There's a difference between what feminism ought to mean and how it is actually manifested in today's society. Feminism ought to be about equality. Instead it is manifested as sexism against men. Let me be clear, men and women are different. And, that's a good thing. It allows us to cover more - together. Modern feminism instead seeks to further divide us. It supposes that women are superior to men, but cherry pick their fights while claiming that those things that do not favor their side are fa…

Feminists are just women that want to be masculine. I gotta disagree with this statement. That is unless you wanted to put it as "Toxic-Masculinity". Fact is, real masculinity is not about power and control, but rather a protector/provider mindset. You are correct that there is a massive need by feminists to feel in control/dominate others, and that stems from a deeply rooted narcissism. And, therein lies the difference - the reason for accumulating power/controls. For feminists, its to secure t…

Nah, I know plenty of 21+ aged males that are not men, but boys. There is a marked difference.

If "Feminist" truly meant equality for everyone, then yeah, Real Men are Feminists. But that is NOT the reality of the thing. And it's sad that distinction needs to be made.

the problem is that they were expecting the men to pick up their slack. I disagree. I don't believe the writer cares anything about the workplace beyond how it effects her and those that live and agree with her perspective. For my money, the real problem is the realization that there is a complete lack of empathy and respect for others life experiences and perspectives. But the author of that letter believes that hers is the only valid perspective. She does not mention anything about work beyond…

I guarantee you she learned a valuable lesson though. I highly doubt she learned anything of value...

I imagine the guy's defense went something along the lines of, "Your Honor, look at her. Would you fuck that?"

Consider whom the audience of most fashion magazines are targeted towards. Women, not men.

To be fair, most of the fashion industry is less men ogling women as women being jealous of each other.

Contrary to popular believe, it isn't a matter of them liking risk. It's a matter of them not being able to look at anything from other than their point of view. Let me explain. To them, they are off the market. They don't have walls up like they would when dating. Two things happen here. First, they are more receptive towards you, are actually engaged and listening instead of looking for your angle. They know they are going home with their SO, so it doesn't occur to them that you might be hitti…

I get similar things when I spend time with my niece. She's my niece for christs sake! I'm more than double her age! Yet, I constantly get looks like I'm some sick cradle robber. WTF, I can't spend time with family now?

First things, first. You need to figure out how to get over this need of finding validation for yourself in others. STOP IT! They haven't walked a step, let alone a mile in your shoes, they have no right to judge you. Yet, you are giving them power by allowing their view to effect your life. Fuck that. The only person whose judgement matters is your own. You are the only one that earned where you are in life, for better or worse. Therefore you are also the only one that can chose where you go fr…

Actually, it does. The comparison does not matter. What matters is that the concept of innocent until proven guilty is completely thrown out as soon as someone is accused. Not proven, but accused. That is a stain that never goes away that the an innocent person has to deal with the repercussions of for the rest of thier life. By all means, we do need rational discourse on this matter. And you are right, the hypocracy does not help anything but allows us to remain divided.

Do you really want to be with a broad that has been around the block that much that she can make a claim like that?

Respectfully no. The left does not want to "raise up" anyone. They only want to take down those that are more affluent (so long as those people are note hollywood insiders/stars that help them voice their own opinion.) If they (the Dems) said, "hey, how can we be like so-and-so, rich, beautiful house, etc." Instead of constantly saying, they are cheating, getting away with something, it aint fair, we need to punish them. Then maybe we could take them seriously...

Its way more convenient to put blame on a group rather than an individual. After all, if we judged solely on individual actions, then a lot of these leftist feminists wouldn't be any better than the men they claim are responsible for everything.....

No, Women do not deserve respect for being women any more than a man deserves respect for being a man. Likewise, Black Lives don't matter, neither do white, latino, asian, etc. It isn't the demographic that matters, its the ACTIONS of the individual that are important.

I wonder about this paradigm. I've had similar experiences, those in college do tend to explain things in a much clearer fashion. That, after all, is part of college and writing papers; a kind of conditioning. Those in my social life also tend to generalize. Yet, when pressed can offer some unexpected insights to most issues. When asked about that, one of my friends made a very frank comment about it. "Dude, we're buds. We respect each other. I know that when you tell me something, it's somethin…
