Miami is not a place for genuine connections. It’s for rich people to flex, I wouldn’t take genuine dating culture from Miami experiences.

If you’re working with someone day in day out, fwb is ideally the best option.

Easy answer, find something she wants to complain about. Preferably work related, girls love to vent. Even easier if it’s gossip about someone

Follow her home maybe?

It’s not a bad financial decision is the point that I’m making. It’s just a shitty practice because it preys on desperate people, which is pretty common these days in unregulated capitalism. There isn’t any way to prove what they’re doing with their algorithms, but plenty of anecdotal evidence to suggest they are doing that.

The business model of keeping people on your app instead of getting dates seems pretty profitable to me.

Women still want you to do the work. That’s also a turn on for them.

If you want to look at women as confusing otherworldly beings for the rest of your life, read/follow The Game. If you want to connect to women, realize they are just people like you.

Like most things, this depends on the woman.

Do you have any other advice on this? I've definitely had times where an initial "How are you" or " How was your day" seemed like I got a bad reaction and kind of ruined the mood of the conversation. Any other advice on maintaining value offering instead value drawing?

You're making excuses. When you get out of your "situation", you're gonna find another excuse why you cant get out there yet. Of course you need to change your mindset. You knew that before you even posted this.

One pieve of advice I read on here that helped me a lot in terms of story telling and holding people's attention is that people aren't going to be interested in what you have to say if you aren't interested in what you have to say.

Unless he makes all of his dates take IQ test, that's grade A bullshit.

The roomate idea is good because living in a city is always more expensive. It's also good just because going out with friends is a bit easier to party and pickup girls, but you certainly dont need a roomate to go out with friends.

In an unrelated note, what's a good response to someone telling you that you look familiar? I can't figure out the thought process of someone asking that, or the response they were looking for. Do they actually think you look familiar or is that just a way to start talking to you. and even then, should you respond to something like that by directly addressing the statement? I realize this post is really caught up in "game theory", something I don't like to overthink, but it's something i've been…

I agree that you shouldn't give girls too many chances. But it's very possible that her having to work the next morning was a legit reason to not hang out that night. I wouldn't call that BS w/o proof. You may have been over thinking things

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
