If you could child deaths, especially anonymous ones like cot deaths, you might struggle to keep a fair comparison.

I think this is because of the female first social order. An underpinning principle of nature that is ignored in politics or policy, but exists in culture. Women have always come first and have always been protected by society. Always will be hopefully (I like women, I just think equality isn't fair). Hence feminine swear words are deemed more offensive, women get saved first in disasters, women are held as more honourable in public and women are seen as victims in circumstances such as cheating…

I think we normalise it because it's normal. What's not normal is trying to make everything equal.

Who said that? If this place is just full of little bitches complaining about women then it's definitely not the place I think men need to be. Downvoting like angry women watching reality tv. Ooooh he offended me! This is why the world is the way it is. Instead of behaving like men, people behave like this. Men SHOULD be shamed for behaving like women. If you're getting offended and feel the need to downvote, you're behaving like a women. And that's the problem with society. A men's board full o…

I didn't say it wasn't shameful. I'm saying the situation is nuanced. I don't think shaming ill women is helpful for anyone.

It looks like this board has been taken over by children. It's cringe that men are behaving like this.
/r/MensRights12/10/25 07:03 AM

No. Not justifying. I said it shouldn't be shamed - what good does shaming do? Why do people not understand reasonableness? Men - stop being moody and hysterical little b***es - you're not feminists - and you're not going to help anyone by pretending you're victims.

Nobody excused anything. I simply appealed for reasonableness. Because reasonableness is a masculine trait. The last thing we need is men behaving like irrational little bi***es playing victim.
/r/MensRights12/10/25 06:59 AM

Well maybe you should read it again. Because that's not justification. This board is full of ideologically motivated misogynists. Like male versions of feminists. How strange. Are there any subs for men? Real reasonable men?

Is your issue that you feel they're putting imprisoning too many men? That's a different issue. All I'm saying is that women are different to men, different crimes, different motives, different risks. Therefore, society should be reasonable as to how it's viewed. Men don't experience the same levels of mental illness and not as regularly. When someone is unwell they should be cared for in a hospital, especially if they're dangerous to themselves or others. For now, this issue is going completely…

Thanks. We're on the same page. I'm bad at explaining my thoughts, I think. I'd argue that cot death is mostly just mum's killing kids tho. So the stats aren't probably all that reliable. I also think there's a certain amount of tolerated stuff, hence why police don't usually investigate women in these situations.

As far as I'm aware insanity/sanity defence is unisex. The country isn't big enough to hold all the prisons we'd need if they started putting murderer mothers in prison.

Why push such puerile arguments? Why be unreasonable? It's more nuanced than that and I think you know it. Not every case is an evil woman, in fact, I think very few are cases of evil. But women are put under tremendous stress and are prone to become ill for periods of time. Also, their primary nature is motherhood. So, risk. I think it's important to acknowledge nature. Women DO have to deal with a lot of shit that men don't. And it needs to be factored to reasonable thought. I don't think peop…

Why do you feel I was justifying anything?

It's a tolerated reality that women murder infants sometimes. It should be identified as a problem publicly and I think there should be awareness campaigns that help people identify unstable mothers or any women with regular access to children. That said, I don't think it would be ok to shame women for this kind of thing - women deal with a lot of sh*t. But men could be educated to support women with protecting children in mind maybe. I think there should be more awareness of where men can and s…

I think men are right to hold themselves to a higher standard. Steve Jobs used to talk about a reality distortion field, men have amazing potential far higher than most women, because women have challenges men don't. Most men still provide for most women, but now women rely on government taxing men in order to do it rather than via a nuclear family. You can evidence this by looking at how much men contribute to tax paid vs women, and how much benefit is paid to women vs men.

Nobody wants women in the draft it's an utterly stupid idea. It just shows the double standards of this corrupt ideology - they want equality in all the good while leaving men holding the bag of responsibility.

Feminism has never fought for more responsibility, only more power for themselves with reduced responsibility every time.

This shouldn't be surprising. All media, science, history etc MUST be viewed via the feminist critical lens - so much so that the feminist ideology now lives completely unnoticed in these discussions, as if this ideology was an accepted scientific fact. I think you were modded hard and shouted down as a result of exposing the political ideological sentiment of the discussion. I think men need to start drawing attention to this more by refusing to see the world through the feminist critical lens.

NZ is a very ideologically motivated country. I imagine they have a high percentage of men who identify as male feminists.

You're right mate the injustice is there. I agree with all your observations. I just don't see this small group of hysterical lunatics as a threat.

It's not up to me to decide how others choose their mate, and hypergamy for women is as legitimate a method of selection as any other. If they're dishonest about it then that's a bit shit, so best assume all women are hypergamous since this isn't something that's in our control as potential selectees. Women lie, it's a known feature of the sex and that's not in our control, but we can control our assumptions.

Agree bud. But, I'm opposed to censorship and I'm also opposed to nanny state enforcement of rules. If you feel reporting to the authorities is best then of course you do it bro. However there's a huge problem these days with relying on rule/law enforcement to solve problems. I think there's a lot of value in screenshotting everything that's getting said, build a case against them properly, let everyone see what they are, and in as honest a way and in as much context as possible and let them dig…

The problem with this is I don't really mind them talking like this. It's kinda self incriminating. You're right trolling them probably ain't gonna end well for anyone but I think leaving them to it is the best thing. Give them enough rope to hang themselves. Just monitor and build a case is what I'd prefer. Gotta be tactical and not emotional with these things.

What would they know, they can't even catch it. If a woman could catch man flu it would kill them instantly.

Sort of. Red tape makes it difficult though, and there is wisdom in this post, caution is advised not to take it as personal advice. I don't know the poster but I think this is useful info.

I'd say the intent was passive aggressive. Harmless though because its true in many cases and nothing to be ashamed of.

Fascinating post. It made me think: there's not enough variation of positive male role models tolerated in media. Most that I can see are either pious tw*ts on the left of the political spectrum and arrogant tw*ts on the right. Moderate men, traditionally stocic and reasonable in their behaviour are usually either ignored or treated disrespectfully in media. Michael Caine ignored, Russel Brand demonised for example.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
