Don't waste your time with these dudes. They're clearly compensating for time lost and being wack in general.

She WAS intelligent about some things that I couldn't talk to most people about. We were both punks, and in several ways, exhibitionists, heartbreakers, and troublemakers. In a way, it was kind of like dating me. The challenge got old, and I realize what was actually going on was that I was dating an immature person who blamed everyone else for everything, imagined secret male societies, and would never grow as a result. It got old being blamed for EVERYTHING and having someone watch everything …

When I think about it, I guess it was more like two years ago. At first, she claimed to be "an equalist." Okay, good deal. Anyway, as we got further and further along, everything was designed by males to be against her, and she was a complete victim in the world. More and more, she went from a reasonable student, to a bitter person who held things against everyone for encouraging the male gaze in some form. After everything started becoming my fault, she had to be reduced to someone I don't see …

Get over yourself. What do you have to be so proud of? He has tons of women and a successful life. Even if you have what you call a successful life, you have zero women. He is in a way, specifically offering you the chance to get insight on how to get more women than zero. Hmm...

Personally, it's just another avenue for you to look like the man, or look like a fool, IMO. Your choice. Just have others read your page (others who might be more neutral than unconditional friends) and let you know the impression that they get. Again, try to make yourself look social and in demand. Humorous and someone that others should want to get to know. I've used FB to meet people, and definitely get a few girls in my time.

Add the e-mail archives to that as a group read. Combined with the videos that explain quite a bit of the material in detail, and you have a bit to work with for awhile. (Cocky Comedy, etc.) A little down the road I would add "The Game + Mystery Method."[

It's good if you're very shy. I "got" a date early on, but already knew quite a bit about PUA, bla bla bla, and was just reading it as literature, not for help. The book contains things like, reaffirmation (learning how to view yourself), recording your voice, listening to it, then restructuring it to talk like a man, bla bla bla. You go on to do things like, call strangers and ask them to recommend movies, and giving strangers compliments. It's all the parts of the whole for people new to the g…

At the same time, if you practice bad form, it's just ingrained. As a result, it's good to limit your practice sets. That's why you have to read and analyze. GROWTH is key. NOT mindless repetition of what you do incorrectly. Ask any athlete. Quotes can be misleading.

David DeAngelo (Double Your Dating, Cocky & Funny, E-mail archives if you can find them). Neil Strauss (The Game, Rules of the Game) Mystery (Mystery Method) While you're reading those things, get out there, mix it up, meet people, grow, etc. When you start to get a hold of it, read up on nonverbal communication (body language), social linguistics, etc. Learn what you can scientifically about the social field.

"The creepiness thing is when the guy is already and obviously not wanted and yet he invents excuses repeatedly that she continually turns down." Sorry, that's not objectively true. Creepy can (and often is), when you exhibit certain sorts of behavior that are seen as "off-based" or "underhanded." Are you saying that you can't be creepy if you and someone haven't met? Obviously, this isn't the case. He began setting off those alarms when he gave her something like an AFC. Most likely, instead of…

Nix her. You should have back-up plans, and multiple people you're "seeing," to the degree that it shouldn't matter. If she's your date for "the week," you're not doing your duty as a PUA. Two things. Many girls are just flaky and spoiled at your age. Everyone's growing up. That's the way it is. The better your game gets, the less women will flake as well, vs. coming along for the unique experience of being around you. That's some motivation for getting better. At this point, you're not captivat…

"Most of the really hot girls can only be found in the frighteningly elitist, guest list, expensive venues and even more so at gay/bi places. Why? Because many interesting girls do not want to meet strange guys in typical bars and clubs, even if the guy looks like Brad Pitt!" To combat the rather sexist headline, this can easily apply to not just women, but PUA's as well. Often time, PUA's who don't know what they want, because they lack clear values and drive spend a great deal of their life engaging in one night stands and flings. Why? Because they feel that is the GOAL of PUA, in which case since they've accepted the tactics (merely to combat their lonely lifestyle and ineptitude with women, NOT to bag as many as possible), they unquestionably accept the rest of s…

It depends on the guys and the lair, AND where you are at in your PUA lifestyle. Being a few years ahead of people, when your lair is full of people who just started, well...you know. At least you have wingmen, I guess. Still, some people can't even do that correctly. It's subjective.

Get kinky during the first encounter? Depends, on how long it took to have your first encounter, no? Women you tend to meet "in the field" tend to be wound up, and much of seduction is an effort of disabling alarm systems, so to speak. Would seem that being kinky off the bat is 50/50 (gamble), where they'll either love it, or it's a dealbreaker. Discuss. Otherwise, everything seems like common sense.

Know the music. Take part in the scene. Become knowledgeable. or Two. Approach them as an outsider, who is worth speaking to. You don't want to be with a true scene girl. They are about one thing. Sh*tty music and being fangirls. The ones that aren't really scene girls, but dress the part and just like the music, are able to talk to you about other things, in which case you don't have to do anything different. Escape? Don't fall into it. Personally, if I do, I usually just give it up, as there are so many people out there, and you shouldn't be working at something so close to a vertical, uphill run. The only way that I've found to "counter" this is to come back in a year or two a completely changed, evolved, better person. Makes them go, "who is this," you know?

Didn't I say that the dick measuring contest wasn't the point? The point is to get YOU to realize how to frame yourself as worthwhile in the PUA sense, vs. the traditional "worthwhile" that we learn, that is intangible and worthless "in the field." Those are terrible "special" qualities. What have you done that makes you stand above mere men? What makes you cooler than everyone else in the room? Where have you triumphed and strove where others have failed? Like I said, for me, that's stories of DJ competitions (and I've released an album), I've boxed, done MMA, and weight trained (trained others also), did great on the LSAT, and have my future plans cemented, with backup plans equally as worthwhile and ambitious. I've been in a relationship for 3 years. Thing is though. By having many people, always meeting new people, I upped my chances of meeting that person, as well as feeling that I was worth that person's time (by knowing that I could have other people if I wanted to, and that it wasn't so "difficult). Second is the fact that what I learned is a tool. You could use it for what I used it for, or use it for a more focused effort. But to get it on a meta level, operate fully intuitive, and not spend the rest of your life practicing being a PUA, but instead getting this stuff after a few years so you can move on to other things requires this kind of investment. If you notice, Neil Strauss' last writing had nothing really to do with PUA, besides just becoming a better person. That's because people are supposed to grow up, and evolve beyond chasing vapid twits around.

I disagree. Reading things that disagree is how you build more of an understanding. By seeing different viewpoints, you can pick/choose, and combine things in order to create an even better, custom game. How do you think that evolution of the game happens? If you ever read mPUA's writings, they are always well versed in other guys' material, and it's how they get their start/get somewhere new/develop inner game. Also, what "feels" right is what we're often striving to reformat because of ingrain…

I'm going through this now, at the 3 year point. Really, you have to stand your ground and remain assertive. If you don't like something, say it. Actually, not to sound, "ghey," but communication, instead of cowering is the key. And yes, your hypothesis sounds about right. I was definitely a lot of trouble in the beginning. I'm going to send you PM with some additional materials. First, I'm going to point out that I'm asking you to do these things so that you know your roots, and develop your inner game (have a true understanding of the factors at work). Too many people come into this game wanting tricks, the same way people who want to get in shape all of a sudden want to know the "secrets." Being out of college by two years, I'd say it's like the real world, except you have more chances. Seriously, after you get out of college, it feels like the stream of people to meet is just suddenly cut to a trickle, unless you force yourself to go out all the time, or have the sort of job that keeps you out meeting others. My PUA years were essentially exclusively in college, if you can field more specific questions, or have some sort of situation.

Responsible management of social data at hand. You can use this knowledge of the data to get what you want/have success, or you can leave it all up to chance. Most of the world leaves it up to chance, giving those that make use of the data an advantage. Which side would you like to be on? It's not cheating, as everyone has access to this data.

You're right. Anyway, I wasn't asking him to be logical, so much as to stand his ground so that she's not using her emotions to dominate in the first place, as she'd realize that doesn't fly. Further, when I said epic, I didn't mean "friends" at all. I meant, not to give it an official label, and still have things, but without the expectations and worrying. Good tactics for picking up crazy and insecure women. Not dissing you, per se. You WILL get women, but I've found that you have to evolve your game in order to get women who aren't materialistic tools or eventually overdependent. It's often annoying when writers assume that their readers are hopeless, desperate losers. Problem is, it draws the hopeless, desperate losers in as paying customers. It ultimately results in 50% satisfied customers, and 50% pissed off people (who aren't in the aforementioned category). It's sort of like how every other submission in Fitness assumes that I'm fat and can't do 10 pushups. Same "tactic."
