Yes so polygamy (one male to male females) is one explanation Other reasons for males not reproducing with anyone 1. Male castration -- In poverty, families have been known to sell off excess children. In some cultures male children could be sold off as servants/slaves and made eunachs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eunuch 2. Surplus of male children -- The human male:female birth ratio is relatively even but there is a historical preference for male children leading to female infanticide or sex-…

There are several prominent cultures in history that practiced polygamy, some which still practice to this day. Cultures practicing polygamy got rid of their "excess" males and sons through war or banishment https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_boys_(Mormon_fundamentalism)) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primogeniture Also if you find out how these women became mothers, it's quite bleak (hint: a lot of it is tied to slavery, child-marriage, abuse, etc)

toxic masculinity gender roles (men can't be emotional, men have to be providers, men in childcare positions are predators, etc) Alright so which of these identified traits are not an example of toxic masculinity

Systemic issues totally exist for men. It's not a left/right thing either - many conservative men are going to be pro-conscription or buy-into toxic masculinity gender roles (men can't be emotional, men have to be providers, men in childcare positions are predators, etc). It's a whole of society problem. Misandrists by definition hate and/or discriminate against men. Misogynists by definition hate and/or discriminate against women. Neither group of people is going to be open-minded about real is…

If the genders had been reversed, there would've been outrage! But because I'm a male, nobody, not even my own parents, gave a shit. This is misinformation

Really no, it's not different if you are a girl. That's why it's weird that OP is making it gendered. This is a joint issue between girls and boys.
/r/MensRights11/05/26 02:31 PM

No, it's not. It's confusing why OP is trying to make it a gendered experience with his ending statement because it is every bit as awful for girls and for women as it is for boys and for men. Medical gaslighting is real and nurses, doctors, health practitioners need to be held accountable for mistreatment of patients.

I recently remembered something from when I I was in considerable physical pain for the rest of the day. However, when I told my parents about the malpractice, they simply told me to push through it. That sucks that you had that experience. If the genders had been reversed, there would've been outrage! But because I'm a male, nobody, not even my own parents, gave a shit. constant vilification, demonization and generalizations of us based on our gender I think many people, men and women, want gender equality. Unfortunately a lot of men and women blame each other for society's shortcomings when we are just two sides of the same coin. These movements attract hurt people who are more interested in venting than putting in the hard work to come up with systemic change. Literally I see people saying "I hate men, that makes me feminist right" (no, it doesn't). Within th…

Thanks, I hope to be a partner with you on gender equality too. I am not sure if I as a woman can be a MRA but I can support the cause <3 Just a couple notes, "Radical feminism" is named to differentiate it from "Liberal feminism" aka mainstream feminism. The biggest differentiator is that radfems look to reform society to egalitarian standards and libfems look to work within existing systems to achieve egalitarian standards. A subtle distinction is that many radfems are LGBT+ and align themselv…

(Most) women are not feminists and do not self-identify as feminists. And you are right that there is large portion of feminists who, in my opinion, have lost the plot when it comes to *gender equality* and instead seek to punish men. I think that feminists and the feminism movement needs to take a good hard look inwards and frankly do better.

woah woah woah radical feminism is about abolishing gender roles. I am a radfem and I don't blame men as a whole nor do I blame men as individuals. I blame our society structure for enforcing things like "on average men are stronger ergo men must be sent to die in war" and "women are tied down by childrearing therefore we shouldn't include them in meaningful leadership roles". Also as a radfem, we should give a damn about men because they are 1/2 of our society?? If you have a baby boy you are j…

I said women should not be in the discussion for male circumcision as a men's rights issue because women by and large do not have personal experience with it. If you want to consider female voices then you have to be prepared for the full scope of argument. You can't cherry pick support.

I would honestly support another tier of "age of consent" laws from like 18-22 at least. 18 is the age of majority and it signals the beginning of adulthood but plenty of people aren't even finished puberty at that point. There isn't a switch that flips and makes you materially different than when you were a child, but society needs to train you to become an adult by giving adult freedoms and responsibility. At 18yo you are way too immature for a relationship with a middle aged or older person b…

nonconsensual circumcision is not a real issue circumcision of males is a men's rights issue IMO. This is why you can have both feminism and MRAs be 2 sides of the same coin of gender egalitarianism. I do have a clitoris, urethra, vulva, vagina, so I can confidently advocate against female circumcision. On the other hand, I have never had a penis, I have no idea what it feels like to have or not have a foreskin. So really it would be out of line for me as a woman to really advocate one side or a…

systemic disadvantages that male victims have to deal with Yes, I agree that there are systemic disadvantages such as the predisposition of society to say that men will always want sex. There are systemic disadvantages that female victims deal with like "you were leading him on" "why were you alone with a man in the first place/why did you accept a drink from a man/why did you accept a ride from a man, this is your fault because you were foolish". Both male and female victims are punished by the…

People don't tend to think about disabled people in general. A good number of women do consciously consider the physicality or lack thereof of the men they choose to be with. While some women say "I want a man to protect me" other women say "I want a man who I don't see as a threat". As a radical feminist, I can say a good number of us are sapphic and don't consider men, are not around men, and don't understand men. Even trans women seem to not have a clue what a cis man is like. And that sapphi…

Yikes I just looked up the David Beckham case, not just the facts presented but how the headlined articles are so blase about a famous man getting publicly SA'd in front of a crowd. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/news/rubbergloved-woman-grabs-beckham-between-legs-1875058.html I agree with you that society at large mostly consideration physical coercion to be more dangerous or valid than psychological "because of the implication" coercion.

The argument I hear is that men are strong enough to fight off female DV/SA assailants, and Terry Crews is just a very visible person who is known to be a big muscular man. If you have a prominent example of women perpetrating SA against an adult able bodied man, I can use that as well. Typically MRAs talk about female teachers who groom male students. I would say that is an imperfect example because it is an adult vs a child, of course the child cannot defend themselves against an adult. You do…

I am a self identified radical feminist. I believe that males can be victims of SA, including 'made to penetrate SA'. I believe that females can be perpetuators of SA against males. It is unfair that you have been told you can't be victimized by a woman. Even Terry Crews, a big strong adult man and former NFL player, has come out as a #MeToo victim (albeit by another man) - showing that being stronger than someone else does not enable you to defend yourself. I acknowledge that there are many man…

Is it fair to give a woman up to 32days/yr PTO for debilitating periods? Yes, disability should be accommodated by work. Chronic conditions shouldn't be a discriminatory factor against workers. Women in the US file for divorce more than men do. When you look at lesbian and gay marriages you see the same trend. People have many speculations on why. I don't have the answer to that but what I do know is that there is more than one side to every story and sometimes everyone sucks here

Again, alimony is awarded separately from child support and when there is a gap between divorcing partners' finances. I highlighted 3 areas where I often hear people gripe about alimony being biased towards awarding women. with age gap relationships tend to have large discrepancies in income. Older men and younger women age gap relationships are more common. I have already stated in my earlier comments why younger people generally have less wealth vs older people. We literally work in the same field and have the same years of experience. Different sectors just have different pay for the same position. He just works in private and I work in fed contracting. He and his female coworkers make the same salary, me and my male coworkers make the same salary. Radical feminist believe in deconstructing gender roles. > The discussion of this issue is often misleading because men are under more pressure—especially from women—to be the primary breadwinner. This is the kind of gender roles that radfems seek to abolish. > Your comment that there is a bias with older men seeking younger women is itself biased, because it ignores female agency and younger women seeking older men who make more money. As a feminist, I would agree. I believe we should eliminate the gender pay/earning gap and eliminate alimony. Mothers should be empowered by corporations (flexible wfh/alternate work policies with nanny services, on-site infant daycare) while they are post partum to keep mothers in the labor force. After the post partum period, mothers and fathers are equally competent caretakers for children and should share childrearing/household duties.
/r/MensRights20/02/26 03:23 AM

Sure we can call it the gender pay gap or the gender earning gap. You have indicated that typically the mother will be the parent putting their career in the backseat to care for children in a marriage. It's not just because of who earns what, there are also certain biological reasons why women are predisposed being the default caregiver (pregnancy, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, nursing). However pregnancy and postpartum are consider a short term disability and are paid through work. Breas…

Again in the US but Thank you for recognizing that there is a gender pay gap between men and women. But when you look at the same position and tenure, men and women generally make the same money. When someone leaves the work force for a period of time, they will be set back in pay. This is the gender pay gap because it's typically women leaving for the purpose of raising children. In straight relationships there is also a bias where older men tend to seek younger women. Older men have more work …

Idk man. Alimony is paid from the higher earner to the lower earner, it's not inherently gendered. If you don't want to pay Alimony, then don't marry someone who has/makes money different than you. I think that we shouldn't have Alimony laws and that every able man and woman should make it a point to be able to support themselves. I am not in favor of an unemployed SAH spouse and I disagree with equating housework and childcare to a position that brings home money. This is my opinion as a radica…

I am in the US and can only speak from the US perspective. Alimony is decided on the higher earning partner and is separate from child support. I have not been divorced and I don't have kids so I cannot speak to the custody or child support argument from a personal perspective. If you need a feminist to endorse it, I will say the following: Fathers and mothers should have equal opportunity when it comes to custody arrangements. Mothers should not be awarded default custody simply because they ar…

Wanting a prenup protects the one with more money, it's not a feminist issue. I am a feminist woman married to a man who used to make 30% more than I do. We were going to get a prenup but never found the time to before we signed. At this point in time we still have split finances and my husband makes 100% more than I do. It doesn't bother me a whit. I have been thinking about this a good bit. I believe that when people propose "mandatory paternity tests" they are a man who is submitting a test against their partner's baby to see if they are a match. If they are not a match, it doesn't reveal who the baby's real father is. On the other hand, if every man submits their DNA to a paternity bank and all births must be checked against this paternity bank, men would be able to uncover 1. if their partner's child is theirs 2. if they have fathered …

Yes, popular feminist subs have radfems who are misandrists. I believe that radfems have a misandry problem. HOWEVER that is not the question that OP asked. I believe this MensRights sub is full of men who who hate women which is why MRAs has a bad reputation

Equating women's value with their ability to provide sex/reproduction is misogyny. Reducing men to sex-crazed beasts is misandry. that's honestly probably not it. Totally average or even ugly guys can have this attitude too. They don't seem like they are super hot, they sound like they just aren't interested in the top level commenter. Put yourself in their shoes. Someone asks you out. You're happy that someone is interested in you, even if you aren't totally into them. You give them a chance anyway since at least there's the possibility they might let you smash. Still though, you don't commit to them because you would be …

honestly I am not exactly a catch, but I have a lot of success in dating after learning to be authentic. That's not to say you should say "that's just how I am, deal with it", but you shouldn't fake your internal and external self. Be open about stuff you are going through and how you are working on yourself. It's the stereotypical "just be yourself", but the people you end up attracting will be genuinely interested in you If you are looking for any type of long term relationship (fwb or dating)…

probably bc to most guys are just opportunistic. Even if you're not attractive to them, they will take the chance to hit it anyway. Then ofc they don't actually want to get to know you, but they are saying the lines that evopsych has convinced them to say thinking they are being smooth those guys might intersect with the guys who just don't know how to be social with the opposite sex. They are so jaded that they think we are all the same

Exactly. It's not like women are paralyzed by fear, but also we aren't going to put ourselves out there for no reason. When I was young and naive, I used to say "what's wrong with talking it out with someone as you say goodbye" but after a bad experience when I was 24, that's just not happening anymore. I've had friends who have had rejected guys continue to show up at their house and at their work for weeks. It is a real risk.

Yes? If my boss asks me why I am leaving the company, you think I am going to tell them the harsh reality that all my coworkers are boring and I hate hearing about their family? I'm going to just say that I am "moving on to further my career" or some other vague line

It's not just "bad experiences". They can be life altering or even life ending. If only 1 in 100 people will have you end up dumped in a suitcase, you have to treat every single person with the 1% chance that they could be that 1 in 100. You have to account for the amount of "grown men" who still won't take rejection sitting down. They will spend hours "just trying to understand" to "help [them] improve" or will jump straight into sour grapes mode. Do you still engage with these guys not knowing…
/r/seduction04/04/22 11:47 PM
4

Unfortunately enough "grown men" respond in a negative enough way that it's just not safe for women to outright reject people
/r/seduction04/04/22 10:37 PM
2

Sometimes there's also reasons outside of just you and them. Even so, it's pretty rare that you really "don't even know the reason" but why would you feel the need to explain it to them? I wouldn't feel comfortable being like "yeah I think you're hot, but I'm just not over my ex yet" or "your laugh is obnoxious and it's clear that you barely graduated high school". How do you even tell a stranger that lol
/r/seduction04/04/22 10:35 PM
4

People can meet through regular channels (cold approach, seeing each other around in public areas), but it could also be a power imbalance situation such as their boss or instructor. Lots of young people get caught up their superiors or coworkers
/r/seduction01/04/22 04:37 AM
4

20 year olds are also really young and naive and want to be congratulated on how adult they are becoming. That just makes them really susceptible to skeevy old men who can tell them "you're not as immature as your peers, you're an old soul. I know because I'm old". Then it's a lot easier to make them come into a relationship on the old guy's terms because they have little real world knowledge and less experience with healthy boundaries
/r/seduction01/04/22 04:24 AM
9

I think the proportion of older men seeking out 20 year olds to date far outweighs the portion of 20s who *actually desire the company of old men *as opposed to just wanting money or status from old men

Height isn't that important in dating, but it is important in life. When I'm standing at counter tops, I have to stand on tip toe so that my wrists won't hurt. I physically can't reach things because American society imagines that most people are between 5'2"-6'2". When you are under or over that height, things will become increasingly harder as you deviate further

Women are fickle with their emotions if they’re not heavily emotionally invested in a guy. Even if she finds him attractive initially and has moderate interest. Is this not true of men too?
/r/seduction05/02/22 10:53 PM

I'm from the last millennial year so I'm pretty close to Gen Z. The first bf I had in college tried to choke me out the first time we hooked up. He was a virgin and had apparently no idea how to go about it besides what he's seen in porn. I think kids are getting way too much access to the internet before they have real world experiences in their formative years
/r/seduction28/01/22 07:44 AM
2

It's not superficial to want your kids to not be dwarfs. As a 5'0" woman I would want the father of my kids to counter balance my stature. The wrong direction would be for short men to target short women. In my experience, the taller a woman is, the less she will value having a 6' tall partner

I don't think it's primal instincts. Primal instincts is both sides going at it like primates (very vigorously, very enthusiastically). I think it's human society at large giving women madonna-whore complexes. While men are raised to think it's normal to think about sex every 7 seconds, women are raised to believe a woman's orgasm "isn't necessary for reproduction, unlike a man's". So many women "can't" orgasm, why would they have the initiative to aggressively pursue one. I believe that being a…

lol i mean...doesn't the dom also have the ability to stop the activity too? Both people are in control...the same amount of control And if it's true that women only sub bc they are girlbosses and have to relinquish agency, then guys must only want to dom if they are weak and don't have agencyin their regular life right? No? That's not true about dom types? Then where did this narrative even come from
/r/seduction16/12/21 03:40 AM
1

I am pretty heavily egalitarian in life and of course it would extend to the bedroom too, so I get what you mean. I would assume that d/s should be split 50/50 between genders but it's not. The sheer number of men who just assume the dom position and women who can only sub shows there's something deeper to this
/r/seduction16/12/21 03:35 AM

yeah it's common for them to hire dommes whereas sub women don't hire their dom partners, their partners just start off already choking them in bed and doing aggressive shit. Sure there's the idea that BDSM is about consent, but IRL people just imitate what they see in porn. And when I was looking in OLD it was way more common for guys (especially in that 55+ range) to specify from the get go that they were looking for women to dominate. The majority of doms are men and the majority of subs are women. The majority of male doms are also "alpha" at work, but for "alpha" women they are fragile and are too stressed out about being powerful? Being dominant at work or having a stressful career has nothing to do with being a sub/dom in bed. Seduction is a low level tool to create and hold attraction. It absolutely has a place within every step of the larger framework of: meet someone, get to know them, get laid. Even when you are married, you still need to cultivate seduction. However a lot of the men on seddit gets too lost in "game" and only have superficial results that leaves newcomers spinning and PUAs hardened against women. Real seduction should promote understanding between people
/r/seduction25/11/21 05:33 AM
1

If they likewise determine that you are worth pursuing, then you both make plans to do a date or to hook up. Since the attraction is mutual, it should be pretty easy to escalate
/r/seduction25/11/21 01:36 AM
1

approach them and talk to them and find out what they are like. You find out if they are really worth pursuing and if they are available. They find out if you are worth knowing and if you are available. No shit and no games
/r/seduction25/11/21 01:01 AM
1

seduction is about getting with people. You guys on seddit get too whacked in the weeds about manipulation and playing games. In reality, both women and men want to get laid. Make it easy and don't waste people's time.
/r/seduction24/11/21 10:09 PM

Treat strangers like strangers. That's not playing games. Don't expose yourself any more than you have to but being "mysterious" and doing shit tests is a waste of time.

Short women don't want to pair off with another short man just to make short babies. I am 5' and I would consider 5'4" to be too short to seriously date/marry, but ok for hookups. On the flip side, hooking up with anyone over 6' is just awkward and a pain - but you might get those tall genes to balance out your short ones... As a woman, also agree with this. A lot of high energy women are just being genuinely friendly and warm people and they aren't flirting. Regular women do this with each other all the time to be overly nice and overly complimenting and touchy feely, but we don't do this to guys bc we don't want to send the wrong message. Some women just continue doing it to guys too and then guys are confused because they aren't used to women being playful with them

This is honestly the right answer. If they are "too shy" to make eye contact or otherwise acknowledge you, they are definitely "too shy" to hold a conversation with you. If all their body language says "don't talk to me", you should respect that. If a woman thinks they can bank on playing coy and still getting laid, they are going to find that more and more difficult as men get more civilized. Don't play games and let people be more upfront about their intentions.

That's pretty spot on. Women might make small talk or give their number to you, but that doesn't mean anything. We are socialized to be friendly to creeps because that increases the chance we will get away safely. If you're looking for a hookup, approaches like the ones in seddit field reports might work - but you also have to keep in mind that a receptive woman is going to have the same mindset. Most girls I talk to hate when their hookup starts trying to dominate them. Do not just choke, slap, or jump straight into rough sex with someone just because they are a hookup. Figure out what they are into and don't treat them like a prostitute. Hookups don't get paid to pretend that they like it

There's so much "if you are attractive, you can do anything" which is patently false. People who look conventionally handsome/beautiful can help in the dating game, but only by so much. Not the mention, physical attractiveness fades quickly with time. The most important thing is to develop personality, style, and conversation if you want to be able to get with someone throughout your life Acting creepy doesn't become flirting depending on how attracted the other person is. Being attractive just …

i mean wasn't that u/dahMezoh's intention to approach them? The girls just saw right through him

This is pretty good advice. Do NOT just randomly DM people on social media trying to get with them. It doesn't work on the vast majority of people and it's creepy.

As a woman, I agree with this sentiment a lot. Plenty of guys think that their "game" is what bags them girls, but really it's the girls who even let these guys have a chance. Women lead the dance by showing that they're available to a specific guys, then wait for any of those guys to approach. If you aren't one of those few dudes, then shes just going to be unwilling to engage and disinterested in you

you can still be on r/seduction looking for someone to eventually date. Also the original verbiage used was "date"

I've been wondering this as a female lurker. If you're 35 you can date girls from 20 - 35. If you're 40, you can date girls from 20 - 55 Why do guys who are 40 even want to *date* girls half their age? I can understand wanting to hook up with someone who is young and hot, but how much can you really have in common to form a relationship?

I'm 24f and have definitely approached guys before with my fair share of successes. The real key here is that the person is interested in you already or at least has a high enough chance of being interested. A lot of the advice about "game" and "approach" on this subreddit fails to delineate the types of men and women out there and treats them all the same I completely understand what it's like being the girl approached by OP because she was not interested in the start. She was likely preoccupie…

Also you have to put yourself in her shoes. Is she in the mood to meet someone right now? Would she be interested in talking to a guy like you? If the answer to both of those is no, you're better off finding someone else. You can convince ("seduce") them, but those tricks mostly work on thots. You aren't going to find a classy girl who is intelligent and self respecting through those kinds of methods

or you could come off as an ass if you are talking to someone American. Asian Americans HATE being misidentified as an ethnicity they aren't. Don't walk up to someone Asian and ask if they are Korean because they have some style or wear Supreme.

you can also build romantic interest within platonic friendships. Most of my hookups and later dating relationships evolved this way. It's also better than you are dating someone you can call your friend.

basically none of the techniques mentioned here will get a self respecting woman to be interested in you. There's definitely a game and fun aspect of flirting with someone and maybe even getting to know them and potentially date them, but r/seduction and the PUA community at large only seems to have luck with Stacy. The saddest part about the entire Stacy chasing is that...these Stacys already wanted to hook up/flirt with you in the first place. They are playing you as hard as you *think* you're…

the kind of people that would be attracted to hyper feminine women are hyper masculine men - and vice versa. They want to be that way because they think that's what makes them attractive. ^this subreddit/ted talk meta in a nutshell

am I lying when I say I've never expected to be paid for on a first date? I've also never had a guy even try to pay for me on a first date (although I'll admit I've gone on <10 dates in 24 years). I am neither from r/TwoXChromosomes nor r/Feminism. I'm also suspect about the notion that men outside of r/MGTOW universally hate it when their date splits the check

as a female who's been on dates, I've never expected the guy to pay. We usually just itemize the bill and don't start taking turns to pay until we DTR. Honestly, it's a bit confusing since I've heard of this trope where the guy is expected to cover the bill, but neither me nor my (both male and female) friends have had this happen to them

tell her later if there is one. If you have been wheelchair bound or in a coma for the last 3 years, it might be worth mentioning, but if you haven't gotten any because nobody was interested that just sounds bad. Very unsexy

learn about fashion and makeup and compliment her on her own style. Everyone has a unique style and you yourself can probably attest that it takes goddamn effort to cultivate it. People like having their efforts noticed and women are no different. Notice the way she cuts/does her hair. Notice what clothes she's wearing. Take a note from women on how *they* approach other women (e.g. "GIRL, I love your dress!")

honestly, don't even ask for her number. First just get to know her. Maybe get lunch or coffee or a snack after class and build up a friendly rapport. If she actually wants to spend time with you outside of class, you guys will eventually get to that point where you will trade contact details to coordinate
