No win is because you will pay more than a fair share. Child support is for the child, not mortgage, a new car, clothes for her, her healthcare, etc. It is for the child. If you are providing healthcare insurance, it should be less. Dental, clothes, sports or extra activities, etc. The way to look at it. What would the Social security money for your kids if you die today? That is what you should pay in child support and alimony.

Family law is there to make lawyers rich. There are laws to protect women, even most states state that there is no preference given. If do why does the mother get the kids 90% of the time? Women say they want to do it by themselves, but want max child support, and alimony. They then get on state welfare programs because they don't have to report it as income. Courts look at potential income. As if she can work full time. If she has a degree, type of job she currently working, certification, etc, the earning potential is higher. Typically will cost more in legal fees then what it will be worth for her to fight it. But many judges don't look at that aspect in the initial judgement and that is the only way I know men get to pay less for child support when they take back to the courts. No win and to many probabilities in your situation. I am in your situation as stbxw has threaten to divorce throughout the 15 years and now she won't budge. Probably because we have a house now and she will get the house, the kids, etc because that is family law. I just wonder why I kept trying after all these years.
