I dont think this is specific to you, I think this is women responding to incel culture, and wanting to be as gentle towards men’s feelings as possible

It’s kinda gross that you’re so concerned with them being <25 man

You realise that using and withdrawing attention for the purpose of gaining love is abusive, right? That’s literally a core tenant of emotional abuse (see: the four horseman)

Bro nobody owes you anything in life, including women

“But I don’t see myself in a relationship [with you]” The “with you” is unspoken. As a woman, I don’t say this to guys I’m interested in.

This is a bit of a victimised stance my friend, subtlety is a normal part of flirting. It’s not “disingenuous and misleading.” It’s part of building tension (and men do the same).

I’ve only ever told guys I’m crushing on that they’re cute 🤷‍♀️ Have legit never called them handsome. I don’t know why, but saying cute has more plausible deniability than handsome, so I use it when I’m too chicken to be obvious about things.

I think it shows poor character, yeah, and would be turned off - not because you’re sleeping with your ex, but because you’re potentially sending mixed messages and therefore playing with the feelings of someone who sounds like they’d happily get back with you. It’d also raise alarm bells as to whether you’d be at risk of getting back with any of your exes given it’d highlight that you’re not the kind to leave those doors closed.

Sooooo your strategy is to punish her rather than communicate about it? Again, solid foundation for a healthy relationship 🙃

I immediately cut off men like you 😂 This is not the strategy you think it is, and the other commenter is right that if this is the best thing you have to “give” to a connection you’re gonna be on struggle street

Bro she’ll get to 27-28 and move on, by which time you’re mid-late 30s. Women who are submissive at 21 don’t often stay that way.

Literally just be your decent, authentic self. You can tell a mile away when a guy “escalates” on a date because he’s got these dumbass rules in his head 😂 It feels contrived and at worst manipulative, and tbh if I’m not interested in you it’s not going to change that. If I’m super attracted to a guy I will initiate touch myself, but whether or not that’s on the first or third date can be situational. I don’t stress over it because if the mutual attraction is there it’ll come, and it’s kinda fun…

Sweet summer child. You’re clearly unaware as to how many influencers use slimming filters 🤣

In my view it is a minority of women online, who are unfortunately often first to comment, who scream “leave her alone, she’s there to workout” (and similar) as loud as they can. It’s misleading. In practice a lot of women would either appreciate being approached, or else would just be normal (and possibly also flattered) and politely decline. Don’t drink the angry minorities cool aid.

Depending on my headspace (not helped by alcohol 😅) I might have done this in a moment I feared you disappeared to grab a weapon. Sounds melodramatic but as women were trained to need to be on high alert, sadly often validly. It could be the cleanliness in the apartment, a change of heart, or sudden fear, but I think the fact that she came back with you says you did well to connect and vibe with her initially. Take that as evidence of the nights success and the abrupt departure as an upsetting a…

What kind of schmuck bro science is this 😂 if I send a pic I’m in and the guy doesn’t heart or compliment I assume he’s not attracted to me

I think it’s more respectful to be honest with someone than to “give her a chance” despite having already determined it wasn’t going to work. She’s not a puppy or a child that needs to be protected, you’re both looking for the same thing, and when you determine it’s not there you face that reality (not confuse others with mixed signals). Sounds like you felt peeved that she rejected you, thus bypassing your option to do the same

As a gal, nothing turns me off a guy more quickly than these games 🙃 Maybe you could invite her to collaborate with you more in early stages (“we could go to XYZ places. Which would you prefer?”) so as not to feel so one sided. Otherwise, I’d reconsider your “push” strategy and whether or not this is really the problem.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
