This really bothers me. They were in a fucking melee; she knew she was in an all-out brawl. If the fighting has already started, then a punch like that is hardly a big deal. She's on one side fighting, and he's on the other. I don't see what's so bad with him knocking her out.

That's what he mans with the "that isn't the reality" line. He'd like to view neither as deadbeats, but in this world where one is viewed as deadbeat, it's only right that the other should be viewed as deadbeat as well.

"I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he didn't show any emotion the entire trial," juror Sharon Anderson said. "All he did was sit there and twirl his pen." That's the only line in the article that bothers me. Fuck evidence, let's put our faith in the fact that the guy looks like a rapist! That being said, after reading the article, it sounds like the guy was a rapist. Is this posted here because you think it's bullshit the guy was convicted? I don't see how it's bullshit, but…

It's elementary school. At that age, it's best to tell kids that it's okay to lose and that the whole point is for them to enjoy themselves and the game. If they're told that losing should make them feel bad, then the losers are going to lose interest in the sport and not continue on with it. If they're told losing is okay and they actually have fun win or lose, then there's a better chance they'll be interested in learning how to do better and continuing on.

You linked to the wrong "Pon de Floor" music video. Here's the correct one.

That would be absolutely hilarious. I can imagine him being interviewed while a woman runs around on fire in the background.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
