One of the quickest way I've found to stick a stick in the Hamster-wheel and bring it to a screeching halt when they pull the "Lots of successful relationships" card, is to simply and calmly say 'No you haven't...' I swear, conversation all around the room dies down as everyone stops and turns your way as the woman just stares for a moment slack-jawed, "What did you say?" Then comes the follow-up, and the pitch, "No. You haven't had tons of successful relationships. As you said, each one of thos…

You mentioned if he wanted to live in a libertarian society, to go to Somalia to live. That is a perfect example of Anarchy, where only the strongest survive, and do whatever the fuck they want. Anything goes, as long as you can defend it with force, there. That's about as far from a Libertarian government model, one that protects your rights, and those rights alone, as you can get. but that doesn't prohibit small micro-community votes being held in households or villages - it's not national, so…

For all your talk of "scientific facts", you still have yet to cite even one law or theory that applies to Science. As for buzzwords and ad hominem attacks...where to begin? "Social Darwinism, barbarian, oppose enlightenment, oppose civilization, fool..." Yes, there were plenty of buzzwords and ad hominem attacks. Don't try to deny it, because they're right there for everyone to see. I didn't say he supported anarchy as that is a legitimate system of direct democracy You show your ignorance on t…

Confident is where you are obviously capable, and aware of it. Arrogance is where you are not only capable, but you make an effort to rub it in people's faces, especially those lower than you on the econo-social ladder. Simply put in plain vernacular, it's the difference between being an asshole (confident) and a douchebag (arrogant). The former can read social cues enough to know when to tone it down, the latter just keeps plowing straight ahead until he goes off a cliff. Personally, I prefer t…

I seriously hope you're not trolling. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now. Despite your assertion /u/KyfhoMyoba makes an argument like a 12 year old, from my point of view, it's your argument, with all its buzzwords and ad hominem attacks, that comes across immature and poorly thought-out. You cannot create something from nothing. This is why we have scarcity, to use market terms. This scarcity in goods drives exchanges of other goods and services to obtain the desired goods. No matte…

Does it matter, either way? The fact that they waited until women were no longer the de facto beneficiaries of alimony to denounce the concept as unfair should tell you where the perception lines are drawn. If alimony, as a whole, was something they saw as unfair and barbaric, they would have denounced it from the beginning, not just when it was convenient to.

I don't think "Bank balance" would be an apt term for what he's trying to portray. It sounds like an informal system of exchange of utility. Case in point with my LTR: The redhead decides to put in an assload of effort to get the house clean extra spotless. So, taking this into account, I end up ordering out, so she doesn't have to spend the evening over a hot stove, as a relaxation treat for her. Just as she expended time and resources making sure the house looked extra good, I expended time an…

Well, Hot Wheel's policy is that any CP results in a ban. And he doesn't seem to be playing around. Went back to Halfchan to look around after the fallout, and there was CP up being spammed there, so I cut my losses. Meanwhile on 8chan, not a Cheese Pizza or Bear to be seen. We'll see if 8Chan stands the test of time. I hope it does, because the new ruleset model gives a nice way to experiment with a new admin model, and we can see how it goes, in practice. Time will tell, I suppose.

Thank you. That seems rather shady, to be honest. Usually when a criminal investigation is ongoing, the one being investigated is given specifics regarding the accusations against them so they can begin preparing a defense. For the process to go straight from allegations to investigation without the entity being accused having any idea whatsoever what crime he's facing accusation of committing, is disturbing. Given the way MasterChan was part of the opposition to Quinnspiracy and the exodus from…

In regards to your "Beauty isn't everything" section. In regards to A), that is just what we call "Hamstering", in quite a few more words. Her mental processes are spinning a hamster-wheel called "Justification", trying to understand why some guy would turn her down, even though he's been perfectly open about why. In regards to B), then she should try an independent approach. The whole "I have a friend..." scenario for meetups is most often used for hookups, in my experience. If she's looking fo…

But it has de-legitimized the Scientific Establishment, This was the general gist I was going for. Not sure how you can believe there is not a flaw in the "scientific system" Because the flaw is not in the system itself that we call "Science", defined by "the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through objective observation and experiment." That system will never advocate for the kind of skewed poli…

Jesus H Christ, this woman is insane... She basically openly admits that what she wants is not equality, but supremacy. She openly admits to pursuing an agenda where women are free from any laws whatsoever, while men are slaves, forced to rely upon and to submit to the iron high-heel of Womankind. Men have no voice in politics, but must submit to the legislation made by these political proceedings. This is the very essence of tyranny. Of course, everyone in the comments seems to think this is su…

It's a fair viewpoint. I've just seen quite a few TRP'ers that say, in essence, "Stop giving Reddit money, they want to get rid of us" while ignoring the fact that rewarding quality content here both encourages quality content to be posted, and gives the admins less of an excuse to shut us down. I understand your viewpoint, and it has a valid premise. But I think we'll have to agree to disagree on the matter of gilding. The less of an excuse we give the admins to shut us down, the better, in my …

Just commenting on your edit about the Gold. Your request that he donate to a charitable cause is admirable, but to a degree, I can see the sense in gifting Gold. Reddit is a business, and like any business, their aim is to make money. I guarantee you that if TRP didn't get them a revenue stream to offbalance the hate generated by SJW's for it, Reddit Admins would cut us off in an instant. It's an open secret around here that the Admins would love to get rid of us. We're the fly in their ointmen…

Pretty much. Half the reason I ended up on TRP in the first place was noticing a trend in the subs I kept getting banned from simply for disagreeing, how many people had a hate-on for TRP. Decided to come here to see why everyone had such a hate-on for you guys...found the place quite pleasant for someone of my outlook. Funny how their antics end up in a better recruitment scheme than we could ever hope to manufacture ourselves. Why recruit when our opposition does the recruiting for us?

Well, as far as I'm concerned, as mentioned, the jury is still out on the Human-Cause factor. Unfortunately, the DoD can only do so much, in regards to Disaster Preparedness. And much of that would be much better handled on a local level, anyways. Handing the Feds massive amounts of power to get things has, has understandably, often turned out disastrous. This is where the Repub v Dem bickering really becomes problematic. The two parties are so busy arguing where the hurricane came from, that by…

Moot sold out to the SJW's. Even /pol/ (Which, while still a shithole, was a generally-unmoderated shithole, and Freedom of Speech was held as sacrosanct in that community) started having the Global Mods come in and start censoring shit. Rumor has been going around that you'll get banned on 4chan for simply using the term "Halfchan", a term those at 8Chan use to derogatorily refer to 4chan. I haven't tried it out, personally, so take it as hearsay for now. There was a big influx to 8Chan after Q…

As someone who is generally conservative, as opposed to Republican, I'm not so sure you understand what "Global Warming" means. The data definitively shows that the earth is experiencing increasingly variant weather patterns of Hot/Cold. Whether it is induced by human behavior or not is open to debate, from my POV, but the fact of the matter is that it is happening. Even the Dept of Defense thinks it's real enough to see it as a legit threat to world stability. The way I see it, we better start …

Interesting thing, regarding Lucifer. For all of his popular portrayal as Mr. Big, Red, and Scary, they seem to like to forget that Lucifer was the "Morning Star", "The Most Beautiful Angel of All", and so many other titles. I'm surprised nobody's pointed out that this goes against everything the scientific process stands for. They're taking their theory, and immediately setting out to prove it, not disprove it. Their study is specifically formulated to reinforce a presumption, that obese girls don't get laid because of poor social skills, not because of their weight. The scientific method is specifically based out of formulating a hypothesis, and immediately attempting to disprove that hypothesis in a controlled en…

I'm of a similar height. I'm actually much shorter than most alpha males in my area. However, when I first got dosed with TRP by one of my friends, the rest of my social circle started getting creeped out, but not necessarily in a bad way. I already stated how. By making it so the father has absolutely 0 legal connections to the child. That's not forcing her to not carry the fetus to term, that's removing any financial incentive she has to carry the fetus to term when the alleged father doesn't want to bring a life into the world. Whether or not she aborts, is still entirely her choice. There is no force, and thus, no coercion involved. She just has to deal with the financial, legal, and social ramifications if she chooses to carr…

You literally just said it's about forcing her to not carry it to term. I would have loved to have introduced you to my mother, then. She was putting together computers when I was in my late teens. However, I will readily concede that very few women are actually into the IT industry, in that regard. It's funny how they (Feminists/SJW's) are a minority of a minority (Females in the IT industry) and yet they try to insist the market panders to them. Kind of sad, actually.

While I understand your logic, you need to keep in mind that to impose medical abortions on a woman, at the behest of her male companion, violates one of the main cornerstones of modern medicine...Informed Consent. Basically, unless the woman, or the State (after Due Process is enacted establishing a legitimate interest in enforcing the procedure...good luck making that case for Abortions, though) approaches the Doctor to have the procedure done, there's not much that can be done in that regard.…

It's invasion of privacy / theft. Disagree. At best, it's Unauthorized Access of a Computer Device (Namely, the iCloud accounts these photos were lifted from, if that is indeed the case. There's been speculation that some of these photos were too old to have been snagged from the iCloud accounts, and may have been obtained elsewhere). Was a crime committed? Sure. I'm already in an LTR with a cute, redheaded bookworm, but even if I weren't in an LTR, I wouldn;t be frequenting the bar scene. My "type" of woman is a bit different than your typical bar skank or club slut. As for the bars and clubs themselves, if I want to drink booze that I pay a multiple-times markup for, I'll go home and water down some scotch with tap-water (A travesty, I know, but it fits the scenario for our purposes). If you think a party is more about the food than about the socializing, then you must not be very fun at parties. It's none of their business why he turned it down. Red Velvet Cake is notoriously unhealthy for you. As long as he socializes and ensures he is pleasant to those in his presence, that's all he's obligated to do. If he had isolated himself in the corner to sip on a glass of water, I could understand your offense. But as it currently stands, you're engaged in the same type of shaming b…

Bad analogy above. When you cook dinner yourself, you have every bit of control as to what goes into it. From OP's post, it looks like the entire office pitched into to buy a cake that tasted good (And is infamous for being "Sinfully Delicious" amongst women for it's unhealthiness but exquisite taste). He's perfectly within his right to turn it down, and the reasons why he turned it down are none of their business. A party is about socializing, not the hors d'oeuvres. If anything, I've gotten my…

I disagree. There could be any number of reasons why OP turned down cake. Maybe he has an allergy to Eggs? Celiac Disease? Maybe he's a diabetic, and eating Red Velvet Cake would send him into a coma in exchange for a few seconds of flavorful bliss? There could be any number of reasons why he turned it down, all of which are none of their damned business. Interesting fact: Feminism, especially Radical Feminism, has typically not had a very good history with the LGBT community. I have to laugh at the hamstering here. She's basically trying to blame it on the booze and "Jack". There's just one problem with that...alcohol doesn't change who you are, it simply lowers your inhibitions so more of who you really are shines through. This is why alcohol has been part of the human social scene for centuries, because it gets people to lighten up, and to drop that tight-laced social mask we tend to keep about ourselves. Similarly, people bitch about others being assholes on the i…

Thank you for approaching this logically, and for seeing my point-of-view. If someone is calling for a Lynch Mob, by all means, I am perfectly fine with jailing that person, as they are inciting a mob to lawlessness. There is an imminent, and clear and present danger, to address. But any law that is based on making sure people's feelings are not hurt, as the primary reason for its existence, smacks more of political correctness than a legit public interest being addressed, to me.

Your analogy falls flat because people do say things they don't mean in the heat of an argument, especially women (who rarely have to face the consequences for doing so). There are some lines in the heat of a verbal argument that cannot be crossed without irreversible consequences. (Case in point: "I want a divorce." I'm skeptical it was 4 girls instead of 4 guys, and here's why... She already knows her bf is pissed at her for lying about the number of partners she had. Having it between herself and four guys (the likely scenario) is much more damaging to her image as a "Good Girl" than being part of a harem act on one guy. With the harem act, she can blame it on "Going with the flow" and "Peer pressure". And good luck finding four girls willing to bone the same guy all at once in a public restroom...those t…

Like the rest of the post, but I've seen Judge Judy, on more than one occasion, shoot down Hamster Logic. She just doesn't take shit from anyone, regardless of whether male or female. I wouldn't consider this someone who has taken the wall/fall gracelessly, rather I see it as someone who understands the reality of the situation they're in, and using it to the best of their situation. In theory, yes. Probably. The LTR I'm in with has quite a bit of love for Japanese Animation, especially anything related to Studio Ghibli. Howl's Moving Castle is one of her favorite works from that studio, so she watches it every chance she gets. It keeps her happy and occupied to give me some time to myself, so I'm not complaining.

Howl's strength once he grows up a bit would definitely be considered "Sexy", by female standards...but remember, when the movie starts out, he's a beta bitch who runs from his obligations, whines like a baby (Even goes as far as to throw a tantrum, in the character's own words) when the slightest thing goes wrong, and basically comes across as the guy that would make a woman's crotch dryer than the Sahara once you get past the mysterious facade. Student Government came out in the article as "expressing enthusiasm for the campaign". This would be the perfect opportunity for Administration to voice their disapproval, as since the Student Government, an official body sanctioned by the University, is supporting the action, refraining from criticizing it could be claimed as implicit support.

Had she just done what she had to do to keep the power on, I would have respected her for it. But now she has to go and assign some kind of stigma to it, like she's dirty for doing what she did. Barring removal of said device, there's no getting around that restriction. In any case, I'll be discussing things with the Doc and possibly getting a second opinion, assuming I can find a Sports Medicine Practice that's taking new patients.

Walking, I can definitely do. I was on the track team in Junior High and the beginning of HS, so it's a form of exercise I'm quite familiar with. As for lifting in general, yes, you can consider me wet-behind-the-ears on that subject. Most of what you said above in regards to exercise regimens went right over my head (About all I caught were "Squats", "Core/Abs", "Pullups" and "Reps"). I guess it depends on how you define "Working out". Before this whole thing hit the fan, I worked in a very phy…

I was already planning on doing exactly what you mentioned, in regards to writing up/taking the meal/exercise plan to the Doc for clearance before starting. I was raised in a medical family, so I'm well aware of the problems of just starting up a regimen like this without medical approval. I'm just looking for some pointers on where to start.

I'm in a LTR and have been for some time. But here's how I approached it back when I was still cruising the scenes. There is no reason why your first "Date" (The language is outdated. "Hanging out" or "Chilling" has such a better feel to it, and it helps to view it as such to help keep you relaxed and confident, as opposed to feeling like the interview it is.) should involve anything you have to spend money for. Take her to the park and run around a bit, if she's the sporty type. If she's a book…

Okay, maybe I'm a bit wet behind the ears, but what relevance does the man's sex life have to do with whether or not he killed this woman? Why is this even a subject of interest for the DA? Assuming, of course, it isn't just being used as a smear piece, in which case the Judge shouldn't even deem it admissible due to lack of relevance...

Well, that's kind of my point. I don't give a flip is you're a woman or a man, if you're hitting someone who is not an immediate and imminent threat to your personal well-being, you are guilty of Assault, at the very least. The fact that people are pulling support for this girl, despite the circumstances behind her victim's assault, is especially sickening. Girls beats a Guy? "You go grrrl!" Guy beats a Girl? "Die CIS Scum! Such a scumbag! What kind of a man hits a woman!", and so many other dou…

Gotta love how the white woman in the black jacket doesn't start screaming "Stop!" and "Call the cops!" until it becomes obvious the women were going to get their asses handed to him. She didn't have a problem when they were smacktalking the guy, she didn't have a problem when she tried to smack the dude, she didn't have a problem when she climbed up on the counter that other people's food was supposed to go across, and she didn't have a problem when the woman and her friends decided to gang up …

it's psychopathic. And jumping over a work counter to attempt to double-team and beat the everloving piss out of someone isn't?

I wonder how all of these women would react, if it was a guy beating a woman whom he came home to find another man inside her in their bed. I wonder if their tone would be as supportive then... Ah, who am I kidding? They'd want the guy strung up by his balls, lynch-mob style!

Wow, you were right about them. The Moderator finally decided to mail me back, and it seems she's been doing a little creep-factor of her own. Nothing illustrates the case that guys are the creepy ones like stalking them across subreddits, right? Edit: Fixed broken image link

How did Zimmerman get off? Zimmerman established in court that he had been pinned down, and that Martin had grabbed a rock/piece of concrete and was smacking him with it. So yes, he could say he was cornered, and that Martin escalated the use of force when he reached for the rock. That being said, I think the Zimmerman case was nothing but bovine excrement. If Zimmerman had simply listened to dispatch, and hadn't wanted to play RoboCop (much less carry his firearm around with him when he shouldn…

They are very good at it, the problem they have is their ideology is unsustainable and people are starting to get tired of their shit. Well, they can chalk one more up against them, then. I've tried to be understanding with them, and all I've been met with is insults and bans. You can't expect the moderates to jump on board if you regularly alienate them. This is Politics 101, here. Out of curiosity, you mention the ideology is unsustainable. Would you care to elaborate on that?

Fair enough, then. However, I will note, just like a political party that gets too far out of line with it's party-base (They seem to claim to represent everyone that wants actual equality, so I think the analogy is sound), political parties can be ousted from power. Hopefully the same will occur with this model.

You are unclear as to their methods and tactics. Well, yeah, I'm relatively new to Reddit, as a whole, so the "Feminists are taking over" trope is a thing I've only heard about in passing. In retrospect, it sucks that that's the reality, though.

own the mainstream social narrative I hate to be "that guy" so soon after arriving on this sub, but I beg to differ. "Own" implies that the social narrative belongs to them, as in property. Now, I will definitely agree that they Dominate the mainstream social narrative, but they by no means own it. If they expect people to act like feminists on their subs, they need to mark them as feminist subs. You don't go onto /r/atheism trying to preach to them the scripture of Christ, you don't go into /r/…

Even if the law applied equally, it would still result in him being charged with assault. I agree the woman needs to be punched right back, if she thinks she can start swinging like Mike Tyson and not face consequences. However, a primary concept in the legal admissibility of a self-defense claim in a court of law is "Escalation of Force". Simply put, if you walk up to me and give me a killer right hook, that does not give me the right to grab a 2"x4" and bean you over the head with it. By picki…

Kid runs wild/unrestrained away from his mother in the middle of a skate park. Kid runs into a Skater in the middle of a trick, in the middle of a skate park. And somehow, it's the Skater's fault that her kid ran into the middle of oncoming skate traffic and got hurt? I suppose you'd punch a trucker for running your kid over if you let him run out into the street into oncoming traffic, too, huh Momma Bear? Geez, what passes for "Parenting" these days...

PUA When I first started reading about PUA (I'm assuming that stands for Pick Up Artists), I always just internalized the parts that helped with confidence, and disregarded the stuff that made the guy look like a douche. Don't get me wrong, the PUA's have, at the very least, the bit about "Confidence Is Sexy" right, but a lot of what they mention ("Negging", for example) just comes across as douchebag-territory. I can definitely understand the Locker Room mindset. I was never too into sports tha…

don't even try going back there under the same username. I wasn't planning on it. The fact that they were so quick to ban me, but yet still have yet to mail me back to answer a polite request as to why I was banned without explanation tells me all I need to know about them. If you're going to ban someone, at least tell them why you're banning them, even if it's as simple as a single sentence. Otherwise, there's no incentive to change, because they have no idea what they did wrong. As for the sid…

Eh, if they want it to be a "Feminist" space, they should clearly mark it as such, I say. The rules on the sub don't say anything about Feminism. And my post, I would argue, clearly falls within the guidelines of what the rules allow. Still, SRS gonna SRS, I suppose. I welcomed a reasoned debate on policy, but it seems like reasonable debate wasn't what they wanted. Incidentally, this makes the second "Safe Space" on Reddit I've been banned from, even though I agreed with the general vibe of the…

While I agree with your position that Age of Consent laws are largely arbitrary, and differ between jurisdictions with no way to discern the "best" age at which to set them, you seem to be ignoring the fact that even judging by the letter of the law this woman committed a crime, if not the spirit of the law as well. If one wishes to have the law changed, it doesn't give one a license to break the law, it simply means you must lobby for it to change. This is why I call stoners idiots when their b…

Two steps ahead of you, already reading the sidebar. Makes sense, what you say about offmychest and SRS. Even considering that, I don't see anything that would violate the typical "Safe Space" bullshit they spout. I was even supportive of the OP. But then again, SRS has never been known for it's rationality. The rest of the post was basically an intro/first post. Have a point, as seems to be the custom, for the helpful info regarding offmychest. ♂
