Then they’d be able to argue that any time a man ends a relationship in which there is a sexual element that he was sexually assaulting his female partner

This is a positive thing why only apply it to half the population wtf? It’s cuz prisons profit off inmates and most inmates are male so why would you free your slaves?

I love this not cuz of your SA story but because it perfectly demonstrates how people perceive SAs vastly different based on the identity and characteristics of the victim

I was watching Christmas vacation today and was reminded of these double standards. If you’re not familiar with the movie the griswold family has some neighbors, a young couple, that they don’t get along with. At one point the wife is so fed up with the griswolds that she’s telling her husband to physically confront them. He refuses and she says something along the lines of fine I’ll do it myself. It doesn’t go as planned and she is mad so she punches her husband in the face. So she expected him…

This shit pissed me off so much when I was younger. If my sister attacked me and I hit her back I was the one who got in trouble cuz I’m a boy and she’s a girl.
