That's how a sane person does it, but like almost every hobby out there you can really go crazy. I went the opposite with motorcycles and spent 4$k on a brand new bike. 42 horses, none of them are nags.

I was just thinking these guys would have a heart attack if they went over to wicked edge. Razors, soaps, scuttles, brushes, and whatever other accoutrement the dude uses to "save money". Fuck I spent a bunch on shaving gear. The only possible thing that makes shaving seem cheap again is my motorcycles.

Exactly, it wasn't a dude in a dress or even a landwhale that divorce raped me. It was a slim woman and the insanely biased family court system.

I bought a starter bike almost a year ago but waited until last month to take the safety course. Anyone on the fence should not do what I did, take the course before you even buy a bike. I learned a bunch and had a blast, plus their old crappy bikes take all the fear out of scratching your brand new fairings so you'll actually push your limits.

Japan? I had no idea marrying a Japanese chick was playing with more fire than usual. My kid's now in her twenties so I have unlimited access, only... What woman in her twenties wants to spend much time with Dad. Water under the bridge I guess but I can warn the younger guys.

This: I'll bet 90% of absentee fathers were fleeing to save their sanity, possibly even freedom. That threat of being publicly eviscerated is no laughing matter. I'm my case I had to back off because my ex was threatening to leave the country to a place where I would have no legal recourse to see my child. I gave her everything to placate her and still went through hell.

He makes it sound like sloppy seconds, which for the most part is not the case. AWALT and GYOW but sex can feel damn good at times. The risk may not be worth the stakes but there's a reason why the thirsty army is formidable.

I was taking a break after cruising around on my Yamaha R3 a couple weeks back when some dude on an Indian chief sat near me in the cafe. I don't know that much about Indian motorcycles other than they used to be manufactured in my hometown (Springfield). I quickly broke out my phone to see if I could figure out how old it was. I wanted to ask him, but he looked like a grumpy old bastard so I bit my tongue. According to my quick research the thing weighed over 800 lb. The Scout in that video rea…

I really like the look of the Vulcan, it really has a classic silhouette. Motorcycles could be a real addiction with so many styles to choose from and no eyes rolling behind my back when I decide that twisties are just what the doctor ordered on my day off.

You really don't want that level of libertarianism unless Tijuana Chiclet saleskids are your cuppa. That being said, no artificial insemination, no boner pills, and no expensive health care on the tax payers dime after retirement age.

My Dad was in my life, even lived with him during some of the most formative years. He thought business, boobs, and booze were more important than being another Ward Clever so I had to rely on my friends fathers to teach me how to tie a tie, shake a hand, basically be a man. Both of my parents were tax paying hard working people and nobody ever put a cigarette out on my arm. That being said I was clueless about how life really works until I was divorce raped. My red pill was a suppository.

I've had officers try to goad me by getting in my face in spite of me being calm and soft spoken. I've dealt with some amazingly nice police officers as well but not all are rational while wearing their badge. /Bitter divorce, ex used to call the police if I tried to see my daughter on my allotted time when it was calendar based. There's a narrative here like there is in feminist subreddits. The knee jerk is so common because for most of us, the no man's land hasn't reached DMZ status. MGTOW are treated like some fringe, crybaby, if-only-could-get-laid he-man's women hating club, when the reality is more along the lines of shell shock from a system that only sees men as hot swappable appliances. Our nerves are raw so the reactionary impulse is still in play.

I'm okay with fractional returns as long as voting is tied to service. I never served so frankly I shouldn't be able to vote. Women do have more to offer than friction, I think if we raised the bar with regards to what society expects and didn't allow for wiggle room they might be a worthwhile investment. (You mandate no pregnancy during their service with steep repercussions if they disobey orders).

I totally see your point, though if you segregate by proclaimed gender and make their task goal oriented without exception, the excuses and lollygagging would only hurt their own team. If they need to take that ridge, their losses are their losses.

I'm too old to serve now, and back in the late eighties the US (where I am) wasn't exactly engaged to my knowledge so signing up seemed more like a jobs program than anything. I was already in a big city making decent money so the patriotic need wasn't there. Even at that time I knew that if I wanted to serve, I'd be better off getting a degree first. This seemed like a great way to have a bunch of entitled assholes commanding troops with fewer options so I just went my own way and saved enough …

I don't mean you'd have to swap every twenty miles, but that you have many places at which you can swap. Obviously swapping stations every two miles would be even better but I'm not greedy.

I would love an electric motorcycle but I need like a red box battery swapping station every 20 miles or so. I put 275 miles on my R3 last Saturday which wouldn't have been possible on any electric bike on the market. I didn't even know where I was going when I started it which was a very freeing feeling.

Not at all, it's not about whether or not you have easy access to women's bodies. For many of us older dudes it's about the legal issues of marriage and the constant nagging. It's also about women feeling entitled and inability to be interesting outside the bedroom. I tolerated a bunch of uninteresting conversation over the years knowing that I'd be "getting some" later. These days I just spend way more time and money doing things I want to do and don't consider access to women a worthwhile ende…

Thank you. I may not trust a woman any farther than I could trebuchet her, but even I have to admit I have met a few kick-ass ladies along the way. Back in highschool woodshop, it was a skinny petite chick that made all us dudes look completely clueless with the fantastic furniture she made. Almost all the women I've met have relied on their looks or social game to skate through life but there have been some notable exceptions. For me the AWALT is about the odds. 99.99% of women couldn't compete…

I'm turning fifty soon, I had sex for the first time when I was fifteen. The only time I ever had to go without regular access to sex was during the ten years of my marriage. The benefits of marriage are like the benefits of being stuck on a congested freeway during rush hour. You'll wonder how the hell you wound up there and where the nearest exit is.

I'd rather have some tribal dude blowgun my shoulder with an animal tracking tag than find another shitty leaflet under my windshield wiper. MGTOW needs leaflets like XXchromosome needs entitlement. That being said, graffiti is always trashy, it was trashy during the Roman Empire, it will be trashy when the grandchildren of millennials laser etch Kilroy on Pluto.
