I have trouble finding one man I truly like and feel chemistry with. When I do meet someone like that I’m usually too focused on him to have the time or desire to seek others.

Glad you realized your worth. How long were you in this and did you formally end it or just ghost? I’m somewhat in one now so would love to hear ! Thanks :)

How old are you and him? That means a lot. If a girl is 30+ and a guy is being FWB with her, it shows he doesn’t care wasting her time and fertility, and doesn’t care about locking her down imo. They know you are running out of time and don’t care.

I have been sleeping with the same person on/off but mostly very on, for 3 years. We also have a lot of fun together and are compatible but he has certain issues with commitment and we’ve never made it official. I’m 25 and he’s 32. I’ve been going on dates because I really want to get married and have a family, and haven’t found anyone I like at all or enjoy being around. The guy I hook up with has his faults of course, but I know that I enjoy his company and he’s also 100% able to fully provide…

Did you ever talk again?

I feel you girl. Don’t let it drag on for 3 years like I did. The sad thing is we stopped talking last summer after a fight, I deleted his number and we didn’t speak for 5 months. I met someone else I actually caught feelings for (shocker- I’ve only had feelings for like 2 people in the last few years). Things didn’t work out with that guy but it helped me get over my FWB or whatever he is. Then he texted me around Christmas, we reunited and have hung out almost every week since New Years. I tho…

Are you seeing anyone currently?

I didn’t either. Have been hooking up with the same guy on and off for 3 years. We had sex last Friday and he didn’t even respond to my last text from a few days ago. I already decided I’m done sleeping with him and will only be his friend the last time we had sex. I am just over his lack of effort and ready for something serious.

The truth hurts sometimes! Cut your loss and move on.

That is insanely dumb and a waste of time imo. How many people do you date at once that you would even need to do that...

No I’m saying he initiated a new conversation the next day....

Ok, I don’t get why he would make a point to go on five dates with me if he’s not interested and he’s a busy person. Usually if you don’t like someone things don’t even go past 1 or 2 dates.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m super confused about it and it’s starting to cause me stress because I really like him. He’s 36 and I’m 26, he runs his own company so is really busy. We’ve been on 5 dates all initiated by him (about once a week since we’ve met), however between dates we literally haven’t texted other than usually me reaching out and just saying hi, and then him initiating plans. We have a lot of chemistry together and he even said that. We had sex on the 3rd date but he was horribl…

This is something I'm super confused about. I've been on 5 great dates with this guy (once a week since we met), but between dates he barely texts me at all. He's older and runs his own company, and he's said he's bad at texting...but I don't know what to think anymore.

Other than this he has every single quality I want in a guy which is rare, and we have chemistry (which is also very rare).

He has initiating communication at times, but usually the day after I text him.

But did you read the post? He has been bad at texting since I met him. Since even prior to our first date.

What did you share and how many dates did you go on?

Yeah I would never cancel a date with someone I like. Life is fragile, take every opportunity you can. Also I tend to date really high quality men, the guy I’m seeing now runs his own business and is a millionaire, he is busy as ever and is a catch, I’m not playing games with him. In fact, I’m texting him first a lot which is something I almost never do with men

But playing games isn’t worth it. If you meet someone you really love, don’t cancel a date to play hard to get. If you’re truly meant to be you will end up together regardless.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
