I gotta say , that seems high making 57k and her making 2300 a month. What constitutes expenses? Obviously if I may ask.

I have a question: you said she was awarded the marital home. Does this means that you have no say so? Did you have the option to force a sale? What if there’s a lot of equity? I’m asking because, honestly if I can’t have my house I be dam if she gets to stay.

Quick claim gets you off the deed but not off the mortgage. You have no rights to the house but responsible for payment. She needs to refinance or bank takes you off.

New Boyfriend? I might tempted to discuss the situation with him, you don’t have to like or agree with him. Your goal is to get what you want

I’m at fault for staying as long as I have . She never wanted to do better for herself working low pay jobs by choice, married 27 years she contributes 20% income semi part time She is more than capable of working for more money. She choose to be lazy and I tolerate it. I’m seeing an attorney soon. I don’t get why anyone gets punished for having motivation and drive I don’t mind splitting 50/50 I’ll rebuild more excess what I have now, I don’t mind child support. I’m scared to death of lifetime …

Who you marry is the largest financial decision you will ever make. Trust me , I choose very unwisely. I’m also older and have some knowledge

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
