It's ridiculous that OP labeled this as for "Debate" when it's abundantly clear from the manner in which his "arguments" are worded that debating his viewpoint is the very last thing on the planet that he actively desires to do. Anyone attempting to "debate" his points is stuck on a pile of shifting sands while trying to justify and/or prove OP's double negative. Therefore, the Mods should delete this post

That's really what it comes down to, unfortunately. It's either all our fault if there's something an individual woman finds difficult about a single man, or if there's something internally that we don't want complicated by a new relationship. But you know this already, & I hate that we both speak truth and get shamed for the simple doing of it just because any given reader can't handle the reality of women having thoughts and emotions those readers don't directly control.

This is why men who have prejudiced themselves against women - as a whole - will never understand what we, as individuals with our own drives, preferences, and goals, genuinely want. We get asked what we like/dislike. We respond truthfully, as adult individuals. We get shamed and invalidated, almost immediately.

It's why my husband and I refer to each other more often as "boyfriend & girlfriend" than "husband and wife," as the bond of love is more important to us than both having a qualified avenue of insurance, which was an overwhelming necessity at the time I needed reconstructive spinal surgery.

My ideal at that age was someone who had a dimpled smile that lit up his/her entire being, was compassionate to people especially those in service industries, who liked being in band & or journalism, enjoyed both reading and gaming, had a creative streak and a wicked sense of humor, would be understanding when Aunt Flo made monthly life unbearable, who wouldn't play head games or make me feel even more embarrassed about having multiple medical issues, who wouldn't give me hassles about being goo…

You contradict yourself repeatedly, all over this rage-bait thread of yours.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 07:08 AM

May you reap the future you deserve, and may those women and children drain away all worldly gain there might ever come to your name, as they will each deserve ever so much better than a life with someone who doesn't give two shakes of a rat's arse about their happiness and well-being. Also, you're clearly breaking the rules of the sub - as you posted a diatribe and have demonstrated zero willingness to consider other perspectives.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 07:03 AM

Hella-effort at that, and we aren't always lucky to have a caring, sharing, reality-engaged partner. I can only pray that OP never procreates - regardless of his veracities, velocities, &/or voracities - as any children from a coupling with him will never have a family that is whole in both live and respect.

🙄 Yep, nothing hard or dangerous about it! 🙄 It's not like I hemorrhaged from a placental abruption and was told after the fact they almost didn't get me back. 🙄 Or the pregnancy I delivered at 29 weeks when 17, on the side of the road with paramedics stopping in time to catch him then on the way to the ER with us both - and the baby was tiny little waxy-bluish things., and the baby was in the NICU for four months. 🙄 Or my other three successful babies - all born early because my body will not s…

Men want women to "take care of our bodies" and "work on ourselves" if we weren't born a 9.5, and get dolled up for The Man and "look hot enough" to not be shamed for being human with natural human features. It's time we asked the same of the men who want to date us. Take better care of yourselves, and show some effort. If men won't do the minimum that is expected from women, then why shouldn't those men be struck from our dance card for failing the exact same standard..?

For me... A bit of it is in what we now call micro-tics or micro expressions. When you live with an abuser, you come to quickly realize what the purposeful affect-flattened glare followed by words that could be laughed off at any other time. It's how a man - a stranger at that - commented on my body as if he had a right to it just because he told me how it made his dick hard, and how hed like to fuck that out of me. It's in the way you're subtly herded to a position in a room with no point of eg…

But we won't be, because we'll be dating those specific men who meet our individual standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/25 07:14 PM

No one said that a few select people aren't pushing the boundary of "unreasonable." It goes both ways. People shouldn't reflexively lump all men and boys into one basket. || EQUALS || People shouldn't reflexively lump all women and girls into one basket. With the caveat, "though societal stereotypes exist, and should be heeded, for legitimate reasons of personal safety/sanity" applied equally to both sides of that cultural equation.

For the same reason "desperate" men don't just give up and "go gay" to get laid. That isn't how attraction works, and it's farcically disingenuous to pretend so, and then act here like it is.

What is one thing we think might help? If men would just finally stop trying to put words in our collective mouths. 🤨🙄 The f'ng nerve of it all!

Just how rarely sex figures into the equation for us. The literal hellish reality of female biology coupled with the current misunderstanding of what gender means to each of us, internally. The sheer and utter ridiculousness of incel theory, as it wildly misattributes and poorly portrays our hardly generalized thoughts, drives, and desires. That if you truly hope to get inside a woman's thoughts/heart - you need to become her actual for real friend, with zero strings & or sexty-times expectation…

It is not "just like any other job," though. It is one of the most risky and dangerous professions on the planet when it comes to the mental/emotional health & long-term safety of sex workers. And that's without bringing drug culture, assault and battery, nonconsensual sexual encounters, and human trafficking into the conversation.

It isn't a fact, though; it's a flawed circular premise, at best. There are a plethora of factors that account for and go into the many varied results for those tired, old, static-choice "pull" attempts, both positive and negative in nature, from earliest preparation to post-interaction results. If any individual who wants sex, does whatever it is they need to do to put their best foot forward: shit / shower / shave / moisturize and sunblock / deodorize and pre-de-prespire / quick snack (to fend…

Then just say the actual word "incel," for heavens sake. The cornerstones of good debate are reliable data, logic-based process, and effective communication. Pussy-footing and other "soft language" have zero place within that base. For instance: >Sounds like a good question and the ethics of that is in debate. So.. as you've replied, it should be taken that you acknowledge my question as a valid avenue of inquiry, and that you're in complete agreement with my summation of the apparent insincere …

"inkwell"...? . EDIT, to add: From your responses to others, your post doesn't sound so much like a general open-ended debate question, but rather that you want to prove a point to someone offline and, you're hoping to use the membership of this sub as validation of your scientifically incorrect premise, as expanded upon by you in response to Comments by others here on this thread. Life brings difficulty for virtually everyone on the planet, regardless of their gender/sex. There's no monopoly on those difficult experiences. Everyone has problems; everyone deserves help for those problems, regardless of income, intelligence, or means. Too many people face extreme dangers. Too many people are at their wits end. Too many people feel there is no hope left. It isn't a competition. People who approach casual/professional/social interactions with that mindset miss every single as…

CONVENTIONALLY ATTRACTIVE women's ability to attract men anywhere they are gives them way more freedom to do and live wherever they want. There ya go, OP.. fixed that for ya. It still isn't truly and fully accurate, but you're at least in the same state as the ballpark now

These are, each, quite plausible, yet equally distinct, situations: It is possible to have horrific romantic entanglements with a man in your life who is also an insufficient male role model. It is possible to have a romantic entanglement with a good man in your life who is also an insufficient male role model. Pure curiosity: Would you be equally concerned if her (hypothetical) pregnancy were caused by birth control failure - whether female-only, male-only, or both?

Heart had two weeks at #2 on the Billboard Top 100 charts with that premise, and that was a few decades back. I'm sure she's perfectly capable of managing a single-mama pregnancy, just as I'm sure anyone in her situation will source the assistance she needs for herself and her children at the time it's needed. If that's not the case, there's plenty can be done to support at-risk children when that support becomes needed. So.... At this time, there's less-than-zero sense, in bemoaning the woman's…

Your question does seem quite out-of-step with modern principles on what does and does not constitute a healthy family dynamic at this juncture in our country's civil and personal rights history. (USA) It does, indeed, seem crazy to be jumping to snap judgments about another adult's life and future plans - of which you are, if assumptions from your posted words are correct, not a daily integral part. You don't mention knowing her future plans where her future child and any potential role models …

We're taught from a very early age to be nice to everyone else regardless of their ages or gender, that it's rude to say "no" about most anything, and that making others happy is more important than our own safety, intelligence, and happiness.

What is "OP's point?" That it is soul-drainingly tedious in the extreme to be berated for not wanting to discuss the same topic over and over again - just to be lectured on how you're wrong-wrong-stupid-wrong and have your personal opinion shut down over and over again when you do finally give in and respond? Factual statement, neutral in tone & lacking sentiment: Body-shaming people for their puce pinky toes is different from holding no opinion on the attractiveness of puce pinky toes, in general. This is an example of dumb-shaming people over this: "Males who're too stupidly stubborn to "grok" (such a dumb word 🙄) the difference between being mean vs not caring one way or the other are moronic dolts who should be forcibly bred out of the human gene pool." Most of us have multiple stories. There's that whole, "You shouldn't be afraid of me, because I love women and would never hurt one." That's exactly what the crazy-stalker-rapist-killers say, too. And the more they cajole, and fuss, and press the issue aggressively without accepting our reply or respecting our wishes on the matter, the more and more the former seems like he's probably the latter.
