or birds, or running. I like to talk about things that make me joyful. It gives me some feminine wonder, and he doesn’t need to care. But I’m not talking about executive meetings, Kylie Jenner, or debt. I’m talking about joy.
