Just because she is a woman doesn't mean she isn't a threat. Her being drunk doesn't make her not a threat. When she reached out to strike someone in the face she was trying to do harm to someone, and it happened to be a cop. We put cops on a pedestal like they are supposed to be superpeople who can handle any situation perfectly. If this lady didn't want to get into an altercation, she could have not attacked the police officer. Whether she deserves it or not is completely the point.

She's going to be really looking for that parole, her sentences were actually 20 years for on a carjacking charge, 15 years for attempted carjacking with a deadly weapon and 15 years for a battery felony. 50 years total. If she doesn't get parole, she can look forward to getting outside when she's almost 70. I think this long sentence was more about keeping her away from general society than rehabilitation.

If there is one thing I would hate about going to jail, it's how it would force me back in time. I remember being a kid and I was always bored as fuck. Now with constant access to facebook, reddit, steam, youtube, ect., I couldn't imagine being stuck in a room with no stimulation.
