For all pushy whining responses: "I just don't do that when I'm just getting to know someone. Full stop. I had a nice time. Thank you and good night."

Food: Canned food (mostly vegetables and canned lean meats like salmon, tuna, chicken), frozen packaged foods, fresh veggies and meats that freeze well, potatoes and onions (stored well, last for several weeks). If your personal diet permits, things like potato chips, dried meats and jerky, dried fruit, rice, and boxed pasta will also work well. Bottled water/drinks. Non-food: Shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toilet paper (a reasonable amount, the US has gone insane with this one), tampons/pads (…

Have you asked your doctor about switching to a non-hormonal IUD. A lot of people are extremely sensitive to hormones and have problems even with the localized hormones of an IUD. Non-hormonal might be better for you. It's highly irresponsible of your doctor not to go over potential side effects with you before deciding on a BC method.

This is might not be super helpful... But as someone who is also very short with a round, young looking face, who is continuously complimented as "cute" by men: I've learned to just embrace the cute. Not every woman on earth is meant to be "sexy" I don't think. And "sexy" can be something solely reserved for your partner in the bedroom, instead of an everyday thing. I'm sure my husband finds me sexy at times, but it will never measure up to the number of times he has said, "gosh you are so cute!…

God I wish my husband would eat leftovers. It would make packing his lunch so much easier. He just won't touch them though. Says they don't taste the same after they've been in the fridge overnight. 🤷‍♀️ ETA: That recipe looks amazing!!

You will know it is the right time to get engaged when you both agree that you are ready to get married. My husband and I literally just looked at each other and he basically said, "I guess we should get married now." I followed that by saying, "You're right. We should get married." Plans for engagement and marriage followed. It's silly to say you just know, but you just know when the time comes. There isn't any set formula or steps to follow necessarily.

You could also try giving your hubby a couple choices and letting him make the final decision. I do this often. Meal plan what's for dinner for the week, or think about a couple of things you would like to make for dinner day of, and then offer him 2-3 choices of what you could make that night. My husband has never not chosen dinner using this method. Works for eating out too; pick 2 or 3 things you're ok with eating out and then let him decide where the final destination is.

Opt for an oil free moisturizer. I use the Neutrogena sensitive skin one and it never clogs my pores, despite my lax washing routine. 😉

I just cleanse at night in the shower, and only when my face feels especially dirty or if I've worn makeup that day. Otherwise I just use water and kind of just scrub my face with freshly cleaned hands. But my skin dries out easily with too much cleansing. I have always done this and it has always worked for my specific skin. If your skin is more oily, gets dirty often, gets sweaty during the day, or has clogged pores a lot, you may need a more stringent cleaning routine than I have. Maybe try d…

There are some simple, helpful insights regarding skincare for sensitive skin that could be helpful to you in starting a more extensive skincare journey. Do remember though that skincare is very individualized, as no two people really have the exact same skin and will react differently to everything. Don't use abrasive exfoliation, like any kind of scrubs if you have super sensitive skin. Instead opt for a chemical exfoliator if you're going to use one. Always moisturize. Before bed and in my mo…

The BDSM advice sub will tell you flat out that although you can communicate your likes in the bedroom to your partner and just hope they follow through, you cannot force or coerce someone who is not very sexually dominant to become so. It just doesn't work. A lot of those things you mentioned, although I'll admit to enjoying a lot of them myself, can scare a lot of men and make them feel extremely uncomfortable, especially if they were raised traditionally to treat women as fragile beings and t…

This isn't normal or healthy behavior in a relationship. Abuse needs a pattern of behavior to be established, but I would certainly say that his behavior in this one instance has aspects of abuse and manipulation to it.

Block scheduling could be helpful for you. It'll keep you on track, but give you the flexibility you need here and there. I found it works wonders for me on days when I just feel overwhelmed with everything that has to get done, albeit I don't yet have children.

I have long, slightly wavy hair. My style is casually feminine on most days, so I just wear it natural, in sort of an "undone" fashion. When it comes to hair care, I get a trim anytime I can see or feel my split ends getting bad, usually works out to 2-3 times a year. I use a phthalate free shampoo and condition my hair often. If it feels especially dry, I use a hair mask to bring back some of the moisture. If for some reason I need to have my hair looking more done, I use a texturizing spray an…

If you just need something to drink and it isn't necessarily an issue with you "needing" alcoholic drinks, why not give yourself a cut off point when in social drinking situations? I'm a binge drinker when I drink. Either I consume one alcoholic drink and stop, or I keep going until everyone else at the house party is absolutely done or is throwing up. I've just never been a lightweight for some reason, and I'm just a sleepy drunk so it doesn't matter much. But in public, or anywhere I might do …

I agree with you. But a logo on some pad packaging just isn't the hill I wanna die on. Female erasure within female sports? Yeah maybe we can have a conversation surrounding that, because it seems like it is actually becoming far more impactful every day. But packaging logos? Who really cares if they're changing and why they're doing so?

Seems you have a somewhat selfish lover on your hands. One that only sees his own sexual pleasure as necessity and doesn't really want to hear about it if you aren't satisfied or need a little something more. I have one too. You are allowed to feel however that makes you feel. Feeling unwanted and undesired because of this is justified and normal. You can try some things that might help to fix it though. Start by being honest. Remove the words "it's fine" from your vocabulary. This was the harde…

Do not sleep with coworkers...ever. End of discussion. I don't care if you're single, in an open/poly relationship, or just plain cheating. Sleeping with a coworker will never be a good idea and will very often blow up in your face like you're currently experiencing. Practical advice: *Go to HR to complain about the coworker spreading stories of your private sexual escapades to everyone else. Technically what he did falls under sexual harrassment. *Start looking for a new job and move on knowing…

I think some men like sassy women. Women who challenge them a bit and give them a game to play. But it's a push/pull. No man wants a woman that is just a bitch all the time. They would be miserable to be around. Men also may perceive that attractive women act bitchy, and "I want attractive women" thus "I must want a bitchy woman". But truly attractive women aren't always bitchy, and if they are acting that way in public, it may just be to push people away in a sense. I do this in public, put on …

You should only loose up to 8 pounds a month in order to do it healthily and make it last. But loose skin is largely dependent on skin elasticity (determined by your genetics) and how much weight you have to loose. It doesn't matter what way you choose to lose the weight, that doesn't factor in to having loose skin. If you're going to have it, you'll have it either way.

I'd say that it is possible for them to go hand and hand, but for me personally, those are always two separate spaces. Sub space is not submissive wife space. My roles for those two things vary wildly and it works better if I don't intermingle them in my life. Essentially, it stays within the bounds of the bedroom. And I'll refrain from going into any more detail about that.

You can choose to do whatever you want. You seem to be very aware of the upsides and downsides of the decision and more than capable to make an informed decision. Personally I chose not to wait until marriage. Instead I waited until engagement for PIV sex and we did other things before that starting at around 4 months together. We ended up married, so I guess no harm, no foul? But I chose not to wait all the way until marriage because I felt like engagement, diamond ring and all, was enough of a…

I prefer knitting and crocheting as a hobby. It's hard on the hands but gives you something tangible and useful at the end of your hobbying spree. I also like the online and offline communities surrounding it. Online communities are full of positivity. If you have no trouble making friends with older ladies, there are often knitting and crocheting classes and group sessions at local yarn shops. My local shop does classes, and for more advanced knitters they hold a group knitting session once per…

I wouldn't let it ruin your mood for the day, but I would just walk away. You have no idea if he may have some obligation to the other woman that approached (bf, husband, etc) and if the guy is actually more interested in you and wants to talk to you, he will. Some other woman trying to say hello would only distract him for like 5 seconds before he turns back to finish his conversation. Don't give people who don't want to talk to you your attention. If they are turning away from you mid-conversa…

Pretty much any color can be feminine. It depends how you wear it. You should do some research on color theory, which focuses on what emotions you evoke from others depending on the colors you wear. You may not actually like what kind of message certain colors may subconsciously be transmuting to others. For instance, yellow in spring and summer can be a beautiful, bright, feminine color. But it can also be an intense turn off for a good portion of the population. A lot of people just don't like…

When my husband decided to be intimate with someone else, I actually decided to forgive him and reconcile after he called off the extramarital relationship. But it was for one very unique and distinct reason that isn't applicable to most people's cases: he was honest about it and her, and never tried to hide the affair from me. I knew this woman. I met her, several times. I stood back while my husband got whatever he needed to get from that situation, and then was ultimately there when he return…

I'm not gonna lie to you. It wasn't fun and it did hurt. But if you take a lot of Ibuprofen beforehand and remember to breathe and cough when the Dr asks you too, it really just feels like two really awful cramps and then it's done. I felt better within an hour, went to breakfast and everything. And I'm one of the lucky ones with side effects, because my cramps are just the return of my normal period cramps. My period is heavier, but I'm still lucky on that one because it's basically just 2 days…

Getting off hormonal birth control was the best decision I ever made for my body and my marriage. But it's mostly for personal reasons, like how my mental health was wearing on my relationship. I wouldn't caution people away from it entirely due to a few negative reactions, mostly because non-hormonal options are so limited and they still won't work for everyone. Keep working with your doctor and you'll eventually find the option that works for you.

Listen to what he wants to do, especially if you tend to be the planner type. It's very easy to get caught up in the awe of a vacation and a fun trip and to end up not actually listening to what your spouse wants to do too. Hubby and I just went on a vacation alone together for the first time in the last 4 years. We hadn't had that kind of thing since we first got married. We went out of the country, which is awesome. There is definitely attractive privilege, but this could also be something else. If your confidence is lacking around your friends, maybe that is shining through to the men doing the approaching. Women with low self confidence are often viewed by the world how they view themselves. So if you feel uncomfortable, you're going to look uncomfortable. If this is your issue, you can try giving yourself a hard look in the mirror and finding something nice about yourself that is solely unique to you; fi…

Remember to eat. For the love of God, eat...all day not just at the wedding. So many brides forget to eat and then end up feeling faint or lightheaded. Also, try and relax and enjoy it. I mean I would say it's kind of personal preference. My arm hair is blonde and can't be seen unless you're a few inches away from my arms, so I don't really care to get rid of it. It would be kind of useless for me. But for women with naturally very dark arm hair, maybe they don't like it and think they look better without it. Simply having the hair doesn't make you more or less feminine though. That hair is biologically meant to be there for a specific purpose, a purpose which you may or may no…

I'm kinda ehh... on this topic. Birth control has advanced so far it does provide significant freedom to women to engage in casual sex as much as they want, and that can be a negative thing, as well as the fact that they and their partner aren't really getting intune with their body and fertility cycles and how it all works. But also, I have thoroughly enjoyed having birth control with my husband, as it keeps us from having accidental pregnancies without having to put lots of thought and effort …

All men look at their options even when they're in committed relationships. But a lot of men have the character to not act on those urges because they don't want to risk ruining the relationship they already have.

I mean I feel like most people would say no younger than 25, because you need time to establish yourself and foster a healthy relationship first. But in reality, it's not like turning specifically 25 will make you magically ready to have kids, and neither will turning specifically 30. When to have kids is one of those personal things that kind of just falls between you, hubby, and God. I would say relationship stability and financial stability are far better measures than a particular age.

Depends. Do you live in the South? Because my southern mamma taught me growing up that making breakfast for dinner was absolutely acceptable. There were a lot of fresh gravy and biscuits nights when I was a kid. And they happen in my home as well, albeit less frequently. A home cooked meal is a home cooked meal. It doesn't really matter what it consists of as long as everyone at the table will eat it.

I actually met my husband in first grade. We lived in the same neighborhood. Grew up together and played together all through elementary school. We reconnected in high school when we were assigned as lab partners for chemistry class sophomore year. Our friendship turned romantic over the summer where we proceeded to be each other's firsts for everything. We've now been together for 8 years and married for 4.

No....he has said straight to my face he still would prefer the blonde if he didn't have to shell out the $100/month it would take to keep it that way. It has nothing to do with how he sees me and everything to do with our bottom line when it comes to the family budget. Some gentlemen honestly do prefer blondes, even on those they view as wives and mothers.

Hair color is personal preferance. Statistically, you might be more likely to be wed as a brunette but that doesn't mean you should only ever have brown hair. It can be a bit boring after all, and the guy you inevitably end up with may hate brunettes. My husband before we got married always preferred my hair with artificial blonde highlights. I know because I asked in order to make myself more appealing to him after we had been committed for some time. Those highlights, as statistically unlikely…

I understand that point of view I guess. It just seemed from some of your comments that you had entirely resigned yourself to not going. You could go in the future yes, but it doesn't change the fact you will be alone while he travels when you could have taken the time to be with your family.

I'm very confused by this. You say it's important to you and that you were excited, but instead of going to your husband and/or parents to find a more reasonable way to work around the expenses issue, you seem to have just resigned yourself to not going whatsoever. Taking the dogs with you on the trip to your parents or asking a friend to come in and feed and walk them are both more viable options to resolving the issue than just not going. So is budgeting ahead of time so you can both enjoy you…

People get married and have kids when they're ready to. There is no magical number. Most of it is about the maturity to stick to commitment and knowing that everyone will change no matter who you enter a relationship with. And the kid thing....well that really depends on how many kids one wants to have in the first place. People are just as likely to grow apart in the same amount of time whether they got married at 21 or at 30. Growing into a different person is just what people do every 5-10 ye…

This is really important. Although her being overworked is an important aspect of this, so is the statement that she can't quit her second job because of financial stresses. This is a huge red flag for either enormous amounts of debt and/or bad spending habits. Both of those things don't bode well for a peaceful marriage on top of one partner being overworked. They need to take a harsh look at the finances and find places to cut back, as well as her considering dropping the second job.

Why can't you just say, "I'm sorry. I see where you're coming from but I just disagree." You are being insincere if you tell him he's right when you still disagree and think he's wrong. And eventually, he will see right through lies like that like he did this time.

Perhaps. I have had a consistent VIP subscription for several years now. Everything since I've been in it has been ultra transparent. The one time I did forget to "skip" and I was charged, they were more than forward with how to request a refund for that, and as far as I know you can now go online and just hit cancel VIP to end your subscription. Just tell them straight up. Men especially don't seem to like it when you beat around the bush and don't tell them what you're actually trying to say. But evaluate whether what you say is outright mean or just forward. If it is actually mean, try to soften the blow by changing your language a bit.

I honestly just tell people with negative thoughts the honest truth. My husband goes to work to earn money for our family. I do pretty much everything else, even some more "masculine" chores. My husband has a very relaxing life at home, and most wives who stay home are very proud of that. It is also important to distinguish here I think, that "drive for a career" and "poor work ethic" are not one in the same. I actually agree with the sentiment "you'll never be ready for kids". You can continuously financially and mentally prepare for them, but that money starts to seem like it could go towards something else much nicer and kids can be pushed down the road a bit after it sits for a while. My husband and I just went through this: we had saved up quite a decent chunk of money, certainly enough to relieve the anxiety of having kids, and instead we decided to buy a property for investment purposes. Did you not see on that list that "tub and tile cleaner" is not acidic at all but can still be corrosive? Still the bathroom has to be cleaned with something doesn't it. The truth is, there is no perfect solution. Everything on that list, everything you could possibly use to clean a bathroom, has a downside to it somewhere. You can choose to clean with whatever you want and should probably base your decision entirely on your specific situation. I don't have grout in/near my shower, so acids like…

I've never had a problem with that....but then again I use it to clean the silver hardware and scrub the tub with actual cleaners myself. She's asking for alternatives. If vinegar is too strong for the caulking to hold up, I don't even want to know what normal household cleaners do to it.
/r/RedPillWomen06/11/18 01:21 PM

Mixes of baking soda and vinegar, even lemon juice, can often work well for cleaning a bathroom for things like soap scum and general build up. Just let it sit for a few minutes and really go at with a spare toothbrush. For disinfecting, you might need something stronger though. If all else fails, maybe try opening the windows and running the exhaust fan while you're cleaning the bathroom?

Cheat day is not a "lie". Being healthy, especially when you're doing it all the time, means you'll eventually just want to let go for just one day. And that is fine. You can mitigate the damage done on your cheat day by not having your cheat day at home. Don't stock the house with unhealthy foods. If you're going to eat poorly, at least give your mind the inconvenience of having to leave home to do so. Also, make your "cheat day" into one or two cheat meals instead. Simple answer, no. 112 pounds is still within the acceptable "ideal" range for bodyweight for someone your height. Longer answer. It's complicated. It comes down to how your body is structured and how your individual body carries that weight. I agree with this. I was sort of turned off after reading it because I felt like it's somehow "not ok" to value non-conservative political ideologies and at the same time be a traditionalist in your personal life. That just isn't true though. You can still prefer traditional gender roles and feminity, and at the same time think some liberal/leftist policies make sense.
