Hundreds of years of men as a whole disallowing women to receive basic education, attain adult literacy levels, enter certain industries (or even work at all) and you’re clinging to the fact that historically women weren’t inventors, scientists, and heads of industry? Uhhh, NO KIDDING! Do you also nail someone’s shoes to the ground and then congratulate yourself for winning a race against them? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Women, just like men, benefit from medicinal advancements, yes. But all that notwithstanding, wo…

“Letting” 😂 Pretty sure women will be living longer than men with or without their permission. Unless your plan was to murder your spouse on your deathbed?

I don’t think you understand what the peer-reviewed process is, and how it applies to sourcing “facts”. 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/23 07:23 AM

“Fact” indicates a hypothesis that has been proven true. With research- it has actual recent data behind it. It’s not opinión based. The commenter you’re white knighting for has not actually provided a valid source whatsoever. Sorry? Edit: to clarify, submitting a 13 year old lifestyle opinion-based PODCAST (😂) as “hard fact” to support one’s own mouth-breathing experience is, in fact, laughable. No goal posts need to be moved because this entire attempt was a career-ending fumble.

Such poor, poor form grasshopper. Stop the tantrums. Hurling baseless insults, thinking that flinging weird random mental health and/or medical labels at absolute strangers can or should be used as insults, or lashing out because you’re lil link was ridiculous……all just so immature and, again, really embarrassing for you. Learn, reflect, and grow. Now excuse me from any further interaction. I need to get some rest so I can continue to completely out earn you. 😂🤘🏼

Did you seriously just link a podcast from 2010 and try to pass it as recent peer-reviewed literature??? How….embarrassing. 😂

I think there’s a difference between promoting obesity as a healthy and desirable lifestyle vs. promoting the view that fat people are not, in fact, worthless pieces of shit who should be treated as sub-human. Do you feel like obesity is being promoted/labeled as “healthy” in the media?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 10:32 PM
15

I think fat women can and should believe they are deserving of respect and inclusion, and def can and should love themselves/think they’re “the shit”. What they shouldn’t get to do is shame or condemn men for not finding them sexually or romantically appealing, or become angry or insulting when they are rejected because of their weight, which seems to happen frequently if Reddit is to be believed.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 09:55 PM
11

I think promoting acceptance of different body types (including overweight bodies) is overall positive; fat people are just as deserving of respect and inclusion as everyone else. For me, the line is drawn at insisting others accept your body type as romantically or sexually attractive/desirable, and shaming those who do not. I think a lot of the loud shaming has gone too far.

I believe it’s never ok to misrepresent yourself/catfish on OLD. I also wish their was a platform with AI that could remove filters from all pics. The numer of stories I hear from both men and women about how totally different their date looked in person is astonishing and I don’t understand how people aren’t embarrassed to do this. Then why do men get remarried at lightening speed vs. women? Because they need a new Female appliance to clean their house, cook their food, and raise their kids (who may or may not be said woman’s offspring)??

This is just another chapter in the book Rationalizing Why it’s Acceptaple for Men to Deceive Women to Get What They Want (and why women should be okay with it). 🙄

This is called lying by omission, and it’s purposefully manipulative. Adults do not do this to romantic partners.

You make valid points. Again, I agree that it's fundamentally a choice these women make. I would also like to see prostitution (and a lot of other non-violent crimes) legalized if for no other reason that that it would make it easier to successfully get out of the lifestyle without a criminal record following them around. Because really, being a sex worker is ultimately just hurting themselves, not others. I don't think I made the comment about dating sex workers. If I were a man, I wouldn't cho…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 08:11 PM

I hear you. People should expect to be judged for the choices they make, absolutely. With sex workers, there are so many (the majority?) who are forced into prostitution due to abuse, poverty, addiction, or generally poor life circumstance, etc. Yes you can argue that it was a choice, but sometimes it’s the only choice they have. I get irritated at the glorification of sex work because almost always it’s just a very very sad and awful way to live. I am thankful that I was raised in a way that my…

“Sex workers are trash imo“ If you can’t separate a person’s value as a human being from the choices they make in life, that’s a you problem. “Sorry” I doubt that. “You sold your dignity” I’m a high school science teacher turned data scientist, not a sex worker. This is an apples and oranges argument. Commodifying the bodies of women is a far cry from your Netflix subscription service. I don’t “respect” my grocery delivery service, but I also don’t treat the hourly unskilled workers like undignified, beneath-me trash the second my groceries are delivered. 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 10:51 PM

So you’re mad that women don’t want to be lied to and request informed consent?? WTF mental gymnastics are you doing here? My GOD. 😂

In porn, a scene ends (seemingly literally every time) with a woman on her knees ,getting her face jizzed on. Man cums so therefor sex must be over. 🤷🏻‍♀️I would never have the audacity to roll over and end the session with a partner directly after my orgasm, but somehow thats what the vast majority of males think is normal and acceptable. I’ve had ONE partner ever ask me if I wanted them to help my cum after they had, and even that offer was half-assed.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:31 PM
16

“…..at least porn is there for them”. That’s a sad sentence. Like saying at at least heroin is there for a junkie who otherwise has no chance at a healthy relationship. Like other addictions, porn is insidious, it’s a progressive addiction that takes the user over.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 03:09 PM

Of course women can and do react poorly when angry. I didn’t state otherwise. I did say that men are predominantly more likely to react aggressive, rude, mean, or just poorly in general when they approach and don’t get he reaction or attention they want from a women.

You’ve just described every vacation I’ve taken with a partner, ever. The time I spent planning activities, researching and booking rooms, etc just to have some grumpy giant child tag along, being petulant because they’re embarrassed I did all the work but not mature enough to vocalize their feelings of inadequacy …..I’m embarrassed for myself. 😂 Last time I went to Cabo, I literally held my ex’s boarding pass/ID while we waited because he would have lost it otherwise. This long-ass post full of mental gymnastics really illuminates how worthless female friendship is to a lot of men. 😞
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 05:17 PM
12

YES! This is an entirely unattractive trait to most women. Personally, I avoid men like this because they often default to emotional succubi who rely on their female partners for their every little socioemotional need. I don’t care to be an unpaid therapist. A supportive partner, yes, but, women are not rehabilitation centers or charging stations for socially inept men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 05:13 PM

It’s all so gross. Unattractive. Very very libido-murdering.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 08:06 AM

All this debate aside: If it’s important that a woman’s partner not watch porn…..and he claims he doesn’t…..he’s fucking lying. They all watch it. And most of what they watch would be very very disturbing to their GF/SO/Wife/whomever.

so many reactionary chuds on here with weak grasps of statistical analysis. I was replying to a comment about (presumably ) global infanticide, and here you are with an unsupported sentence from 20+ years ago about children (0-18yrs) in a single country. in science, any data from more than 10 years ago is considered archaic/useless - if I tried to submit a paper with references this old I would be laughed at. The “price for admission” is basic human decency. We aren’t animals, FFS. Apparently that’s too steep a price for people like you? The orgasm gap is MASSIVE- casual sex for women is rarely “enjoyable”. Casual sex is a bad deal for women- women have most of the burden/risk, and rarely receive the same reward. Women don’t need get get paid, you moron. We need to feel safe, cared about, etc. It’s not rocket surgery. 🙄

Are women “alphas” and “betas” to you TRP subscribers? I don’t consider anyone to be a “beta”. Everyone is unique/different. The people TRP consider an “alpha” would clock as totally undesirable to others. The best and most fulfilling relationships I’ve ever had were with men who TRP would dismiss as a “beta”.

Did you read your own comment? I’m literally responding to your exact words. I never said I expect a man to “white-knight” for me if I’m publicly insulted. I am an adult and am capable of standing up for myself without help In fact, this would usually add to the embarrassment. What DID SAY was that I expect to be insulted and/or further harassed and as such I choose not to date for the most part as the juice ain’t worth the squeeze.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 02:46 PM

“Random men” will not, in fact, dogpile an asshat. I have never had a strange man step in to “rescue” me….ever. They always watch with mouth agape. I don’t drink at all. I do not expect to get murdered or raped…..but harassed and insulted, yes. Not worth it. IDK what actual women you’re talking about. Sounds to me like you’re bitter and as a result distorting facts. It’s responses like this that self-remove women from the dating pool. Die mad.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 01:29 PM
6

Not at all. But a man publicly embarrassing himself is also embarrassing me. I don’t enjoy that experience. Further, that won’t stop the deluge of insulting/demeaning/threatening calls and texts as soon as you drive away. Seemingly normal, well-adjusted men go to great lengths to punish you for their wounded ego.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 01:25 PM

You fools ask women for incredibly personal information (“nO jUdGeMeNt!”) and then call us liars!?! This whole thread is made in bad faith. short answer: I’ve been with 2 men (both LTRs) in the last 5 years. Never entertained a ONS or FWB situation, ever. I am 38, been sexually active for 19 years, and been with 6 total partners. I have never been married and don’t have children. I am very fit, very active, healthy and happy, social, have a great career, own my own home as well as several investment properties (I worked hard to overcome my barely blue-collar upbringing, to pay off my 6-figure student loan debt, and to educate myself…

I hear you…..however, “Raw data” extrapolated from a single porn site is not capable/reliable enough to make these (personal opinion) claims from. This is why ‘science’ is the gatekeeper here - peer reviewed literature keeps the nobodys from making wide-sweeping claims based on tiny data sets; it’s a set of non-involved and/or not invested yet qualified professionals reviewing the data and the basis derived, and deciding as a group if this is factually relevant, or not. This would not pass this …

Absolutely incorrect. The divorce rate when a man gets cancer is 2.9% and it jumps to 20.8% when the woman has it. A wee bit more than “1%” LMAO. There are countless articles and studies showing the same (and worse) results. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-partners-health-idUSTRE5AB0C520091112

The thought of being a SAHM (I would die) or working mom (or any mom at all really) gave me so much anxiety in my twenties because I thought it was every woman’s destiny that I sometimes couldn’t sleep if I dwelled on it too much. That is, in fact, not bullshit. While offspring generally exhibit some of the same visible traits (phenotypes) as either parent, sometimes the genetic material (genotype) of each parent combines in a way to create offspring that doesn’t look like either parent. This is called, yes, GENETIC *RECOMBINATION***.** A very watered-down example of this (since you are struggling so much), is two brown-haired parents producing a red-headed child (this also incorporates mutated genes, but still one from e…

I won’t invalidate your experience, but as a woman who has had a gazillion girl-talks with friends over the decades, a man’s physical appearance (while still important…..attraction/chemistry is necessary after all) is somewhere in the middle or lower on the list of desirable traits.

Women having agency and choice, and choosing things that matter to them personally and not the Manosphere inhabitants in general, really chaps the collective ass of TRP bros. Age gaps are frowned up for a number of reasons, the largest being the power imbalance due to the younger individual (typically the woman) being naive enough to accept unhealthy and\or abusive behavior because they just don’t know any better, things they wouldn’t put up with if they were older and more experienced. This can look like literal physical abuse, financial abuse, grossly unfair domestic workload, etc….lots and lots of things outside of sexual experience imbalances. For example, in the…

What a stupid, ignorant, embarrassing thing to say. I’m a chemical engineer. I work 50-55 hours per week, minimum. I excel at my work, make a very healthy income, and I still have these expectations in the dating market. A career is in no way a ‘get out of jail, free’ card for effort. How sad for your future (trad?) partner that you think so.

And I addressed everything else, did I not? But here you are, desperate to still argue well past a proven point and into the ether……also said “quasi-comfortable”. In what universe did that compute “looking good” in your brain? How illuminating! * by “choosed” I think you meant “chose” * most women haven’t done straight cardio since 1997. * all cheap razors suck, you’re the one making sucky razors gendered. Weirdo. I think your outlook on tasteful plastic surgery is refreshing and healthy, and I agree with you there. I haven’t felt comfortable “needing” any yet, but if the time comes I’m open to it! I also agree that money and upkeep can only get you so far from your original….origin. Lol. But a fit, happy and healthy Plain Jane with healthy looked-after shiny hair, smooth legs/bikini area, shaped eyebrows, with a flattering haircut/color……… is going to be infinitely more attractive than if This woman had …

I agree overall with what you’re saying. But the damn bra was the only thing I mentioned a price on? My whole point was the literal cost, and the time-investment “cost“ of maintaining even “average” beauty. Even shaving your legs every day with a dollar-store razor and conditioning with Aussie 3-min miracle takes at least an extra hour of time if you have even just medium length hair including drying/styling. Time isn’t free to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/22 06:54 AM
3

Of everything I pointed out, y’all all want to zero in on the damn bra, huh? I do very little cardio. I follow a functional fitness/CrossFit-lite style regimen. I have a very simple home gym and it was not cheap! It was worth it to me to not have to commute to the gym and back every morning, and to not feel leered at when I did deadlifts, lower back extensions, etc. It was worth it to me, yes, but to imply that I could develop the same physique at home “for free” is ludicrous.

I disagree with your overall point but strongly agree with your last point. ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/22 06:27 AM

Absolutely! Everyone is zeroing in on the bra price I posted…..I have a large-ish bust and I choose to pay for a couple at this price point every 2-3 years. They last forever, look great, and most importantly of all -they’re comfortable! This does not negate my overall point!

You are SO emotional my dude. Chill yourself. I don’t see where I said I purchased bras to appear “hotter”? But interesting you read it that way….. I believe i said “supportive”, no? Can you imagine that women are people who exist outside of the scope of whateverthefuck you find “hot” and *gasp* make apparel decisions not based on sexual appeal but based on comfort, pragmatism, and the best possible financial investment? It’s a shit ton of work, inside the gym and especially in the kitchen, I take nothing away from that kind of admirable dedication. That doesn’t make women’s upkeep free? I have no idea what (small) percentage of men take the time and care to have a year-round six pack, but the percentage of women paying for “basic” female upkeep is, uh, waaaaay more.

Have faith friend! TL;DR : A woman’s fertility declines slowly, much the same way as a men’s sperm count dwindles while also becoming chemically unstable. I generally agree. I do feel bad for men because I feel like women and men have WAY more in common than most people think, it’s just that men and woman are socialized soooo differently. Men do not benefit from this and I think it does require an above-average (and unfair!) amount of effort to overcome the mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging overly sexualized “manliness” that seems to be expected from men. I agree with a lot of your points.
