Yeah, well put. For what it's worth I'm extremely familiar with the whole road culture, more so than I like to admit. This comes from growing up around them, having friends that have ended up there, and being a fan of that kind of music. Especially drill. But I completely get it. To them I'm a skinny middle class white guy with no authority. And they're right tbh lol. I understand their culture to large extent but I can't actually relate at all and it's obvious. I only grew up around it, not in …

There is a young, black, male TA who is respected by this type of student. He has a roadman vibe about him. But yeah I basically agree.

I can't give detentions as a TA. Or sanctions of any kind. The teacher who was present in the room could not have given less of a fuck. Ideally, she would have done her job and sanctioned them severely as it is a very strict school.

I didn't plan on working in a school at all. But once the opportunity arose, I felt like it would be a good idea to test myself bearing in mind what I went through in high school. I want now what I didn't have then - to be confident and respected in that setting. Obviously I am failing the test. But if it speeds up my rate of change, it will have been worth it.

I don't plan on becoming a teacher, but this is still something I want to stamp out as it highlights my overall betaness and lack of assertiveness and fear of conflict. I'm not a teacher so take this with a grain a salt. I think I would've looked directly at whoever said it, asked their name, and had a word with their teacher in front of class. This would have been the best way to handle it, I agree. I'll try this if it happens again.

I know. I've run out of excuses for not lifting. I need to see this as the final nail in the coffin.

Do you have good facial genetics? You credit your height and hair but are you handsome?

I am glad to be free from her, don't get me wrong. But that doesn't change how I feel about being dumped by an ugly girl.

Because I had zero confidence and took what I could get. She threw herself at me. Over time, I let her become a oneitis.
