| 1 | Replacement fatherI created this one, that the mediator said was unique but actually very valid. Unfortunately lots of partners move on too fast and introduce these kids to new boyfriends/girlfriends that are a month fling here and there. It is damaging, and not fair to the child. My wife became very promiscuous and my statement was “I don’t want her waking up to a new guy making her breakfast every two months” - and the mediator agreed. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/24 01:05 PM |
| 1 | Replacement fatherIt’s just like any stipulation in a divorce agreement. All are subject to being broken, but you hope both parties stay true to it. If they don’t you are able to hold them in contempt of court, which could lead to a fine/imprisonment/custody order change/or nothing. It’s just a tool to have in these rough times. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/24 01:03 PM |

| 9 | Any stories of reconciliation after physical separation?I unfortunately agree with the above, mostly because I lived through it. She separated to see what was out there for her, no matter what she told you. If you accept her back it’ll always be on your mind, trust me! | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/24 03:57 AM |
| 2 | Replacement fatherIt’s not too late to add a stipulation into your agreement like I did. My wife was a cheater, and has proceeded to go on multiple dating apps and has relations with god knows who during our separation. Anyways, in order to protect my daughter from meeting “new dad” prematurely I stipulated that any new partner for her or myself needs to be announced and introduced to the opposite spouse, then 6 months later gets introduced to the child. My mediator actually said she never heard of that but that … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/24 03:55 AM |
