Yep, you’re spot on about the “no hookups” thing. Guys will bang a girl they don’t find very attractive or relationship worthy, but they won’t commit to her. That’s why so many women complain about guys just wanting sex and never a relationship. They’re batting out of their league. If women would date guys who are actually on the same level as them, they’d find there are plenty of guys who are relationship minded.

“Clear them out” means to throw them away. He’s joking. The way you keep potatoes for 3 months is by not throwing them away, but he didn’t say they wouldn’t get rotten.

We weren’t looking for a hookup either...

At that point I’d rather go find a girl from a third world country who wants to get married than some saggy old single mom who probably would’ve rejected me when she was actually desirable.

God dammit I hate it when women refer to themselves as “mama”

Then they shouldn’t complain when that’s all they end up getting from certain guys.

Yea I agree. Height for men is equivalent to weight for women. Height is something you have no control over but weight is something you can control, given their is some genetic component to whether you gain weight easily or not, but it can be overcome if you’re disciplined enough.

So you’re saying any guy who makes 100k is a 10 and could basically date supermodels?
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen12/02/21 09:28 PM
1

Idk about that. Maybe +1 point for every 100k you make. None of the girls I’ve talked to ever gave a shit about how much I made, otherwise I would’ve been doing a lot better with the ladies. Maybe it’s because I’m still in my 20’s. I’m sure it probably matters more to 30-something women who are looking for a human ATM to support them and current/future their kids.

I didn't say relationships wouldn't happen, of course they still would, but it would lessen the amount that men's sex drive causes them to pursue relationships. Men would still have relationships for emotional intimacy, starting a family, and companionship. Some men though would just be happy with seeing prostitutes rather than getting into a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/21 11:01 PM
1

If prostitution was legal, safe, and affordable then many more men would just do that and not worry about getting into a relationship.

Sex feels way better than masturbation. I’d much rather have sex with a random attractive girl even if she was paid rather than masturbate. Most guys just masturbate though because of all the issues of paying for sex (expensive, illegal, STD’s, judgment from others, taboo).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/21 05:57 PM

I kinda agree. "Nice guys" usually are not confident and self-conscious so they try too hard to please others, especially women they're attracted to, which makes them seem like pushovers and is unattractive to women. "Bad boys" are more confident and unafraid to disagree with women and not cave in to their every whim, which is attractive to women. I don't really think most women would prefer a confident, assertive drug dealer to a confident, assertive engineer (although some certainly do).

I mostly agree with your sentiment. I don’t think the average guy is not hitting on women he finds attractive because he is worried about getting MeToo’ed, he isn’t doing it because he’s afraid of being rejected just like always, and the MeToo thing makes a good excuse so guys can pretend like they actually are confident enough to hit on attractive girls but it’s because of damn MeToo that they don’t. Although I do think guys in certain positions like managers and bosses and professors are legit…

You gotta give her credit for not being overweight. That’s rare for a woman in her 30’s these days.

This makes sense because men are much more likely to be weight lifting and trying to get large muscles.

I have to agree with this. I think it is mostly a cope from young guys who aren’t getting any pussy, so they have this revenge fantasy that when they’re in their 30’s or 40’s the women who rejected them when they were younger will be chasing them and they will reject them for younger girls. It’s mainly older guys who make a lot of money who do really well with hot 20-something gold diggers. So it only really works for doctors or lawyers or business owners or other high earners.

It’s due to evolution. Men are attracted to beautiful women because it signals good genes, fertility, and youth which are all important for reproduction and survival. Women’s fertility drops off quite dramatically in their 30’s and the risk of birth defects and miscarriage rises, so signs of aging like wrinkles and saggy skin are seen as unattractive. Women need to look good to attract the highest quality men.

It’s impossible to maintain a literal calorie deficit indefinitely, because if you’re at a deficit you’re using more energy than you’re consuming and eventually you’ll run out of your body’s energy reserves and starve to death. Your body does burn less calories as you lose weight though, so there’s nothing unhealthy about reducing your calorie intake permanently to maintain a leaner figure. Say you weigh 200 pounds and need 2500 calories to maintain your weight, if you want to get to 150 pounds,…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/20 03:47 AM
1

Yea, my goal is to get that kind of body. I think a lot of guys think they have to get big and ripped for girls to like them, but they really don’t, and it’s much easier to just be “skinny with abs” like you said. It’s really mostly about diet, and 3x per week lifting is probably sufficient.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/20 05:44 AM
2

Like others said, lift weights, but the caveat is that you don’t need to even get THAT muscular to be optimally attractive, it’s more important to get to a low body fat percentage while having decent musculature.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/20 07:33 PM

Ok, if we’re going to stick with how things were 1000 years ago then women need to be virgins before marriage and stay at home raising children and taking care of the household after marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 01:30 AM
3

If women can easily afford a meal at a restaurant then why should men have to pay for it? It should be split. Back in the days when most women didn’t work and were expected to stay home and raise kids after marriage it made sense that the man would pay, but now it doesn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/20 05:26 PM
2

It’s totally a legitimate concern. I’m not saying a majority of women do it but it’s a big enough percentage that men need to be cautious of it, and the only way to avoid being taken advantage of it to either always split the bill on the first couple dates or do something free or cheap.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/20 05:22 PM
1

I got banned for saying I was thinking I might find an early 20’s, beautiful Filipina to marry if I’m still single by my 30’s and talking about the pros and cons. I think it could actually work well, if you can find a genuine girl.
/r/MGTOW227/09/20 03:26 AM
17

Yea, why would any woman go on a date with someone she has zero interest in? Unless it’s just for a free meal. Which is a good reason why dates should be split, that way women would only go on dates with guys they have an interest in and not just use them for free meals.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 05:05 AM
2

Ok I’m fine with this as long as you don’t complain about “the wage gap”. (Which by the way is almost entirely due to career choices and hours worked)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 01:32 AM

Lol the logic is non-existent. How is she not a “selfish money leech” by never wanting to pay for her share of a date but the guy is?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 01:27 AM
4

So you’re saying you’re not usually very interested in a guy before a first date and yet you expect him to be super-interested?

8

Men get used for free meal tickets all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 01:20 AM

Everything you said can be applied when reversing the genders. Why would a woman go out with a man who she doesn’t think is worth a meal? It would make women more selective in which guys she goes out with if she has to pay for the meal. Etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 01:19 AM

Might as well just say the man should pay for the date since he is the one doing the asking out 99% of the time. Also, not an unpopular opinion.

If she has a small, not easily visible tattoo, then I think it basically says “I want to be cool and edgy and unique, but I’m afraid to commit to a larger, visible tattoo”. It’s still stupid IMO, but better than a larger, visible tattoo because she’s at least considering job prospects and people’s judgment.

They are much more common on people with lower intelligence, lower socioeconomic status, single moms, convicts, low class, and generally overall poor decision makers. Now that doesn’t mean all people with tattoos are like that, some are very smart and rich and great people, but on average they’re much more likely to have some of those characteristics. I think it’s pretty easy to observe in real life. None of my friends that I went to engineering school with have tattoos. Practically every inmate…

I fucking hate it whenever the discussion of who should pay for dinner comes up and someone says “the one who does the asking out should pay” because 99% of the time it’s the guy. It’s just a way for “modern” women to act like they’re about equality while still getting a free ticket.

Around 6’4”-6’6” is probably the optimum height for attractiveness to women because that makes you taller than 99.9% of men but any taller and you start to look weird.

Yea but those guys are more like top 0.1% in facial attractiveness, and also it doesn’t matter as much how tall they are because they can always make them look taller on screen through various methods.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/20 07:14 PM
1

I agree that in your ridiculous scenario, the guy with his face melted off will lose to the guy with no legs, but that doesn’t mean anything for the overwhelming majority of men. I don’t agree that a top 10% face guy with average height will beat a top 10% height guy with average face.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/20 12:30 AM
1

Your example is extreme and irrelevant. 99.9% of guys have both legs and are not horrifically burned, so it has no bearing on what generally happens in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/20 09:30 PM

Ok, that’s why I said in most cases. If the guy’s face is extremely ugly or extremely attractive then face can matter more than height, but most guys are somewhere in between.

The “inviter should pay” argument is stupid for another reason, men ask women out 99% of the time for the first date, so it’s basically the same as saying that men should pay for the first date.

Paying for a date doesn’t get you laid, at least not in your 20’s when women care mainly about physical attractiveness and personality. Maybe it helps get you laid in your thirties when women are looking for a provider.

Oh yea, I forgot about the 0.01% of women that are professional athletes. Anyways female athletes wouldn’t be classified as overweight, the MMA fighters might have a lot of muscle but they are lean. Female weight lifters are not overweight unless they have too much fat in addition to muscle. BMI is based off of height and weight. Obviously a 5’4” girl and a 6’ girl should not weigh the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 05:34 PM
1

There are of course healthy weight women in America, but they’re only about 1/3 of the population. There are few people who are “overweight” because of their muscle mass and probably extremely few women who are “overweight” because of their muscle. It would be extremely hard for most women to put on that much muscle mass even if they wanted to. The number of people who tip into the overweight category of BMI is more than likely outweighed by the number of people who are in the normal range of BM…

What’re you saying? I’m talking about America primarily, and also other western countries which are getting fatter. I know there’s lots of skinny women in other countries, but that doesn’t help American men unless they want to move abroad or start an LDR.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 02:05 PM

The “thick” trend is just a cope because most women are fat these days
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 12:49 PM

It’s not that they don’t marry “poor” men, it’s that they don’t marry men poorer than themselves. Of course some women marry poorer men, but it’s just much less common than men marrying poorer women. Most men wouldn’t have any problem marrying a woman that works a relatively low paying job if he finds her attractive and fun to be around. Here’s one article talking about it https://ifstudies.org/blog/better-educated-women-still-prefer-higher-earning-husbands
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/20 05:48 AM
1

Women usually marry men of an equal or higher socioeconomic status, whereas men don’t care nearly as much about how much a woman makes, so it’s much less likely for a wealthy woman to get married to and divorce a much poorer man and lose half her money.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/20 05:16 AM

I think feminism tells women (not explicitly, but implies) that woman’s traditional gender roles are inferior to men’s and subtly shames them for fulfilling those gender roles. Feminism ironically seems to view masculinity much better than femininity.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/20 03:27 PM

Yea I agree. Mid-20’s is probably most men’s sexual prime.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 03:15 AM

Men will only watch the top 20% in attractiveness of women online because there’s no point in watching less attractive women when the resource is unlimited. However, men will still simp for and try to date less attractive women in real life, and men are much less picky about women when it comes to dating. Also, most men will find the vast majority of women attractive if they are in shape.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 04:58 PM

Yes, that definitely has an effect on their bodies and contributes to saggy boobs and stretch marks. But I think a lot of women use having kids as an excuse to be overweight. Of course women will gain weight during pregnancy, but they can lose the excess weight afterwards. I’m sure it is hard and may take a year and their body will still not go entirely back to how it looked pre-pregnancy, but it will look way better than a woman who stays overweight because she believes having kids means you’re…

I’m not saying that disabled people utilizing prostitution would destigmatize it, but I think it definitely could be destigmatized and probably relatively quickly considering how quickly other things have been destigmatized such as homosexuality and transsexualism. I think it is actually already starting to be destigmatized because now it is politically correct to call it “sex work” and the woke people are saying things like “sex work is valid work” and “destigmatize sex work”, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 07:50 AM

Prostitution has just as valid of a scientific backing, there are a few examples of transactional sex in animals and one experiment in which they gave monkey’s silver discs that functioned as money and they started trading them for sex. Also prostitution is known as “the oldest profession” since it’s been part of human culture since the dawn of time. Also prostitution can make people happier as well. Prostitution is very helpful especially for disabled people who have trouble finding sexual part…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 06:28 AM
2

If prostitution was fully legal and easy to access and affordable for the average man to see a prostitute at least once a week, I definitely think it would make men less desperate and would chase women less. I think less attractive/fatter women would have a harder time getting hookups, because the average looking men would rather pay for a prostitute than hookups with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 06:06 AM
2

I don’t agree because there are so many things that are destigmatized now that were very stigmatized even just 30 years ago like homosexuality or even just 10 years ago like transsexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 06:02 AM

From an evolutionary perspective, it makes sense that societies would encourage “simping”, since women’s survival is more important for reproducing since one man can impregnate a practically unlimited number of women, but women can only give birth once every 9 months maximum.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 05:53 AM
3

I think men who keep in shape generally age better than women into their 40’s and 50’s because wrinkles on a man can look kind of good, but wrinkles on a woman never look good. Also men’s bodies can age better if they stay in shape/low body fat because they don’t have boobs or big butts which sag with age on women. However, women can age pretty well if they stay in shape, but sadly the vast majority of women (and men) nowadays get more overweight as they get older and a lot were overweight to be…

Most women prefer high n count men because it demonstrates that he’s a high value man because he could attract lots of other women. It also allows them to show off and be the “winner” because they were the one to lock him down.

So you think the law for age of consent should follow that formula? That would be pretty convoluted and would prevent two consenting adults from expressing their love, wasn’t that the whole argument for gay marriage?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 05:23 PM

N count doesn’t matter in men but it matters in women because it reduces their ability to pair bond. Studies have shown that women with more premarital sex partners have marriages that are more likely to end in divorce.

I think most people COULD be attractive in their youth if they weren’t overweight and looked after themselves to some degree. When I see high school yearbook pictures from the 1950’s, most of the guys look really handsome and most of the girls look pretty attractive. It’s because most people were a healthy weight back then.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 05:15 PM

I couldn’t agree more. Although I think there is a little truth that women’s preferences change when they get older, like I don’t think a 30 year old woman would be attracted to an 18 year old frat boy that she would be in college, but she would still be attracted to a handsome, tall player who she could bang in her 20’s but now is too old to catch his attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 05:13 PM

You say it’s disturbing to pay someone to sleep with you that doesn’t want to, but they DO want to because they’re getting paid for it! Her body, her choice, right?! If a woman wants to sell sex, she should be able to. I think women are against prostitution because they know it would greatly lessen their power over men through being the gatekeepers of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 04:41 AM

Yep, or at least men would buy much more modest houses and probably save more money for retirement or spend it on other things like traveling or cars.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 04:28 AM

It can work in some relationships, but I think the majority of the time it will lead to a less happy marriage and less sex because the woman doesn’t feel like her man is powerful or something.

We’re not facing extinction, but most countries these days, especially developed countries, have a fertility rate below replacement. This is bad for the economy and bad for national security. For example they are predicting that Japan will have half the population it does now by the year 2100.

We can agree to disagree, but to me a beta bux has to directly provide something to a woman to get her to sleep with him, usually over a long period of time too like in an LTR or marriage. I wouldn’t consider Jonah Hill a beta bux if went to a club and picked up a chick based solely off of his status, cuz he isn’t that physically attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/20 01:50 AM

But if they get a ONS based on status, I would still consider them AF as long as they didn’t have to buy her an expensive dinner or gift or something like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/20 01:32 AM

Modern society hasn’t changed the fact that women can only produce one offspring every 9+ months though, and this is still very important because society needs new generations for it to survive. So I don’t see why women are any less important now, except that many of them are not reproducing at all, or only having one kid, which is detrimental to the society they are part of.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/20 01:28 AM

I would say the vast majority of ONS are obtained through looks and charisma for guys, not counting prostitution of course.

Betabuxx to me means a guy that has to provide for a woman to get her to sleep with him and is in a position of subservience to her, and she doesn’t really have any sexual desire for him. But think of a guy like Daniel Radcliffe. I bet you anything he can slay easily because of his fame and fortune. But if he was not rich and famous, he’d have a very hard time with women because he’s only 5’5”. If he went to a club, he could easily pick up a hot chick and bang her, but he doesn’t actually have t…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/20 03:25 AM

I don’t think so. A lot of women are attracted to money and fame even if the guy is not physically attractive. And guys like this aren’t necessarily betabuxx because they don’t have to actually spend money on the women to get them to sleep with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/20 02:37 AM

Yes. Physically, the easiest way to go from unattractive to attractive is to get in shape and to relatively low body fat percentage if you are overweight.

Why would the therapy be the same? If the root cause of someone’s depression is that they don’t have any friends or community, then the best treatment would be to help them build relationships, but if the root cause of their depression was just that they didn’t have enough of some chemical in their brain, but everything else in their life was going pretty well, then the best treatment would be to give them an antidepressant.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/20 01:57 PM
1

Ok, I can get behind that. I think that in modern times, most people are depressed because of external circumstances, like no sense of community and no strong relationships, and not because of their brain chemistry or anything inherently biological.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/20 02:00 AM
3

It sounds like you’re saying that “depression” cannot be caused by anything outside of the body. I think this is incorrect because I think most cases of depression are caused by a person’s environment and relationships. I don’t think you can expect someone to be content without fulfilling relationships (platonic or romantic).
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/20 12:30 PM

Yep. I think you’re totally right that most cases of “depression” are caused by the circumstances of one’s life, whether controllable or not, rather than some chemical imbalance.

Single mothers are single mothers because they made an extremely stupid decision, except in the case of where their husband or bf died. I’m saying sex boys would cost as much as a car in general. The more fancy ones would be the equivalent of a new car and the cheaper ones the equivalent of a used car. I didn’t say most adults in the USA or West can afford a new car. Again I said they can afford a car. They includes used and new cars.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/20 05:39 AM
1

When did I say “new car”? I said “car”. Im not talking about people buying used sex robots. Most adults in America or the West can afford a car, whether new or used, but it’s still a significant expense, so that’s why I likened it to a car purchase.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/20 03:36 AM

I think it would significantly decrease rape rates if the poorest people could afford them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/20 03:31 AM

Yea, once in awhile an old lady gets raped, but it is WAY more common for a young woman to get raped. Also if rape was just about power, then weak or disabled men would be just as likely to get raped as women.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/20 02:23 AM
3

Because I’m not talking about just sex toys. Sex toys and even the sex dolls they have today are not very realistic and cannot interact and have a conversation with you. I think men would be happier with a robot that looks and feels like a real woman and can interact with them than a woman would, because women want status and money from they’re relationships much more than men do, which a sex bot couldn’t give them.

Who says people wouldn’t form emotional connections with their robotic partners that are just as deep as with a real human?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/20 01:03 AM

I think it’s the exact opposite of what you said. I think most men would be fairly happy with a woman that he loves, even if others don’t think she’s that great. Whereas I think more women are looking for the 6ft+, 6-figure income doctor who checks all the boxes so they can impress everyone. Therefore, women would be less happy with a sex bot that treated them well and looked like a model than men would IMO.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/20 01:01 AM
3

I agree with you, except for the part where you say sex bots won’t become a mainstream thing. There are SOOO many things that people thought would never become mainstream, but are now. People always tend to look for the quickest, easiest solution, even if it isn’t the best for them in the long run, so why would people spend countless hours and money and heartbreak looking for a real human to have a relationship with, when they could buy a sex bot/robotic companion that would fulfill most of thos…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/20 12:57 AM

I know that. I’m saying that there is a 90% chance that any random woman would be above average if she was thin since most women are overweight, there’s less than 10% of women who are unattractive enough that they’d still be average or less even when thin. Obviously, if 90% of all women suddenly became thin, the average attractiveness would increase and thus not all of them would be above average, genius.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/20 03:59 PM
3

Yea it’s sad. And women don’t even really have to workout, just be slim. Exercising can sculpt their body some more, but just being thin alone gives them most of the attractiveness boost. Whereas if a guy is just thin and never works out, he will have thin arms and still be considered unattractive.

It’s hard to even tell if a girl is pretty when she’s fat because it bloats her face and you can’t really see the natural shape of her face. Sometimes you can tell that a girl would be really attractive if she wasn’t fat, and that’s a shame.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/20 03:25 AM

90% or more of women these days would be above average in attractiveness if they were not overweight or obese, because most other girls are. Most women are pretty good looking if they are at a healthy weight.

The only reason women’s increasing success decreases their options is because they limit themselves to men who are above them in social status/income. They could date men of a lower social status/income but choose not to. I don’t think most men would mind dating a woman with a higher income or more “prestigious” job, as long as she has time for him and doesn’t work long hours or is stressed out a lot.

Agreed. A girl that dresses nicely in public rather than sweat pants and hoodies or T-shirts is way more attractive. And a lot of American girls wear yoga pants, which are sexy if they have a nice butt and legs, but they aren’t very classy, I’d much rather have a girl that wears something pretty but more modest.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/20 03:00 AM

Being overweight subtracts 2 points and being obese subtracts 3+ points out of 10 from your attractiveness. IMO women are most attractive at the lower end of the healthy BMI range, like a BMI of 18-22, but anything in the healthy range is fine (18-25). I think 90% of women in the US can easily be at least a 6 if they are not overweight/obese, since 2/3 of women in the US are overweight/obese so their competition is low. Men will gain attractiveness too from losing weight, but not as much as wome…

I agree. I think a lot of men get disinterested if a girl has sex with them too soon or too easily. It shows that she is easy and subconsciously makes him think she is not high quality because he didn’t have to work hard to get her. How many amazing, fulfilling things in life are easy to achieve? Not many. I don’t think girls should necessarily “play hard to get” because that can make the guy just give up. I’m just saying they should wait for several dates before having sex.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/20 11:57 PM

Yea maybe with something specific like trying a new pickup line, or a new venue to meet girls, but not for something as broad as trying to get a girlfriend because there are an unlimited number of ways you can try to do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/20 11:49 PM
1

So you should only ever apply to one job or one college or actors should only audition for one part and give up if you they don’t get it? Also, it’s not “doing the same thing” if you ask out different girls and try different things. However, if you mean that you got rejected by the same girl, using the same approach 11 times, then yes you might be insane.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/20 11:46 PM

11 times just isn’t enough though. Counting all the dates I’ve been on from girls I’ve met on dating apps or girls I met in class who I asked out or just random girls I’ve met, I’ve definitely been rejected at least 50 times, maybe more. And I’m talking girls that I actually asked out or went on a date with and then got ghosted/rejected, not counting girls I messaged that just never responded or that I approached at a party or something, and I’m mid-20’s so I’ve only been trying for 10 years or …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/20 11:01 PM

It’s not, but that’s like the equivalent of saying “I applied for 5 jobs and didn’t get any of them, so I’m giving up.” Sure, it’s possible to get a good job if you only apply to 5, but generally people apply to many more than that before they get one. Likewise, most men have been rejected WAY more than 11 times. Dating is a numbers game. If you had been rejected at least 50 times with no success whatsoever, then I could see giving up.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/20 10:54 PM

You mean you were only rejected 11 times?? That’s nothing! As a guy, if you can count how many times you’ve been rejected, you really didn’t even try. /r/PurplePillDebate22/05/20 05:49 PM

I don’t think so. Girls care HOW MUCH taller than her he is. They would rather have a guy that’s 6” taller than them than a guy who’s 1” taller than them. Don’t forget “he still has to be taller than me when I’m in heels”

Yea, REAL thick girls just have naturally big butts/thighs and a lot of it is muscle, not just fat. But nowadays people will call a girl like that “thick” and claim that she’s perfectly healthy. The standard of beauty in the early 2000s might’ve been thinner, but the obesity epidemic was still very bad during that time, so I don’t think a large percentage of women were starving themselves. Some were of course, but there still are some women starving themselves today too.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/20 08:13 PM

It’s hard to say how much she weighs, but if she’s 170 and 5’5” she would have a BMI of 28.3 which is getting close to obese. It’s a shame because I think she would be really hot if she lost like 40 pounds. Being overweight or obese has become so normalized that when somebody gets down to the lower end of the healthy BMI range (but still a perfectly healthy weight) people start making comments like they’re becoming anorexic, especially for women. For men I think 20% body fat is still higher than ideal. It’s more like 12-15%. I’m close to 18% right now and still want to lose more fat because I can still pinch a decent amount of fat around my middle and I think my face will thin out a little more and become more angular.

He is banging hot, young chicks and not marrying them, so they can’t take half of his money, and he’s a multimillionaire so any money he does spend on them is trivial to him. And the beta bucks usually just makes a slightly above average salary so he ends up spending a significant percentage of his money …

One quarter is still a lot and that is only talking about obese women, the data that I linked to showed that nearly 50% of 18-24 year old women are overweight or obese and it’s nearly 60% for women 25-44, and that was in 2010 and it’s gotten worse since then.

Nowadays I think it’s because many men have brainwashed themselves into thinking that’s what they like because fat women are the only women they can get

How do you even get an escort??
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:05 PM

I have. All of the chicks I’ve dated were relatively thin. I have banged one slightly chubby chick. But it seems to have gotten WAY harder to get a good gf in the last couple years.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:03 PM
1

I mentioned in the post that this is a problem for men too, but it doesn’t make as huge of a difference for men’s attractiveness as it does for women because men also have to fill many other criteria to be attractive, especially being tall. Also, somebody else posted this https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/ge4abq/literally_all_it_takes_for_women_to_be_above/fpm5esu/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 01:52 PM
2

I thought that was probably the case because way more men lift weights and probably a small but significant percentage of the men who are considered overweight by BMI are within the healthy body fat range, but I didn’t want to speculate on that because I didn’t find the data that you have when I made the post
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:34 AM
2

I think it’s a coping mechanism because most women are fat these days, so they have brainwashed themselves into thinking that’s what they like since that’s all they are likely to have access to.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:25 AM
3

Yea. I’m not into “thick” girls though. I think most of them would look better 10 or 20 pounds lighter. I think maybe “thick” girls have become popular as a coping mechanism for many guys because that’s what most of the girls out there today are.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:22 AM
1

That makes sense. But the cut offs for healthy body fat percentage are different for men and women, with women having a higher body fat % before being considered fat since they naturally have a higher body fat percentage due to breasts and butts mainly.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:20 AM
6

Yea, that’s my point at the end. Fat women can still get banged by attractive guys, but they are rarely going to get commitment from them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:15 AM
1

The only way you can be overweight in the right way is to have an very high amount of muscle
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:13 AM
8

Yes, you can still look decent and fall into the overweight category, but in my opinion most people look significantly better in the healthy BMI range. I think we’ve just gotten so used to most people being overweight/obese that we don’t even realize that a lot of people are overweight and would look a lot better 20 lbs or so lighter.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:11 AM
9

True, but for now I’d rather be single than settle for a fat chick.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:05 AM
2

All things being equal though, chubby chicks are going to have less attractive faces on average because their faces are bloated and their facial features are less defined, plus double chins.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:04 AM
2

Yea, I saw some data saying that there was a slightly higher percentage of men that were overweight and obese combined, but a higher percentage of obese women than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 02:00 AM

Well yea, of course a woman who is 10 pounds overweight is still more attractive than a hideous woman with a healthy BMI.

Incels don't like liberals because liberals are always talking about how women have it so much harder than men, even though there are many advantages that Western society bestows upon women which the mainstream media never acknowledges and even the wage gap is a myth because essentially all of the wage gap is due to career choices and number of hours worked. I think Trump exhibits the most alpha male persona of any politician because he always acts like he's right and is never meek or humble. Al…

Most women with a gorgeous face are also at a healthy weight, because once girls start to get too many extra pounds their faces get fat and don't have an attractive shape.

Yea I agree, most fit guys won't date fat chicks, unless they're into that. But a lot will come over in the evening and bang them, thus inflating their self-esteem. Although there are a good percentage of fit guys who like "thick" women, whom are actually overweight on the BMI scale and would've been considered chubby 40 years ago.

After her and I broke up, I had relationships with two other girls I met through OLD in 2015 and 2016 and they were both about the same SMV as me. Since that last gf I met in 2016, I think it has gotten WAY harder to find a girl through OLD who is around the same SMV as you who is willing to "settle" for a guy in her league. Yep. I have a lot of engineer friends (like myself) in their mid-20’s who are nice, fun to be around, not overweight, and make $60,000-$100,000 a year but have a really hard time getting a girlfriend because they aren’t 6’ 4” and don’t look like Chris Hemsworth like all those overweight queens deserve.

It’s basically women who deluded themselves into thinking they’re dating guys who are way out of their league in their 20s, when really those guys are just pumping and dumping those chicks (and with lots of other chicks as well) and maybe going to dinner with them a couple of times. Then, the women get older and realize they’re starting to get less attractive because the tall, handsome, and ripped guys won’t even pump and dump them anymore, so they can’t even indulge themselves in the delusion t…

Dude, wearing shoe lifts is not going to make you a social outcast in America, or probably anywhere in the West. We have an individualistic culture. It is such a trivial thing that nobody cares that much. I actually think it shows confidence to do something that goes against the grain.

That’s pretty funny actually 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 09:24 PM

I posted it to see what people thought and to give the idea to other guys to potentially help them. I think it offers an amazing ROI, because shoe lifts are like $15 and there’s plenty of research showing all the advantages that tall people get in life, not just romantically but also economically. And no one is going to notice it. If 2” is too much, then make it 1.5” or even just 1”. 2” is just a random number that I think is the biggest lifts a guy could use while still being discreet, but any …

Primarily I’m saying that wearing shoe lifts could potentially give men of average height a significant advantage in the dating market and as long as they aren’t ridiculously thick, no one would notice. Even 1” lifts would give a little advantage. My other point is to point out the double standard to people who say men who would wear lifts are pathetic and self-conscious that women are allowed and encouraged to enhance their appearance in so many ways and yet some people are insulting and degrad…

/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 08:54 PM

Exactly! That’s what I’m saying. People find out stuff they didn’t know about their partners later that would’ve made them not even consider a relationship at the very beginning. Height is one of the least consequential of these things, usually it’s like a drinking problem or bipolar disorder or a peanut allergy
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 08:48 PM
1

Yea, I’m sure his life will be destroyed, no one will ever respect him again, his parents will disown him, and he’ll end up living in a gutter shooting up heroin with an HIV infested needle because somebody found out he was wearing shoe lifts. So you’re a psychologist and can diagnose someone from a couple of Reddit comments?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 08:44 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 08:33 PM

Well it is good to question social norms and point out things that are flawed or else nothing ever changes. I’m just saying that guys might as well do whatever they can (legally) to give themselves an advantage in the dating market, women certainly do with makeup, hair extensions, etc. If people did find out that a guy was wearing shoe lifts and frown upon him, so be it, why should he care?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 08:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 08:22 PM

But you just said guys wear them for the extra height. There are plenty of shoes that are comfortable that don’t have a super thick heel. Everyone wants to look as good as possible. Is it bad when men wear well-fitting clothes, or a nice suit, or get a nice haircut?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 08:20 PM
3

Only 15% of the US population of men is 6 feet or over, so yes, 6 feet is tall. And in a lot of countries it’s a much lower percentage than that. Maybe this is too hard for you to comprehend, sorry for confusing you.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 08:16 PM
0

Yea that’s essentially the same thing as what I’m talking about doing, except you could wear whatever shoes you want as long as they could be worn with lifts. Nobody calls guys pathetic for wearing boots to give themselves an extra inch, but so many people are butthurt that a guy would wear lifts. It doesn’t make any sense.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 06:34 PM
1

4 inch lifts yes, 2 inch lifts no. Obviously you would want to be wearing shoes that go up to your ankles, so your heel isn’t almost coming out of the shoe. 2 inches will not make a guy look disproportionate enough for women to notice.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 06:32 PM
3

2 inches won’t change you from being unattractive to a slayer, but I could see it giving you a substantial edge. Like raising your attractiveness by half a point.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 06:29 PM
1

I see your point, but we live in a society where people are always being told to be themselves and we’re told not to judge women by how they dress, so if a man likes to wear lifts it is very hypocritical of people to call him pathetic. Also, I’m talking about 2 inch lifts, which no one who doesn’t know you well is going to be able to tell you’re wearing, so it’s not like anyone will say or even think you’re pathetic in public.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 06:28 PM
6

I totally agree. Also, if your goal is to form a relationship, maybe wearing lifts will make her initially attracted to you enough to give you a chance and then the two of you will get to know each other and form a bond and she won’t care that much when she sees that you’re a little shorter than she thought, whereas if you weren’t wearing the lifts she might not have been initially attracted to you enough to even get to know you. That’s exactly the same as a girl who looks a lot better with make…

/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 06:12 PM

How is that not a fair comparison? I’m not allowed to think that I look better in my clothes when I’m wearing shoe lifts, but women are allowed to think they look better wearing heals? Fashion is entirely subjective, duh
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 06:10 PM
2

Ok, that’s fine as long as you subscribe to the belief that men and women are inherently different, and not one of those politically correct people who basically thinks that women and men are exactly the same besides their genitals and that any difference between men and women such as career paths is entirely the result of discrimination and not because men and women are different
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/20 06:09 PM

An attractive man has a reason to be confident with women because he is rejected far less and has success with women, a below average man or even average man gets rejected hundreds of times and may have never had success with women, which is obviously going to make him less confident hitting on women because he knows he is likely to fail.
