Got 2. Thinking about getting busy for a third, with different baby's mama

Great Comment! Kids of that age have a brain and their own ideas. It's clear that something is broken (trust, affection) and I do not believe that the other parent can do that much of damage. The son is just not talking much, while the daughter is cutting him off. Just cut the extra money, send a letter explaining why. Have a chat with your ex, so financially she can make other arrangements and reach for them every time is possible until they are 18.

Brutal process. Even when it's the only solution. Even with both parties being civil and respectful. But at the end, it was worth it. I still have tons of time for my kids, and time for myself. I have a great SO that I want to marry soon, I matured and I am more stable mentally speaking. I am really sorry for the kids. I wish I had the strength to stay but we both couldn't.

When I was young, I was all for sorority-stepford wife with horrible results. I married one and the last 3 years were a nightmare. I do well with reasonable artsy/hippies, but I am dating a shy/giver girl, which is new for me. Never dated or even knew well a shy/giver girl. I usually attract stepford wifey and hippies. I love the hippies but lately they are anti-science types so no thank you.

For years, after my divorce, I was only thinking about the sex and not "all the other things". Every dates, every chats, every call had only one goal: getting laid. I changed, I discover that you are just putting on yourself a pressure that our society gladly makes to men in particular. I found joy and excitement to just have a real connection with someone, the sex is more enjoyable and I have more intimacy and love for the physical part of a relationship than before.

I know but in this case I am doing all these weird nosense thoughs and she is the one backing off. Maybe it's because I still not believe how lucky I got to meet her.

Yeah, that's seems understandable. My bigger fear is to be dragged in court again and face fake accusations. I am not looking forward to that. I know I prenup will be fine, but you never known how things can go down. I will talk my SO about all of my ramblings/nosense that I wrote here and see what's she thinks.

I feel like I need the validation of marriage, it's all on me and she is not even asking. It's a weird feeling. Probably some shit that I learned at Catholic school

So you have kid/s with your SO? Do you set some legal paper in case of separation without marriage for custody? I am constanly thinking that this period is the right time for us to try. But she is not onboard yet and ask for time. But couldn't forget the 2 years of court for my kids' right of visitations.

Yeah, I am so positive since I met her, for the first time I can show my emotions without being ridicule. I have to 2 kids, I live 10 minutes from them and I do have all the time I want with them, my ex-wife is a "better" person and her husband is a good step-parent. So, now I keep thinking about having another kid, marry my girl, settle dowm etc. And she is not really pushing to anything. Moving together is taking a lot of time, she doesn't want to upset the kids and she is chid-free/never marr…

I don't know. I just feel like I want to marry her. Probably I didn't learn my lesson.

That's right and fair. It's all in my head, she is not asking or pretending, it's just that I feel like I should marry her and one second later, I just recall the divorce and the nastiness of my ex-wife. Maybe I should just get a ring without the proposal

FWB for 4 on and off, dating for one. It's early but I have this weird feeling. I believe it's going to be a long term, we are compatible in different level. She is not really pushing or asking for something and she is taking ages to move to my place because we have regular fight about money. She wants to pay rent in a mortgage free house and I want her to continue to pay her place and rent it, so she has a passive income for herself. We can split the other bills. So it's just me moving too fast…

Actually, it's all in my head. She is extremely cautious and doesn't want even to talk about it for now. I never felt so much love and companionship before and after one year it seems getting better, so yeah, I think I am close to propose. But really she is a nice lady, the one who will sign a prenup. :)

Reading all of this makes me run for my life. I do love this woman and I really want to build a life with her but if after 2/3 years I ended up in court ... I will not be able to survive from that. I hope you can find a way to not work until you die and retire with dignity.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
