Story time, slightly related. My dad was deployed to the Middle East 4 times. He never got PTSD, but one of his pet peeves was when my mom, siblings, or myself walking behind him. Nobody says that women can only take care of their children and that's their only purpose. Mad respect for working moms. And my father is very present and caring. However, at the end of the day, if it comes down to it, my mom would rather take a sick day from work to take care for me if I'm sick than my dad. Ok, I'll try to keep things simple for you. The whole "women get paid 70 cents to a man's dollar" is complete horseshit. There's a lot to unpack here. First off, that's what feminism was originally for. Get women the vote, and get them EQUAL. Key word: equal.
