In my culture/country when you're 14-16 there is always an older bro or younger uncle etc. who sort of takes you under his wing and guides you through your journey into teen-hood (?) and early manhood. I never had that, so when time came for me to go to high school i was woefully inequipped socially and psychologically. So i suffered through high school untill college where an angel sent from the heavens told me "Google Neil Strauss and Mystery"....

I think the snapchat things is taking the easy way out, it's like asking for her facebook... and in my college experience, if there's one thing i lament and regret most is taking the easy route out. Asking fro the number is bolder and riskier yes, but HR=HR, and in my opinion, the core essence of pickup is having the balls to go for it.

Shit... I've just started my own 100 days challenge today, my record already stands at 2-0. not very encouraging but there are a lot of lessons learnt from the 2 opens. but at this point I'm gonna keep charging at it and incorporate the lessons into future openings. Hopefully, both our lucks will improve in the future.

Now I'm not saying i'm an expert or something but i read mystery method while i was in college and i pirated the project go vids but i learned quickly there was a cultural difference and i couldn't directly port the skills as they are directly. I also remember hearing from a super model on a TED talk that women generally respond better to compliments about what they have agency over rather than mere looks/genetics. For instance something like "... that's a lovely hairstyle..." or "....you're rocking one hell of an outfit by the way..." and lastly mad props to OP
