It's really bothersome that people here think that this was a good approach and aren't critiquing it whatsoever. It leads me to believe none of you have ever approached before. The conversation didn't even develop to the point where any personal questions were asked by her. He had to ask for her name. He sacrificed part of his weekend for her for a coffee date.
