Because people don't go around spouting their defects, and even when you find them, the easiest flaws to spot are the ones actively being worked on (Someone trying to quit drinking will tell you they don't drink anymore, for example), the hardest one to spot are those that affect others, funnily enough, because if you don't put in the work to excise these behaviors, you either end up all alone, or really good at disguising them.

True! In the end, we are left with less options, too, with the only "benefit" being that we don't have to carry the expectation of being on the pill/suffering the side effects. You yourself already gave an hypothetical scenario where you would use it, and I think it's not crazy to think that there's men who would rather not get their partner pregnant, dislike using condoms/want to double up, and would rather their partner isn't the one suffering the side effects. I absolutely think that it would sell well to men.

The idea the female contraceptives have side effects because of the white male patriarchy (which is what this always seems to be about) is utterly stupid. Of course, which Is why they're complaining about the fact that other "male birth control pills" were denied after testing found similar side effects to the contraceptive pill. Yeah because I personally demand as a consumer that 78% of my Energy came from fossil fuels instead of nuclear, geothermal, solar. I think by the reaction of the other two girls, the joke isn't even close to celebrating rape, with the joke being purely from the shock value AND making you go "Jesús Christ what Is wrong with you?".
