Sometimes women settle for BB.

Question, if average women aren’t marrying average men, who are they marrying? No one, cue the "women are choosing to live alone" news articles.

since most men succeed. Most men don't succeed. I think your problem is that you only see men who succeed as "men," and the rest are invisible to you.

For fatalism to make any sense you would have to be able to predict the future with absolute certainty. You can't. Therefor it's rubbish. Then you also can't believe anything else will happen either. Might as well go ahead and suicide, according to your logic. Since humans lack certainty they choose their belief system by whatever matches their emotional predisposition. Like fatalism, perfect for moody edgy teens. Physics don't change because of mood.

Right, I'm not simply "notice things targeting us more often than things targeting the other gender."
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 05:27 AM

No, I think there are far more female trolls than male trolls.

Whether that represents fate or confirmation bias is a philosophical question. No, it is a question of fact, a question of time. That's not even similar at all. How so? Of course it would be quite nice to know you will be hit by a bus on August 23, 2054. But you have no way of knowing whether that's an accurate prediction or not. Unless you choose to render it a self-fullfilling prophecy and arrange to be hit by a bus on August 23, 2054. But in that case you are choosing that destiny. Yup, you'r…

you missed the mark so badly its not even worth explaining. Try me. Why even bother replying? You might as well say "lol, u wrong, loser." But we can leave it as "I destroyed your argument, and you play sour grapes." We can let the audience decide for themselves, I'm okay with that.

I’m sure I am. Because I’m not a therapist. I’m not anyones mommy and it isn’t my job to make them feel good about themselves. That you equate "I’m not a therapist" to attacking the person is all anyone really needs to know. Attack THE IDEAS all you want, but that's not what women like you do: you often shit on the people you disagree with, rather than pointing out the problems with their arguments.

Even if fatalism is correct, it doesn't answer the question of divining a person's specific fate. The burden of proof is on the person telling someone else to hold out hope. If the outcome is fixed and predetermined, but unknowable then is it useful to even know that fatalism is true? Again, the burden of proof is on the person suggesting something else. Worst case scenario, it can't be any less useful than believing a lie. Your question is like asking if it is useful to know if the sun rises in…

Fatalism is one extreme way of thinking, just like every other type of -ism out there. "Extreme" or not, if it's true it is true. Would you reject gravity for being too "extreme"? Your personal experiences have coloured your reality and led you to that conclusion. Everyone's experience's color the way they view reality, it's inescapable. That seems like an argument for trying to be willing to follow the evidence wherever it leads, not against it. But reality is quite literally your mind anyway. …

Apply the idea to whatever you want to apply it to.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 02:49 AM

... case in point
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 02:49 AM

If you can’t handle your ideas being criticized why are you on a debate sub? Oh, I can, it's just that - often - women don't criticize the ideas, they use it as an opportunity to take swipes at men. You are one of the women on this sub that I'm talking about, specifically.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 02:48 AM

If "fatalism" really is the way the world is, then why shouldn't a person believe in it? Isn't believing in the truth better than a lie that is more comforting? The only sensible thing to do is go with what the evidence says, regardless of what conclusions it leads to. Like, you want a man to believe he has at least a small chance, rather than believing he has no chance (fatalism). Okay. You can never know what the future will be, so there's something to that idea. Now, let's say he lives his li…

... no, I'm talking about confusing the issues with value judgements of the person you're talking to. Women here seem to use talking about issues as an excuse to insult the men they're talking about issues with. Women: "Oh, you think dating is a lot harder for men that women? It must be because you're not very attractive."
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 12:35 AM

Men usually stick to the issues, women use the issues as an excuse to insult.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 12:29 AM

Is it just me, or are most of the women here using "discussion" as cover for putting down men? It seems that women on this sub can't separate discussion from insulting the men they're "debating" with. It's usually some form of "... if you think that, then that means you're probably a loser." I was reminded of this by a post from a few days ago calling some point of view "cowardly," as if it wasn't a question of how the world actually is, and more about character. For example, we can't talk about…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
