False. I said immediately, it's on me to get away or curse the guy out. I'd rather do that. I missed that, you did.

The ego stroke is expecting your man to beat someone up for you instead of calling the cops. Calling the cops doesnt do shit What fucking world are you living in, dealing with SA is most of their job.

False. Which you just proved, by saying you would escalate the situation (in a serious way) instead of resolving the situation. So, they set the rules, and then you changed the rules and made them more violent.

No thank you. I’d like my healthcare completely decoupled from my job, especially mental health care

Well thats not true. Having a child from cheating generally does mean people come after his resources.

TBH that you're professor might be right, body positivity is so gendered you wouldn't have time to fit it in

You're missing the point. For women, body shaming is like an unexpected slap in the face. "How dare you!?" For men, body shaming is an expected slap in the face. To even consider the slap in the face wrong is often socially unacceptable.

and how did you get comfortable with it?

Alright, look, because you seem to just be tiptoeing around with "well, i want to include men..." Here's the real deal: Men are body shamed constantly from the moment of birth. It's socially expected and encouraged, and the entire body positivity movement is a slap in the face of the extreme sexism of feminism and many progressive movements in general. Here's a fun stat for your documentary: How many men does your country decide don't have good enough looking genitals when they're born and chop …

lmfao you think men can even sit alone quietly without being judged? please

The use of body shaming to give 'sexually abusing children' a higher priority than 'bodily autonomy' or 'not sexually abusing children' ...but that would probably be "too much" for them, too.
/r/MensRights17/02/22 06:11 PM

The point is it doesn't matter whether your lecturer thinks it's "too much", put it in anyway if you think it is important. Is this your documentary, or your Lecturers? They might mark things down due to their own sexism, but that isn't worth compromising your own work over. I mean, seriously, what part is too much? How long is the documentary? is 60 seconds of "Body shaming is commonly thought of as just weight, or just women, but body shaming affects men in these ways too! <lists ways>" and th…

huh "I want to focus on men but only in the ways mostly women care about, and ignore the body shaming issues that primarily affect men, because that would be 'too much'"

Or the same person on alts. It's clearly a throwaway just for trolling this sub, they don't respond to anything else or maintain the signals on the account that would indicate it's a real person. My money is on the same bitter FDS cult member keeping a bunch of accounts going because it makes them feel important and special, like they're doing something, "sticking it to the patriarchy" by being an asshole or something.

Failed, and quickly, with many words of "no you!" If you were ever in any doubt, this is why men can't stand you.

From my experience of being around men, friends with them etc they dont face many problems based on their gender. And how would you know, if they get an hour lecture about how women totally have it worse, and if they don't then they do in everyday life, because it's whatever you decided to pull out of your ass that day to feel like you were 'right' in the conversation. In what world would they feel comfortable opening up to a feminist who will immediately dismiss and attack what they're saying j…

And fortunately for men, a lot of women aren't feminists, they're egalitarian

Lol, thats right, as a testament to /r/mensrights not being afraid of being challenged, unlike any and every feminist sub, because the people here generally give a shit about being actually right, and not just "winning" an argument. Congrats on proving our point!

Can't have that, too many might realize they were mutilated to control their sexuality as children
/r/MensRights13/01/22 09:10 PM
22

Well, yeah. They need men focused on fighting, competing, and working for their approval. If men aren't doing that, they lose a great deal of personal power both in their own lives and over men. Therefor, boys get groomed for abuse and exploitation, and men are demonized for caring about their own sexuality or for failing to live up to the (impossible) standards of whoever is using the slur

Yes, dude, you're the brainwashed one. Something coming out of a textbook or a PhD professor or a prestigious university doesn't mean it cant be sexist nonsense. In fact, given how university textbook publishing works, it's more likely to be full of political bullshit

I know you really want some deep, meaningful answer. I’m sorry there isn’t one. The difference between experimental data on compassion and the public perception of how much women as a group have is down to how much we all wish to believe they are, themselves included, no matter how true it is or not. It’s something they like to hear about themselves.
/r/MensRights12/01/22 04:59 AM
11

Yeah the problem in their logic is they don’t consider men… at all. Like they were talking to a computer, or some other sexless thing. ‘My ATM/vibrator doesn’t have sex or feelings, it’s just a machine! Why would sex positivity apply to that unless it served a woman’s needs in some way?’
/r/MensRights09/01/22 04:18 PM

Which i guess you're claiming to be? I don't believe such a woman exists. I know too many men that were straight up abandoned as soon as shit got tough, and 0 women who stuck with it so far

... If we're arguing over politics (or really anything) and you bring up something unrelated someone was vulnerable about ("hur hur, you're just a scared pussy cuz your mom died, crybaby) you deserve that broken nose.
/r/MensRights07/01/22 07:18 PM

Just about every IT team cares more about what you can do over who you are. You could be a pink haired vocal man hater and no one will generally give a shit if you get work done and pull your weight. ...problem is the pulling weight part
/r/MensRights07/01/22 05:30 PM

Yup its "What can I use out of this, and if there's enough i'll just judge them unworthy of me right now" It's not men who are stereotyped as bringing up all your emotional shit at the drop of a hat to win an argument. That's (among men) considered a 'dick move' and worth a fist fight, but (surprise) the gender protected from that fist fight pull this shit all the time.
/r/MensRights07/01/22 04:59 PM

And do you then gatekeep those feelings? If a man starts bawling over spilt milk are you all "This is a safe space, but not that safe!" like every one of your sisters i've ever met or do you extend the same consideration you would a woman and realize there might be something more going on. You're seriously going to tell us this isn't a common problem among women?
/r/MensRights07/01/22 04:57 PM

Or MTGOW and cut every shitbag who treats your feelings like this out of your life. Lonely, but eventually if enough of us do it society will get it through their thick heads that the behavior is unacceptable.
/r/MensRights07/01/22 04:53 PM

Yes women have the same opportunity not to be a shitty person a man does. Difference is we beat/shame/genitally mutilate men to force them to be not shitty, and we don't do the same for women. Point out a time a woman faced consequences for being a shitty person to a man who showed vulnerability, and we'll shut up about it

Even people writing about the harm won't blame her directly. "To our great detriment, because of the charges against her, the world may have an answer: They fake it. And now it’ll be that much harder for the rest of us to make it” - Ann Friedman from the rolling stone article posted in another comment because of the charges against her not because of what she did, that she lied

probably should, if they need abuse to keep it running

Even if it does have a reason, that doesn't mean the abuse isn't happening. These rules are used to keep discussions away from criticizing anything about the sub, its mods, or women in general. If the conversation ever moves away from "men bad, womyn good" you'll see the ban hammer come out. Quite a fun passtime seeing how trigger happy they get with it
/r/MensRights03/01/22 06:16 PM

Thats why they use ambiguous terms like "men" instead of "all men" or "some men", so they can switch between whichever interpretation is most beneficial at the time. However, when it's written into law or applied to men, it is very much "all men" in both intent and wording

Which means the same thing that happened to tumblr, will happen to reddit. It's not 90% of the time i spend on the site, but i guarantee 90% of the content is porn whats funny to me is how a bunch of monkeys finding new tech to monkey around somehow shocks people

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
