You go too far to mimic the characteristics of a deranged psychopath, it's gonna take a toll on your mental health and affect your sense of self, especially if you already have underlying issues with your mental health. I think it's a similar situation that David Bowie sings about in The Man Who Sold The World where his Ziggy Stardust -character had almost become an identity of its own and he had this feeling of not knowing who he is anymore.

After my latest breakup and a brief period of "dating" a new woman, I just realised that my life is just more peaceful, stable, free and fulfilling without women. I don't want to waste my time on stupid drama and bullshit women eventually bring. I also realised that I am not exactly "relationship material" myself as I tend to lose my feelings towards the woman I am dating or I am in a relationship with very easily, so it just not worth the hassle for me.
