This is it OP, the guy most likely has a gf or is married.

This is why I’m saying, just take it off the table OP. See how this guy blames you for the actions of these men. The fault will always fall on you. It’s not the guys lying/ not being upfront or even intentionally tricking you, the “real problem” is actually your fault for not being very good at picking them. There is an irony that this is a subreddit showing men how to coerce/ manipulate women into sex (game theory)… and yet the women are punished for falling for it. It will never be their fault…

I think all of that works from a male perspective, but that’s not what the post is about. It’s how to help this woman navigate time wasters who want to use her body. Your advice will only make HER more vulnerable

I agree with a lot of what you said! I am pretty specifically talking about avoiding doing it early. I’ve gotten a lot of great comments from men who say sex needs to be within 2-3 weeks, otherwise it’s a deal breaker and they’re moving on. Alot of men feel this way with most of the women they come across (and then dispose of) and I am saying to OP that these are the exact men you’re trying to avoid- And they’re even telling you how you avoid them! So I would encourage OP to listen. These are no…

You’re kind of telling on yourself here, that all you want is sex but you’re willing to humour a woman for a couple weeks to get it. That doesn’t offer a woman much and tbh proves my point a little, that a woman should wait it out.. if OP wants something serious (which is the topic of this post), she has to navigate the men who will tolerate dates for a couple weeks just to smash. It’s hard, because we are talking about some hypothetical relationship and this isn’t a man or a woman that you’re i…

Thank you! I’m actually happily married! Just enjoy chatting and educating :) I lived by this advice and ended up in a really fulfilling and healthy relationship. I know it’s worth doing and I saved a lot of heartache by waiting them out. OP - you will not lose out on a great guy by waiting- I didn’t. You will only skip out on the time wasters and users

Yeah, and that discussion is really important for men to have - so I’m glad it’s been popular. Men do need to learn rotating through women is ultimately unfulfilling and soulless. A genuine connection comes with so many benefits for men, no one benefits more than they do! My point was moreso for women who really need to learn the predatory ways they are being engaged with by men- and how to move forward in the world, knowing that you really need to have your wits about you with all of them

Yeah. You make a great point, you do have to be careful what you disclose bcos it can easily be used against you. Ie, “I only sleep with guys I’m dating”. So everything he says will be framed around appearing like a bf, meet ups are dates etc. lots of future promising… trying to take you off the market before you can properly qualify him You just have to play the slow game. Which is the opposite advice you give to men. I would encourage all women to keep things light, be warm and friendly, get g…

Yeah, they have every incentive to lie. It is all upside and the only downside is a sense of morality, which let’s be honest- we don’t even encourage in men when it comes to sexual conquest. So you can’t expect it. I’m repeating myself, but OP.. the smartest thing you can do if you want something serious is to completely remove sex from the table. “I only sleep with men I’m in a serious, dating relationship with” ; “I do not go into apartments of men who aren’t my bf”. Those sort of boundaries w…

I stand by the comment, pumping the brakes on sex is one of the smartest things a woman can do. It’s definitely a protective measure and weeds out a lot of guys, especially ones who are not serious. It seems like OP has a pattern of someone vying very hard for her energy, attention and time- only to waste it when she gives them intimacy. Rereading your comment Large Log… you can see why men are struggling. None of what you say is really of value to anyone else. It’s literally so selfish. It’s re…

A lot depends on culture, but I would take a step back and always try gauge the chemistry. That will tell you most things… I understand men view PIV as the ultimate validation symbol but there is a whole world leading up to that point I made my now husband wait a little over a month, we saw each other 3+ times a week at that stage as well.. but we had incredible chemistry from the start. Some of the comments saying 5 or even just a specific number are giving a bit of a juvenile perspective. Wome…

The Rock is also beloved by women, physically super masculine but his personality is so warm, welcoming and that’s such a charming combo

Just make sure you’re also getting checked out health wise (if it’s not common in your family). 18 is pretty young to be balding… As for seduction… not to sugarcoat, yes it will hurt your broader appeal, but if you can’t do much about it.. best to just work around it. Some women don’t care and some even like it…

I never did… my taste is more athletic/ hunky guys with a youthful face… so goes against the type and old man crepey skin irks me a bit. Use spf guys! 😂 But I know one gf who was around 20-22 who liked guys in their early-mid 30s. She considered that an older guy.. she’s 24, almost 25 now and she seems more into guys under 30 now. Definitely none of my friends from uni. The girl I mentioned is the only one that comes to mind Maybe they did in private though!

Most women in the west like men around their own age. That’s the norm/ majority But then, like with all things- some people are more into a specific thing. It’s similar to how some men are really into blondes, while others don’t see the appeal. Or some girls really like beards on a man, others don’t. Some girls just really like older guys, they like the vibe and/ or the look. I’d say it’s niche I’m female, late 20s and married to a man 4 years older. All my friends and every woman I know who is …

I would avoid saying the hitting on (or not hitting on ) other girls… it can back fire and the girl can assume you do this all the time/ are sleazy. I’d say, you don’t like to interrupt a workout but her smile is interrupting yours, so it’s only fair… she’ll laugh and just say you’re playing… and then keep it short and sweet. Find out if she’s single, organise a date or grab details and keep it moving.. You may have some smile exchanges, a wave good bye and then see her later on

As a taller woman myself (5’9ish)- it can be a real turn on walking around and being with a shorter guy. You feel really leggy, really sexy- almost like a rare bird or something. I think of Jason Statham and his taller wife Rosie Huntington-Whitely- I bet she loves being taller Don’t be insecure, she probably loves it too. You’ve already got the date - go have the best time. I remember this one guy said “you’re tall enough to make me look like a billionaire” and I thought that was great

I think for large age gaps, you need a girl whos specific type is an older guy. I think the scenario you’re describing typically translates to just friendship and enjoying the company of a man with some personality. I will never forget being at this bar (I’m a woman) and these guys (late 20s/ 30ish) came up to us (mid 20s) and they had a friend- maybe 50s with them. The music was pumping and the old guy was doing the funniest dance moves- bending down, really moving around. It was so funny, he w…

Life experience also factors into this. I think a lot of people who date much younger - often complain they can’t find anyone on an intellectual level or all they get is a mismatch. When it could be a complete mismatch in life experience. The person very well could have a complimentary level of intellect but the distance in life experience is just too broad to connect properly I think that’s why the rule of 10 years +/- works so well. My husband is 8 years older than me - but he was a late bloom…

Depends on the severity of autism, but I don’t think people mind if you have the other things and treat someone well. My husband has some OCD like quirks that I find endearing and after initially being curious about what was going on… they don’t bother me at all. It makes him him. People on this page would absolutely call my husband a Chad and he has a great salary, but I am a former model and still turn heads in most rooms- so that would make me a Stacey? I don’t know the terms that well, but w…
