Death grip. Takes ages to finish and will either finish himself off or jackhammer. You're "boring" for not wanting anal or facials or to be degraded. Non-sexual touch like a cuddle or back rub becomes sexual. He expects you to get on your knees and give him a blowjob at the mere sight of his dick and be turned on by it. Sex is like a performance to him. Takes his phone/tablet to the toilet with him and takes aaaaaagges in there.

Between October 2020 and November 2021 I was single. I deliberately took a year off men and dating and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've known my SO since 2018, we are in the same acting group. Last autumn we were cast in a play as the 2 main characters who were kids and best friends. I started to develop feelings for him but kept it to myself as I thought it was a phase or just "period horny". In the run up to the show he would come to mine to learn lines and we would get on so well. The night afte…

Years ago in my OLD days I had a guy message me who had written in his profile that he was unemployed. I told him I wanted a man with a job. He called me shallow 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

The amount of comments I've seen on social media saying that Jada is pulling the strings and how she is toxic and abusive. Comments such as "Jada should be defending him" and "Will is a broken man". As if he doesn't have the money to access the best doctors and therapists. But no, it's all Jada's fault of course!

Love this. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 months and I didn't know such a peace and contentment existed in relationships.

It never works out. I know someone whose husband became the stay at home dad. He didn't realise that being a house husband meant taking care of the HOUSE too. She once had to badger him to get out of bed and get their youngest up and take him to school. He wouldn't. She had to go to work so she called her mum. As soon as mum turned up it was "why did you do that? I was going to take him." You just can't win.

Guys will go straight to pushing your legs up as close to your shoulders and just jackhammering. And then asking if that feels good. No, it hurts! Also, if you push any harder on my stomach I'm going to fart! They seem to think that we can bend into any position without any sort of warm up.

I know someone who has been with her boyfriend for 9 years. They finally got engaged in 2018 but still no signs of a wedding. I genuinely think he doesn't want to get married and I feel so bad for her when she talks of dresses and venues. If he wanted to propose he would have done it sooner, right? If he wanted to get married they'd be married or nearly married by now, right? But there's no telling her. She then talks about my own boyfriend and how he's so in love with me he'll propose by Christ…

Don't date depressed men who aren't doing anything about it. They will bring you down. I have spoken about this guy on here multiple times. Very depressed/suicidal and would weaponise that against me to make me feel sorry for him or get my attention. He was aware of his mental health but refused to do anything about it. Like straight up said no when I asked him if he ever thought he should do something. I think he expected me to wave some magic wand and sprinkle him with my positive feminine ene…

I can't remember what sub I was browsing but someone commented on a post, in kindness, that the OP should visit this sub. I checked it out and BAM! Women who thought the same way I did. Especially when it came to porn and degrading sex acts. Suddenly I wasn't boring or a prude, I was just a sad little pickme who deserved better.

I was the rebound girl. Even when he would discard me and go back to her, he would eventually come back to me and pre-FDS me thought that was good. At least I pretended it was good. It became a cycle. They would break up/she would kick him out He'd decide to unblock me and start talking to me. He'd mention how "abusive" she was to him. He'd weed his way back into my life because I had no boundaries or self-esteem back then. We would be "good" for about 5 weeks Then she'd either message him or he…

Pathological liar and would get angry at me when I called him out on his lies. Definitely victim mentality. Used to say how abusive his ex was, both physically and mentally, but would regularly drop me to go back to her. It was like he thrived off the arguments and drama because he wanted to be the victim soooooo bad. Completely unable to see things from others' perspective/put himself in others' shoes. I had one of those friends a few years ago. If we went out together and a guy started chatting to me (not even flirting, just chatting) she would say or do something to make the guy pay attention to her instead. A couple of times we have been out and I have bumped into someone I had been texting/dating and she would say stupid things to him like "I can sit on your lap and we can talk about the first thing that pops up" and "I have no gag reflex." She would put me down in front of people, trying …

I used to hate blocking because I didn't want to come across as a "bitch". Now I've blocked all my exes and all their shitty enabler friends. By not blocking, you are giving them access to you. They think they can still message you whenever they want and steal your time and attention. Surely the majority of us have had that notification pop up, sighed, and thought "why is he still messaging me? What does he want now?"

"So you're not talking to me now?" This was on whatsapp where he could see when I was last online and could see that I hadn't read his last message yet. This was back when I thought I had to be friends with exes. Don't do it. Even though they don't want to be with you they still feel entitled to your time and attention.

I had an ex who would call me "his little weirdo". He said it so often I eventually hit back with "you say that like it's a bad thing?" And he never had a response because it was a bad thing (to him). To be fair I've been called weird for the stupidest of reasons. Such as wearing sequinned shoes or using a Hello Kitty shopping bag to do shopping or spending time with my Mum (?)

Had an ex like this. Got sulky because his team were playing on the TV on the same day I was doing a play. He was annoyed because he had to leave the pub early to watch me perform. He turned up in his football shirt and then after told me to go home instead of stay at his because he was "too tired".

I was actually told to "stay out of his business" when I found out he had slept with another woman behind my back only days earlier. When I found out he was begging an ex to take him back? "Stay out of my business". He would drag me into and involve me in every single drama in his life and then tell me to stay out of it once I spoke up.

If you don't like him, you don't have to give him a chance just because your friends think he is a nice guy. Porn has completely warped the way boys and men see women and girls. As teenagers they are expected to be virgins with absolutely no experience but also do every single degrading act going and enjoy/like it. But God forbid they actually have sex because then they're "easy". That much older guy isn't in to you because he thinks you're better or more mature than girls your age.

I used to do burlesque and the amount of "do you do private shows?" messages I would get on OLD 🙄. I've thrown all my outfits out now and a pickme friend was shocked and asked what if I wanted to keep them for a man? I wasn't doing burlesque for male attention. I was doing it because I like to be on stage and it was keeping me fit. I was single the entire time because, surprise surprise, men don't like it that you flash your boobs on stage for other men!

I've had bad experiences with blowjobs so I don't like to give them. I've always felt it was something I HAD to do rather than wanted to do. If I met someone who I REALLY wanted to give a blowjob to then I'd do it but there's no way he's finishing in my mouth 🤮

Funny this topic popped up. Today's it's been a year since I called the police on my suicidal ex. I took a break from dating, its been a year now and those close to me have noticed that this is the happiest and most content I've been in a long time. I'm not questioning myself all the time, feeling like I'm not good enough. I'm not folding myself into a pretzel just to keep someone else happy and present anymore. It's so peaceful.

I had an ex try at the beginning of year, completely forgetting everything he put me through or maybe he thought I would forgive and forget. He never committed to making me his girlfriend and kept dropping me to go back to another ex (among other things I ended up in therapy for). I told him if he really wanted a relationship with me the first time around we would already be in one or at least had been in one. His mind was blown because he never replied.

The Weeknd has a new song out called Take My Breath. I quite like it but can't help but think it's about choking, especially reading the lyrics. Am I looking too much into it? I have never moved in with a man and at this rate I really don't want to. Watching women I am close to in horrible situations is tough. Forever girlfriend, forced him to propose, now a forever fiancee. He earns way more than her but they split rent and bills 50/50. Over winter their electric bill was higher than expected and she couldn't afford her half. He paid it for her and she had to PAY HIM BACK! I won't go into detail as it exhausts me but let's just say I never questioned my abilities in the bedroom until I met him. He eventually told me I needed to watch porn so I knew what I was doing. All from the same man: You should want to do things to make your partner happy, even if you hate it. (Funny how this only applied to me and not him) Sometimes I just want a blowjob after a long day at work. I got my cock out and you didn't react. You should go and watch porn so you know what you're doing. No man is going to stick around if you can't satisfy him.

Write a list of all the negative thoughts you have about yourself, things people have said to you etc. Then take that list and write the exact opposite of each negative thought. Keep that positive list for whenever you are doubting yourself (throw away or burn the negative list). It's a small self-esteem building exercise I had to do in therapy last year.

I saw a post on Facebook about who pays on dates and so many women were saying "I always offer to pay or split the bill as I don't like feeling that I owe him" And there it is. They're not paying because they want to, they're not paying to show that they have money, they are paying because they don't want to be in some sort of "debt" with a man they barely know. Men like to talk about the "good old days" of life in the 50s but forget that the man always paid, didn't try anything on and made sure…

It took me stumbling across this sub and going to therapy last year that gave me a lightbulb moment - I don't have to be nice to those who hurt me. Why am I worrying about their feelings when they clearly didn't/don't give a shit about mine? I have never known a person to turn over in bed so aggressively like my last ex. It would cause the whole mattress to bounce, waking me up. It's embarrassing to read this as that used to be me. I have told partners that I didn't need to have an orgasm every time or one was enough. I've realised why now: • I wasn't enjoying myself in the first place. Just wanted him to finish so I could sleep/carry on with whatever I was doing. Especially if he had death grip syndrome and would take ages. • My orgasms were just an ego boost to them. No untreated depression. Get help or stay single. It's exhausting trying to be there for someone who refuses to look after themselves. I once asked my often depressed/suicidal ex if he ever once thought "okay, this is not normal, I don't want to feel this way anymore, maybe I should do something?" His answer? "No, never" And that was when I realised he kind of enjoyed being depressed because then people would feel sorry for him and give him attention.

Women are conditioned to believe that when a man treats us badly it is always our fault and there must be something wrong with us for him to have done that. Especially when it happens regularly. We internalise it and blame ourselves. It's embarrassing to admit to friends/family that YET another man has gone. I had a friend like this. Would always put me down in front of people and it was embarrassing. I invited her out with my friends one night and she proceeded to tell all the men that she had no gag reflex and kept using the same cheesy line "I can sit on your lap and talk about the first thing that pops up". She wasn't invited again. She once wanted a 1960's themed birthday so I went to the fancy dress shop with her and as I was trying on a dress, I mentioned I wanted something that showed off my…

I've only had individual therapy and I'm a huge advocate for it. I was very lucky in that I found someone who I connected with straight away. I went to therapy because of men who refuse to go to therapy. And it helped me SO MUCH in building my self esteem, creating healthy boundaries, being able to say no and processing the reasons why I stayed with such terrible men. I didn't want to be a pickme anymore and she really helped with that. After my first session I was able to stand up to my NVX and…

Just a couple of days ago a work colleague was saying that she lives with an actual man child and I blurted out "just throw the whole man away". Felt bad when she started defending him and their "shared sense of humour". I really don't like her boyfriend but she genuinely believes she can't find anyone better, typical "at least I'm in a relationship" mode. I wish I could help her.

Thank you for checking in. I am okay. The current ex has got to give a police interview today. He had deleted all footage of me and 2 other women but not of her. She also has text messages from him admitting to recording us. I am so relieved that this is being taken seriously.

I have a flesh-coloured mole on my upper lip. One ex used to point it out or keep touching it. I have since found out that it is common to have a mole there. Guys pointing out my large boobs like its supposed to be a compliment. Because I am obviously completely unaware of what my body looks like.

That he had a daughter who was born really premature and only lived for a few hours. Why he felt the need to tell me that on the first date I don't know! He was telling me everything from her birth to her funeral. Stupid me thought "well it's good that he's comfortable enough with me to talk about something like that". In the UK we used to have a magazine called Shout and I read it when I was at school and there was a lot of advice in there about what to do or say if you were being pressured into having sex or doing things you were not ready to do. I just had a horrible memory pop up from about 11 years ago. My boyfriend at the time suffered with psoriasis and one of the places he got it was between his bum cheeks. I still lived at home at this point and he was staying over. All because I wanted to sleep instead. Then he started complaining that I was cold and robotic but couldn't figure out why. Watching tv? I've been thinking of small moments where I've felt uncomfortable around men. I was 10 and at a holiday camp with my family, me and my cousin were in a corridor outside the main entertainment hall. I was wearing a union Jack dress as I was a huge Spice Girls fan and underneath I wore a pair of knickers that had Esmeralda from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame on, child's knickers. My cousin was giving me a piggy back and as she set me down my dress rode up and showed my knickers. At that moment, …

I used to be a hardcore pickme. A Cool Girl, not-like-other-girls, mostly male friends because "women are too much drama" etc. And men still treated me terribly. I had a lot of short term relationships and situationships and started wondering what was wrong with me and why couldn't I "keep" a man. I always thought that if I just showed him how much I cared, if I loved him a little bit harder, if I did that thing in the bedroom he keeps pestering me about, if I cleaned and cooked for him then may…

I remember one ex falling ill with a chest infection. He developed a high temperature and fever. I was there for him nursing and checking up on him. He lived alone and I was worried he'd get worse if left on his own. He turned to me and said "you're so kind to me" and I replied "I know you'd do the same for me." As soon as those words fell out of my mouth I knew it wasn't true. He would have dropped me off back at my mum's for her to deal with spouting how he can't afford to be ill.

I used to do burlesque. I no longer tell partners this because most of them immediately think I'm going to dress up and perform for them privately. Despite explaining to them that that is just an act, a persona, my alter ego. It was like they didn't want sex with "me" anymore. We bathe, we lotion, we remove all body hair, we make sure we smell good and look good all for a guy who whips out his semi hard penis and expects us to be instantly turned on and almost orgasming at the mere sight of it.

A LVM was like this with me the day I met his daughters. I've mentioned him before doing cocaine whilst they were asleep upstairs. Didn't even get to a date. Met him on Plenty of Fish (don't). We had a date planned for the end of the week but during that week he started saying some really uncomfortable things. I lost my virginity at 16 to a 19 year old. My best friend at the time lost hers at 15 on holiday to the 25 year old coach driver. When I was 17 I was groomed by a 28 year old. He was a teacher (not mine) One guy I was casually seeing broke it off with me and started dating a 16 year old when he was 27. Another ex took the virginity of a barely 18 year old when he was 32. They are not men, they are predators.

Started talking about the financial aspect of moving in together. Calculating both our monthly wages and expenses etc. This was the first time a man had ever even mentioned getting a place with me. Then broke up with me ON VALENTINES DAY because he wasn't sure he wanted to be in a relationship. One month later he (31) was in a relationship with an 18 year old. When that didn't last he started seeing a girl who had just turned 18 which means they met when she was 17 🤮

Turns out he'd gone and told her I was following him around the supermarket and was all over him and wouldn't let him leave. What was he trying to achieve? They're engaged now. Good luck l…

I have HSV2 which is primarily genital. Not one of my partners disclosed. I understand that herpes can be asymptomatic so maybe he didn't realise he had it himself who knows? It's been almost a year since my first outbreak and I rarely get them now. If I do they're very mild. It was a case of looking after my health and body once I was diagnosed.

In the UK you can order an at-home testing kit online for free. You get a prepaid envelope to post your samples and they give you your results by text. There is literally no excuse to not get tested. Sadly, herpes is not routinely screened for. Not one of my partners mentioned having herpes but guess which former "cool girl" ended up with herpes? 🙋🏼‍♀️

She was badass. I live in Colchester and in the cellar in one of the hotels there is a small window and inside you can see layers of earth. One of those layers is supposedly ashes from when she burned the town down.

Have we all dated the same guy? I thought maybe I had a low libido. He would say it was my BC/hormones. Not the fact he treated me HORRIBLY outside the bedroom and still expected me to be instantly turned on the minute he whipped out his dick. I actually joined the Low Libido sub for some support. I realised it wasn't my libido after all once we broke up. Anyone else's ex sulk like a child when you weren't in the mood?

Its always those guys who promise these elaborate plans and then a day or two before the planned date start an argument and give you the silent treatment so you end up not going. Rinse and repeat... every 2-3 weeks?

This is something I am learning the hard way. There is no point telling a man how worthless and unhappy he makes you feel. He doesn't care and will probably reply with "well you did this and that made me feel unhappy". My ex is blocked and can say whatever he wants about me. His mask will slip and the truth always comes out eventually.

Tried to explain this to someone a few weeks ago. I was met with "well relationships are not supposed to be easy either" I blocked them not long after this for different reasons.

I can't believe I put up with "I don't do Valentines Day" or "Don't get me a Christmas present" from so many guys! I thought I was being the "cool girlfriend" for not following tradition. Cringe! One of those guys even broke up with me on Valentines Day 🙄.

Without FDS I would have been so upset and blamed myself, asking what I did wrong. I still haven't cried over him. I've been laughing because it's backfired horribly for him. He's lost her AND me. He's only sorry because she's not interested.

Oh this is brilliant 🤣. I don't think he even remembers where this other girls lives so that would really mess him up!

This spoke to me. I've just cried at realising there are a TONNE of women who don't like giving BJs. I thought I was the only one! I thought I was boring or a prude or had some sort of mental block I needed to get over! If I've initiated then I don't mind but if I'm getting "are you gonna put it in your mouth then?" or I feel like I have to do it then I suddenly don't want to. Apparently I'm boring because I won't let a guy finish in my mouth. Apparently I'm bad at it because I gag easily and ha…

I remember receiving a message last year on OLD from a guy. His bio clearly read that he was currently unemployed due to health issues. I told him I was not interested as I wanted a man with a job. He called me shallow! Why even bother looking for a partner if you have health issues so severe that you can't work? The entitlement!

I used to love sites like Literotica and more recently SoloTouch. But I've noticed the majority of stories now involve: Force Violence Incest Awful descriptions of women When describing a man it's usually just cock size. It's very off-putting.

Ugh! I have an ex (one of many, that's why I'm here) who after breaking up with me (on valentines day) started dating an 18 year old when he was 31. That only lasted a few months and then when he turned 32 started dating another barely 18 year old. They are still together a year later. I swear the reason he doesn't want a woman his own age is because then he'd have to put effort in. Seriously, if my 18 year old daughter brought home a 32 year old man I would ask what's wrong with him.

I know someone whose husband became a house husband as she had her own business. She had a kid from a previous relationship and they also had a kid together. He thought he'd just be looking after them. He didn't realise being a house husband meant looking after the HOUSE as well 🙄

Yep. I had a massive argument with my ex and he said some nasty personal things to me that I still think about 1.5 years later. Told my mum and dad who then banned him from the house. And that was MY fault for telling them why I was coming home in the middle of the night in tears.

I'm 34 and really enjoying being single. I've really focused on my physical and mental health which is something that was always pushed aside once I met someone. I used to be an awful pickmeisha. I am embarrassed at what I was willing to put up with to keep a man. Also, I was diagnosed with genital herpes in December last year. At first I thought I was disgusting and was going to be judged and called a slut. I haven't had to disclose to any potential partners yet but it'll help me weed out who i…

I have an ex who at 31 started dating a girl who had just turned 18. They have been together a year now. If my 18 year old daughter brought home a 31 year old man I'd wonder what was wrong with him and why he can't get women his own age. I've realised that it's because he is still 18 mentally. Lives with parents, no real job, keeps taking courses that hinder him getting a real job. No real ambition in life. I dodged a serious bullet there!

After LVM 1 I started seeing LVM 2 and around that time I found out I had chlamydia. It was from LVM 2 in the end but that relationship is a whole other story! I did the right thing and let LVM 1 know and he seemed quite mature "thank you for letting me know, I think a lot of you for telling me". As soon as his test came back negative suddenly I was a slut. I found out later that he was sleeping with 3 other women behind my back. He had 4 women on the go in the space of 3 months yet I was a slut…
