I don't give a fuck about the in-laws. They're for my son's benefit.

Harden up your feelz, brother. That's good advice. Thanks.

There are always exceptions, but sufficient family support to properly raise children is very rare. Besides, children need their mother just as much as their father. I don't know which universe you're living in, but you can't argue a good case for single parenthood over a nuclear or extended family situation.

I'll answer your question with a question. How many patriarchs do you know of that are unmarried or are single fathers? How many extended families come from those situations?

Those are not tangible benefits. So well adjusted children and grandchildren are not tangible benefits? An RP man living his life properly will never lack for companionship. The important distinction is that he doesn't seek that companionship out for validation, it comes to him because he is secure in himself and thus provides others with the validation they seek by giving them his valuable time. My friend, it sounds like you are parroting back what has been repeated a million times here. Howeve…

The only problem with this is most in-laws and extended family will not honor your shacking up situation. You will not receive the respect you would receive otherwise and both families remain fragmented. At least, this is how it is in a traditional setting where both sides still have some old fashion values. Your solution is fine for some, but not for others, which further underscores my point. Not everyone has the same situation and not everyone comes from the same background. Where marriage is…

Nothing you said touches on the merits of marriage. Could this be because you don't see the value of an extended family and well adjusted kids due to the fact that you missed out on this as a child? That was a question. Feel free to answer.

Good point, but the larger the extended family, the better. It takes a village, not half a village.

This post is directed at the anti-marriage fanatics that mindlessly urge men not to do so and dare berate those that have. If you don't want to marry, that's your choice. But for chrissakes stop all the anti-marriage bullshit.

HumanSockPuppet called you out to 'give us a list of tangible benefits that marriage gives to a man which he cannot already get as an attractive, fit, unmarried bachelor' and you ignored it. Thats because they don't exist. The tangible benefit is family. Not just immediate and extended. Another tangible benefit is well adjusted children and grandchildren for you to enjoy in your twilight years. These things, you can't get as an unmarried bachelor. Not matter how fit you are. Replace these with y…

Well said Mr Puppet. But I think you're missing the point. I'm not telling you that you should go out and get married, because you obviously see no value in it. The point I'm trying to make is that different people value different things depending on their age, culture etc. I'm don't hate on the ones whose values are different from yours. And don't kid yourself. You're no patriarch. You need children for that. So GTFO with that bullshit. On to other things, I can instantly tell certain things ab…

How old are you? This post seem like it's written by a person no older than 25. Contrary to popular belief, there are some viable RP women out there that would make suitable long term mates. And it would be a shame for a viable RP man not to appreciate such a woman and not establish himself as a patriarch. Hire a surrogate mother? Seriously? Single parent home? Is that what you want for your child? It seems like you'd like to further the degradation of society by mishandling our stewardship of t…

There's a reason our society is fucked right now to the point that we can't find suitable women to raise our future generations. Because we've lost control of society and decided to hand it over to our women. Them dudes in Saudi Arabia understand that you just can't trust a bitch or else she will ruin you. I may be coming off as a bit bitter. And I wish there could be a decent balance of power between men and women. But our society is proof that women will take whatever little you give them and …

People often forget that she is married to a real alpha. Also that she stuck beside him after he was caught spinning plates. Probably because she knew all along. Something tells me that Hillary knows what time it is.

I'm also married. Not every TRPer is against marriage. Look at /u/archwinger for example. Similarly, not every TRPer advocates spinning plates (at least not indefinitely). It is plausible that married men are happier and healthier. I, for one love the idea of being the patriarch of my family and wish I could have 1,000 children. While it's not all about me, TRP has helped me regain control of my relationships with women and has, more importantly, opened my eyes to the mistakes I made due to the …

That's cool and all but I got a better strategy. I tell my wife I make 25% less than I actually do. I also control all the finances and both salaries. In addition I make money with a side business. That means I control mine and hers and she doesn't make a move unless I know about it. Some may say this is dishonest. But hey. The laws are skewed towards the women anyway in the event of a divorce. And I can walk at anytime and land on my feet. Edit: I also take care of the taxes and I don't tolerat…

Nothing gives me a better high than to fuck with another man's livelihood, especially if he has a family to support. No. Fuck you. Men aren't sticking together - is why women are dominating. You need to revisit your priorities, my friend. Having nice shit is one thing but fucking with another man's manhood is something completely different.

TRP will not be mainstream until this world finally goes to hell in a handbasket. People don't accept uncomfortable or radical truths until they are forced to.

I strongly suspect we know more about women's nature than ever before Not so fast metro guy. The wise men of old knew what women's nature was all about. So do men of certain middle eastern and Asian cultures. We're all lost because we don't have patriarchs to guide us. Our beta fathers have failed us. And this us why r/theredpill has come to the rescue.

Some women crave abuse and will do things so that you can dominate and abuse them. Make her buy you dinner or something. Give her a demeaning task to get back in your good graces. Seems like that's what she's looking for.

Men are driven biologically by sex for the most part. So much so that sex has been the reason for the demise of many powerful men. That's just how it is. Look. I don't know why most women need a man whose status is higher than theirs (hypergamy). But whatever. That's the hand we're dealt.

This isn't just about sex though. This is about being happy. I'm going to guess that you're either a female or a male with extremely low testosterone. Otherwise you'd know that it's all about sex. For men that is.

I think you mistake RP for advocating the betterment of society. I'm nether young and sexually frustrated neither old and divorced. I'm married with a two parent heterosexual family. A pillar of the community, if you will. RP is really what you make of it. So whatever you want in life, its a framework to help you get there. Pretty sure this entire post will be deleted so don't let the door hit you.

Why not take her back ... as a plate. What I'm trying to say is have some abundance. She's only giving you shit because she doesn't feel too threatened you'll abandon her. Right now she holds all the cards because she is abandoning you. Treat her like a plate. Be cold. Be stoic. Run some dread game. You'll be fine.

I'm sorry man but it's done. Even if she comes back she'll never respect you again. That is, if she ever respected you in the first place. Have some abundance and find you another chick. I know it's hard. I've been there. Focus on you and be good to yourself.

I have a son now so I'm cataloging all the nuggets of wisdom I want to pass along to him when he is older. I hate to get all sappy but this sub makes me want to cry sometimes because of the people it has helped. All my life I've realized that half my problems have been due to my lack of abundance.
