Join a dance club. It will do wonders. One of the best therapy around. Dont bother about partners. There will be plenty.

I am walking long hours as I am doing the Camino in Easter . My divorce present. HAHA In the darkest of times whilst the divorce was happening . For two months we were under the same roof not eating together, not sleeping together, not talking to each. I said shit . I went to a decent club to have lunch initially to check it out . I saw they offered dance lessons . Went the next week and the next. .... Now I'm going 3 times a week and becoming good. Surprising thing there are always a third more…

I was fortunate. Ex only wanted half the house and I bought her out which she was surprised. She wanted to see who will take me in as she was pushing to sell the house. Asked around about the deal . General take on it was take it and run. It was a clinical process. Fast and furious. All over in two months I thought of saving the marriage, but i was advised against it. Emotions are still raw. Will need some emotional surgery. I'm mildly glad after two months of chaos.

I think work on your anger. The cause of anger is when things are not going your way. They say if you're angry your life is in mess. One possible solution is to take up meditation.

I don't think it's possible to erase a person out of your life. When two souls are connected by marriage, the bond will always be there. It will play up in your darkest hours and that's what happening you. Accept those feelings and let it pass.

I'm 6 weeks into divorce. We are still in the same house. No cooking, cleaning, talking, we just walk past each other. She is a tidy person. so im deliberately keeping the house in a mess. Keep dishes in the sink . Clothes scattered about. Strangely she still puts both our clothes in the washing machine. Still do prayers. I am buying out her share which dhe never expected. I am 65 she 59. Know jer for 28 years married 18. In the past few years ee just grew apart. All our interests were shared. H…

I am 65, ex 59 filed for divorce 6 weeks ago. Knew her for 28 years married for 18 . We grew apart. I started getting female friends, no sex just platonic . She was not happy about this and eventually she pulled the plug. I have not been happy for about 10 years . Business problems are largely to blame. Fortunately i live in a large city and am capable of moving around by myself. I run and hike often. These are shared interests with my ex. There are too many mutual people we know in this circle.…

My relationship was not going well. So i developed phone friendships. Wife could not stand it. There's no sexual interest. It was only the last one that i became close and a romantic relationship ensuded. This was the straw that broke the camels back. I'm now 6 weeks into divorce. We had been 18years together. 10year of it was good. She had a hysterectomy and that's when sex plummeted. It's been a crazy 6weeks. This past weekend went out to dance classes. I like the venue. Met new people. Looks l…

Divorce at any age is rough. Im at stage where i don't give a fuck. Looking for a travel companion, some dance classes, and transforming myself. I called it detached attachment. Thanks friend your contribution. This post resonates deeply within me.

I am 65 , my STBXW 59. She filed 40 plus days days ago. So i have been through ups and downs in my life . Over the years i have built up resources for self care. Putting every tool i know into use at the moment. When I stop calling her a bitch then i know i am over with her

The day I got the email. I immediately notified all key members. And 3 friends all across the world. They came fully to my support. Even some rocky family relationship stiffened up. Used DeepSeek and Reddit. Walked like hell.

I lost 5 kg in 2 weeks in two weeks. The upside I went out and bought new clothes. I look much better now physically. I pretend I'm sad around her. But I've reached out very quickly and managed to get MY show back on the road. I think she underestimates my resilience.

I am in the same boat. She was asking for divorce 2 3 times over 5 years. I refused. She asked for therapy i refused . Now I'm 40 days plus into divorce. I felt the power play, she was a bitch the first ten days. I then went into silence when i saw she was not going to change her mind. So now I don't make attempt to greet her. talk to her. The only thing i do I cook my own meals when she comes back from work. Just to make a statement that I will survive. We are still in the same house, no talkin…

It's been one month since im into divorce. She filed. I felt blindsided. When i read the stats that generally women initiate divorces i felt ok. As this was the norm. She wanted me to file to maintain her dignity. But she bit the bullet. I think she is going to regret it. Im 65 , she 59. The day i got the email for divorce. I walked for 4 hours. Trying to put things together. That night i went a dozen times to pee. A month later Im feeling not better but reality is starting to dawn . What im ang…

The last time I screwed my soon to ex. She said I got lucky. Like she did me a favour. It just switched me off. But now i realise it was one of her tactics to remove my manhood. Making sure Im a broken man before she f...off.
