3 main reasons. ..Money(yours), control, and appearances to try and make you look bad so she can look like a hero in her own world. Keep fighting for your kids man. It sucks to go through it but it’s all worth it in the end.

Get rid of the crazy mess. You’re telling the universe you’re cool with that so that’s the type of girl you’ll continue to attract. 2. Decide what you really want. If you want to date and experiment and meet new women(plural), that’s your choice. Be as smart and picky as you can. If you want more(a real relationship that has long term potential), then you’ll have to act like a guy that only wants that and isn’t looking to just eff around. Set some very strict standards and guidelines for yoursel…

Without knowing more details I’ll venture out there. You were being used and taken for granted. You said yourself she’s a broken person. It was clearly going to continue and get worse until it ended. You can imagine how your rest of your life would have been if it hadn’t ended. Take solace in the fact that you’re being allowed to learn, grow, and find happiness. You were never going to have happiness with her. Having kids gives you a great outlet and focal point. Put everything you have into the…

Living under the same roof is a tough one. I did it for 3-4 months and it was emotional hell. The sooner you can get beyond that, the sooner you can start your new life.

Spending time with my kids and doing things that brought them joy. Their joy brought me joy. Working out. Especially boxing. Projects. 6 months after divorce was done, I got a new house. I redid as much as I could on that place. I enjoy that type of work but it was a great productive distraction. Friends and family for sure. Reminding myself all the time that I deserved much better.

Adding to the already provided great responses….she said yourself she has narcissistic tendencies. If it helps read up on narcissists more and what they do. Their main attributes are manipulation and blame. They are never the problem in their own minds. They’ll blame everyone else for everything. It’s never their fault. That’s what her family has heard. She’s a victim and you’re the problem. She’ll tell everyone in her circle her version of things and they are HER circle so that’s who they’ll be…

Have you brought up couples therapy/counseling? Maybe a third party can get her to open her eyes. If she says she wants to work things out, that’s her chance to prove it. If she says no, then you might want to really look at your options and possibly do some solo counseling. No matter what, I’d avoid those dating apps like the plague. I get that it helps your self esteem but that’s crossing into cheating territory. If she were doing the same and told you it was just for looks would you believe h…

Therapy would be a great option . Unfortunately things don’t improve until you go through the process. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. What really helps are things to occupy your mind and cheer you up. The more of that you can get, the better. For me it was about 6-8 weeks until things started to feel closer to normal. We had kids so I put extra focus in to them and found their happiness and joy helped me a lot. If you don’t have kids, things you you’ve always enjoyed would be…

Agree with posts above. She has no ability to remove you. Do not leave. The most important thing you can do while working towards a court ordered resolution is keep your cool no matter what. Do not give her any ammo to try and have you removed via police or other methods. Try to interact in person as little as possible if things aren’t civil. If there are text conversations, keep them and make sure you’re keeping things calm and civil there too. Find healthy ways to deal with your stress. Runnin…

Take pride in all the good you’ve done. Take pride in the fact that you treated someone so well and worked so hard even though you were disrespected and things weren’t reciprocated. Don’t worry about her life and how she appears to be living. I promise you someone like that is not happy and unless they really change things about themselves, they never will be. Most importantly learn from your mistakes. Don’t let someone disrespect you like that. The cheating/affair was where she crossed the line…
