I've had similar experience in a different country. They would often state for girls only. Also sometimes the girl only buildings would have better protection and better amenities. Oh and if God forbid a grouo of guys decided to rent somewhere, good luck in that case. Apartments are already scarce enough, if it's a group of guys usually they would just say no. Sometimes they would increase the rent or insurance quite considerably. One instance always comes to my mind. There was an ad for an apar…

First of all, I would like to thank you for a civil discussion. Second, I appreciate the effort you put. You have provided a few studies. There are two sides to this argument. I never expected to convince or change anyone's mind. As you have provided studies there are also studies on the opposing view.

Well guess what, "studies exist" showing what you say but there are also dozens more studies saying the opposite. Your comparison is just invalid, male and female genitalia are completely different. Saying there is no harmless circumcision and that there are zero benefits is just wrong and you know it. I am not saying the science you mentioned is made up, but if possible I would like to take a look at it. Often times of what you are saying is the product of anecdotal experience or just myths. He…

I specified unless something was wrong. I may be ignorant to the issues the unfortunate few have and I wish the best for them. But you are for sure completely ignorant about science and studies. You just mentioned one study from 2007, which might or might not be real or might or might be not biased. Most of what you are saying is the product of anecdotal experience or just myths. Here are one, two, three studies that show that circumcision is pretty much all pros to the individual, his partner a…

Gotta side with u/Airforce987 on this one. Also looking at science/literature the pros much outweigh the cons. Some of the issues that people associate with circumcision are not even due to circumcision. For example they could be due to an improper circumcision or could be present regardless of circumcision.

Took the words right out of my mouth, well said Edit: I feel this circumcision thing is hitting dangerously close feminism and opposes what men's rights is about in the first place. I feel this "I'm mad I'm cut" thing is just trying too hard to get back at society and expressing anger because they were "violated". Besides, lets be honest, unless something went wrong with the circumcision, no one can complain about missing what they can't remember.

I said it once, and I'll say it again. I try my best to not become what I despise, though sometimes giving them a taste of their own medicine is very tempting. Saying that all women are that toxic would put me in the same boat as women saying all men are rapists.

It is so stupid that just "participating" in any sub would result in an autoban.

I'm only on r/MensRights I feel being "pro" or "anti" anything generally speaking defeats the purpose if you get what I mean.

Yeah most sane women are doing sane women stuff. This is obviously not a representation of all women, just the unfortunate few.

Thank you for your effort and sincerity, all that is much appreciated. However, it will be hypocritical to accept your apology. We do not accept and refuse men to apologise just for being men or for the wrong doings of a few. Similarly we do not expect nor accept an apology from a person who has done nothing wrong, regardless of sex or gender. The gesture and intentions are much appreciated though.

I mean she decided to shut him up by giving oral sex. It was fricken written in front of me. I didn't get it, still don't.

Those things just don't make sense. I once had an obligatory university self paced course about drugs and sexuality. One scenario that never made sense to me was: A man is always asking one of his co-workers for sex. After a few weeks of begging the co-worker decided to give oral sex to shut him up. The outcome of this scenario was that the man was in the wrong and the woman was the victim of coerced nonconsensual sex. Do people not think those things through ?

A decent proportion of the contributions to this sub is men expressing their frustration for the unexplained/unjustified hate they get and pointing out blatant inequalities. Nothing too political or or dramatic.

It is feminism, just by name they are fighting for females. The name says nothing about equality or human rights. It is more of a "let's et back at men" mentality.

But if both are wrong or there is a heated debate with both sides having a different pov, what is commonly portrayed is the man leaving for whatever reason.

This is a trend I have noticed long time ago but I never understood, I thought it was the norm in western countries. I never understood why when there is a fight or issues the man has to leave the house or sleep on the couch. Just on the top of my head this happened with Breaking Bad which was one of the most popular TV shows.

I tried many times to crosspost in this sub but it was not allowed. Any advice on whether I'm doing something wrong or things have changed ?

In all honesty I feel like most men don't mind most of the mentioned issues or can tolerate them. I mean men are men and want to be men. The annoyance and backfire (al least in my opinion) is when women start drawing faulty parallels and victimising themselves just because they are intimidated by a presence of another male human. Instead of dealing with women or both, the hypocrisy shines when all the focus and blame is on men for just existing.

I already did. It is waiting mod approval. Edit: Any idea how long that usually takes ? I mean it took the mods a few seconds to remove the question on the other sub. How long would an approval take on this sub ? Edit: Mods sure are taking their time

Spent some time reading the comments. Damn many women hate men. Also many women are great too. The problem is women who faced some issues express them load and clear. Women who are satisfied and leaving peacefully generally don't care about the matter. Imagine the asking the question "female societal issue you aren't empathetic towards?". I think there will be a huge deal about it. Actually I'll go ask on r/AskMen right now. Edit: What's a female societal issue you aren't empathetic towards? Edi…

You know, I've had some conversations with people from or originally from outside the US and Europe. Many of them say that actually following the same logic of feminists men are "oppressed" or at the very least have less rights (as weird as that my seem initially), and I am starting to agree with them to some extent. Not saying all men and women are the same, just in general. Keep in mind this is context/country dependant. For example (briefly), women really have a higher degree of control in re…

We're not at that point yet over here. But there are a few similar recent instances and all the stuff going in on the internet and in some places in he world regarding males just being inherently bad and a threat to women. The sad thing is, some men are jumping on the bandwagon.

Now let's have all women stand and apologize to men for being women. Also let girls at school stand up in front of the whole school and apologize to boys while their at it.

You took the words right out of my mouth. The problem is men do not mind at at all and see it as their duty. The issues arise when women are ungrateful or downright hateful of men just for being what they are, or start suggesting that women are oppressed by a men or male dominated society. That bs study that spread few years a go about women making 0.7 for every dollar men make or some bs like that takes nothing into consideration. Bedsides, I feel feminism is very much contradictory. How is it …

That is so wrong no matter how I think about it. IMO this is just against human rights and logic, especially since most students are likely underage and are for certain a vulnerable population (pretty much coerced to do so). How about we ask all women to stand and apologise for being female, for a few cases of them destroying the lives of some men ? I think that would for sure not be accepted at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
