8	idk if this is the right sub for this, but i hope it raises awareness that feminism is needed in some countries like mine(India) to fight for basic fundamental rights of women, unlike the US where they've gotten all their fundamental rights and are just fighting for ridiculous bullshit. First of all I will agree that Dowry is still quite prevalent. That's why I said "fake allegations". Fake allegations of dowry by women are on rise. 10% of dowry cases are false. This is 7 year old article by a good source TOI. SATI ? The last sati case was recorded 32 years ago.. Read This. Moreover Sati was banned in 1829 and the cases dropped drastically from there. Feminist make imaginary situations so that they get something to fight for just like western feminists. Don't get me started on dowry related fake allegations by women.
